This is absolutely gorgeous. I'm learning an arrangement of this, and I must say, I'm having a difficult time with it, so it's nice to be able to hear what it's supposed to sound like, even if I'll never be this good.
Could any one please tell me who wrote the transcription for this nocturne? Could it be Huberman himself?
Thank you manymanero for posting such a lovely piece. I feel honoured and happy to hear such a beautiful recording from such legendary virtuoso... Thank you so much...
Like a string from Heaven! I can't stop listening to that wonderful string!

Not to be a violin nerd, but Bell played the "Tom Tyler" Strad on the Red Violin. Not the Gibson Strad.

One wonders if the thief should have kept the violin in the family. They gave it back too soon. 263K is chump change next to 4 mil.

Bronislaw Huberman war der Lehrer von Friedrich Kohl. Ich hatte das große Glück bei Friedrich ( Fritz ) Kohl Violinunterricht bekommen zu haben!
Vielen dank für dieses Video

Sounds great on the Violin. A unique sound, since this particular song is usually played on the piano....
ebmirador 2 years ago 3

Awesome violinist and a great peice! Now when I'm out on cold winter nights, looking at the star, this song plays in my head.
Is that weird? LOL.

joshua bell does not deserve that violin.
darcdaggar 3 years ago
Then who does?
Joshua Bell plays beautiful music, he's a very nice man, and has talent. What else would you want?
airplanelova93 3 years ago
well, who knows if this was THAT violin?
Huberman had more than one, lol
manymanero 3 years ago
see its all about the money if u got money, u get a good violin like bell did and ur able to boost ur career
thats pathetic- but for example rabin got his violin donated-he deserves his violin
darcdaggar 3 years ago
is this a different version of nocturne?

can somebody tell me the name please??
