If you even watched this video you'd find I did not say glocks were bad. I said their advertisements lead to too much hype and make them over rated as hell. Glocks are NOT the best handguns period. Sigs, rugers, older walthers, 1911s, and numerous other companies can easily compare to and be better than glocks.
Glocks are only used by leo's because they are given a huge discount ( and still make a profit). I'm a sig guy but check out a Steyr m9 easily better then a glock. Don't much care for any fan boy anything . Good video . I respect the pistol but don't like it personally.
@hohogh1 LOLNO. Sigs are known as one of the most reliable pistols on the market. The seals used the p226 for a reason, and their customer service has always been incredibly good to me.
@StSimonMartyr Police use glocks because that is the cheapest thing they can get with deep mags. Police are fired to simply empty bullets at their target. Most police in this area swapped their glock out with another pistol. Like say a sig or a ruger.
@StSimonMartyr you must specify when you say "no other gun" because my revolvers will shoot no matter what. my side by side and single shot, shotgunts and bolt action rifles will shoot no matter what. the more moving parts a gun has the more likely it is to break(fact ask any engineer)

I choose Glock but I ain't mad at ya. I measure guns by asking would I give it to my mom for self defense. I'd trust most modern guns but there are a few I might be reluctant to endorse. The problem with fan boys is they idolize what they bought cause they bought it. I started with a glock, sold it and moved on to others and now I'm back with Glock. I see the M&P eating up Glocks marketshare in the future but for value, simplicity, capacity, reliability, weight, accessories I've made my choice.
I can agree with you that fanboy's are annoying... Glock is good pistol, its great pistol in my opinion. Sig is also very good as well 1911. Then theres many different styles of different pistols. Realsteel pistols (and other guns) have so much different variants of the same pistol when compared to airsoft pistols. Of course you can buy realsteel parts and modify them to AS gun, but most cases its rare and the pistols you are just plain pistols.

Colt and Browning make great pistols too. The M1911 .45 hands down is one of the best pistols ever made. I'd prefer carrying one of those than a Glock. I mean, it's not only cooler looking but also is the first semi-automatic pistol ever made. You cannot compete with that. Sure, it has a high recoil and because of that, not everyone can fire it. However, it is still very easy to take apart and clean. Now, due to the way it's designed, it has multiple safeties. And better safe than sorry!
And what's even worse is, because they get this sort of "superior" reputation, everyone wants one. What's the most common sidearm criminals and gang members use today? The Glock. It was used in the Texas shootings and thanks to that, extended mags are banned there. No, you never see a gangster with a 1911 or Browning High-Power. If it's a pistol it's either a Glock, Desert Eagle, or a revolver. They often use submachine guns like Uzis. And if they even use a rifle, it's an AK...sheep.
@Transformers2themax It's a great pistol and it lives to its reputation imo. I have Glocks, and while they aren't my favorites, they are functional which is why I keep them. It's also one of the common firearms for police in the US and around the world.

But anyways, what Jarek and myself are trying to say is that we're both annoyed at how Glock advertises and how everyone believes it. Today, it seems like all people want is an AK47 and/or a Glock. You wanna use a good modern pistol? Use the Sig Sauer P220. That uses a .45 and will absolutely get the job done.

@Transformers2themax That's debatable. You have to disengage the safety on a 1911 before you draw it from the holster. The Glock has no safeties to disengage. I think the Glock is safe. I would not feel afraid to carry one. Yeah, the 1911 would be better for pistol whipping somebody, but pistols are made for shooting, not hitting. The 1911 was not the first semi automatic ever made. The Borchardt C-93 is thought to be the first semi automatic pistol produced. It was made in 1893.
Oh, okay. I always thought the M1911 was the first semi-automatic pistol. Perhaps, at least it's the first of its kind and mechanical design. That's fine if you prefer the Glock. I just like the M1911 better. To me, it looks the coolest and I favor it over the Glock because of it's feel and makeup. I'm very lightweight and I'm not that strong, so it's ironic that I would rather carry an M1911. It's just such a historical weapon. I've fired three before and have the Bell Colt M1911A1 with trades.
@Transformers2themax You're right that it was first in its mechanical design I believe. Many pistols today use the similar type of recoil operation the 1911 has. The 1911 is a great pistol. One thing the 1911 does have over the Glock imo is the feel. It does feel very comfortable in your hands. The trigger is also better. It also looks A LOT better. I like the CZ 75 over both of them. I have fired WW2 and WW1 1911's.
@esh325 Yeah, I like the CZ75. That's another well designed pistol. Like I said, I prefer the M1911 over any other pistol. However, if I couldn't carry a 1911, I'd carry a Sig Sauer P220. If I couldn't use a .45, I'd like to use the CZ75. That thing doesn't kick that much. I like revolvers, but the way you have to reload THEM is a lot harder and slower. Plus, they're a little bit dangerous. If you ever fired one with your hand on the cylinder, you'd have to be taken to the emergency.
i prefer the m1911, the glock is no god either, even the m1911 is more acuate than the glock, no matter if its .45 9mm or anything, the whole purpose of the usp .45 was to be more acuate than the m1911 .45 and the m1911 (in acuarcy) still comes out on top, and no im not a m1911 fanboy i also love the .357 magnum and the smith and wesson .45 i can not stand 9mm.

@BruteForceAirsoft123 In comparing the Glock vs the 1911 in accuracy, it's really the shooter that is the factor rather then the gun. Both guns can be relied to hit their target in a life and death situation if the shooter is competent.
I do NOT think glocks are the best but I just prefer them. They are comfortable and reliable, and idk it just feels "right". Maybe its because its the first gun i ever shot but i like glocks. The m1911 is like no other and it is by far the best damn pistol thats ever been made. I have my grandpas military issue m1911 from ww2 and it has never broken, needed parts or anything, best firearm ever. Glocks are great all the way around. You are compensated well for what you pay for them, and they go bang everytime as long as you dont throw a bunch of after market shit on them. However the best handgun is the one you can shoot accurately and goes bang everytime. So anytime someone says a gun is gay or that gun isnt for you or sucks is a fucking idiot. I would take an H&K pistol over any of them.

@RedDragonAirsoft Although my only handgun is a Glock 22 which i love, i also like sigs, beretta's, h&k's, and most 1911's. Im a bit more open minded about different handguns. Glocks are not for everyone just like Sigs are not for everyone. I like Glocks because they are very simple to operate and i dont have any safeties to deal with.

I think, just an opinion, that now days people don't pay any attention to the ammo they are shooting. True the handgun has to fit the person, but this isn't the 70's. The ammo is just as much a science as the firearm itself.
Find the fit. The right gun, the ammo it likes and shoots best. Fanboys be damned.
As far as fealing cheap, doesn't get cheaper than an AK, and the simplicity is what makes em great. Can't always baby them, they simply have to work.
Glocks can take alot of abuse and usually are extremely reliable, and they have 3 safety systems, all in the trigger. The first rule of firearm safety.

glock "to me" feel like a cheap airsoft gun. when shot a 17, the magazine wobbled like crazy, i thought it was going to fall out every time i shot it. also, the slide wobbled a lot to. it just feels.. not solid, cheap. you get what im sayin?

personally I am partial to Colt .45's and M9, mostly because of the use with U.S. Armed Forces. I like the look of the glock but that is about it. What it all comes down to is what you like and what feels right for you. I know for most of my friends, that is not a glock. And FYI the Taraus Judge is an awesome handgun, slightly impractical but awesome
my friend got a glock and i got a g&g extreme 45. his does 280 fps with shitty accuracy and a gas guzzling mag. my gun does fucking 410 fps with exceptional accuracy and a co2 mag that can last 4 clips. he acts as though its the best damn thing to ever have come from airsoft. 2 weeks later, during a game, the mag is leaking the accuracy is shittier and the fucking top slide fell off and broke. best day of my life right there.

Walther P99 are my absolute favourite handgun ever made, period. GLOCKS are good because they can be full-auto, especially in airsoft if you have either the Wii Tactical RONI Carbine Conversion Kit or the AABB HR Style GLOCK Carbine Conversion Kit.

IMO Glock stock sights suck. Who wants to pay several hundreds of dollars only to have to pay a gunsmith more money to upgrade the sights? I would rather throw my empty XDM at a perpetrator than fire a fully loaded Glock.
I couldn't agree more. I started my handgun shooting experience 12+ years ago with a glock 19, I am now 21. My daily carry is an m&p9. The glock IS bulky and squared off making it clownishly uncomfortable in the hand. I also can't seen to shoot glocks well at all. Mushy trigger, no defined reset, what is there to like. My m&p trigger breaks like glass and will keep rounds in a paper plate at 50 yards. My 0.02 cents.

@RedDragonAirsoft Why are you hating on the Makarov? I own a Makarov and it is amazing for daily carrying. I have a special holster made ONLY for the Makarov, this holster works in a very unique way. You can pull it out the top like most holsters, but you can also slide it out the bottom. When you slide it out the bottom, the weapon is cocked, chambered, the safety is disabled, and the weapon is ready to fire in about 2 seconds flat. Other weapons, you have to take it out and cock it.

One of my friends has constantly tried to convince me to replace my Sig220 with a Glock but I just cant warm up to it. The way it feels in my hand, the lack of a decocking lever and manual safety just bugged me. I know those are nitpicky reasons but why replace a tried and true weapon, that I love, for something that I don't even like to hold. And with every new "revolutionary" generation of Glock nothing of substance actually changes. I say go for a Sig. That or a Colt, or Kimber, 1911.

Colt and Browning make great pistols too. The M1911 .45 hands down is one of the best pistols ever made. I'd prefer carrying one of those than a Glock. I mean, it's not only cooler looking but also is the first semi-automatic pistol ever made. You cannot compete with that. Sure, it has a high recoil and because of that, not everyone can fire it. However, it is still very easy to take apart and clean. Now, due to the way it's designed, it has multiple safeties. And better safe than sorry!

And what's even worse is, because they get this sort of "superior" reputation, everyone wants one. What's the most common sidearm criminals and gang members use today? The Glock. It was used in the Texas shootings and thanks to that, extended mags are banned there. No, you never see a gangster with a 1911 or Browning High-Power. If it's a pistol it's either a Glock, Desert Eagle, or a revolver. They often use submachine guns like Uzis. And if they even use a rifle, it's an AK...sheep.

@esh325 I do realize that our military and police forces use Glocks. And there's not doubt that they're good pistols. I personally just like the baby Glock. But anyways, what Jarek and myself are trying to say is that we're both annoyed at how Glock advertises and how everyone believes it. Today, it seems like all people want is an AK47 and/or a Glock. You wanna use a good modern pistol? Use the Sig Sauer P220. That uses a .45 and will absolutely get the job done.

@esh325 Well, the M1911 is a lot easier to use, it's safer, and it would make a better hand-to-hand combat weapon in case you were to run out of ammo due to the harder material it's made out of. Plus, the Colt's an absolute classic. In fact, it was invented exactly 100 years ago, being the first semi-automatic pistol ever made.

@Transformers2themax That's debatable. You have to disengage the safety on a 1911 before you draw it from the holster. The Glock has no safeties to disengage. I think the Glock is safe. I would not feel afraid to carry one. Yeah, the 1911 would be better for pistol whipping somebody, but pistols are made for shooting, not hitting. The 1911 was not the first semi automatic ever made. The Borchardt C-93 is thought to be the first semi automatic pistol produced. It was made in 1893.

Oh, okay. I always thought the M1911 was the first semi-automatic pistol. Perhaps, at least it's the first of its kind and mechanical design. That's fine if you prefer the Glock. I just like the M1911 better. To me, it looks the coolest and I favor it over the Glock because of it's feel and makeup. I'm very lightweight and I'm not that strong, so it's ironic that I would rather carry an M1911. It's just such a historical weapon. I've fired three before and have the Bell Colt M1911A1 with trades.

@Transformers2themax You're right that it was first in its mechanical design I believe. Many pistols today use the similar type of recoil operation the 1911 has. The 1911 is a great pistol. One thing the 1911 does have over the Glock imo is the feel. It does feel very comfortable in your hands. The trigger is also better. It also looks A LOT better. I like the CZ 75 over both of them. I have fired WW2 and WW1 1911's.

@esh325 Yeah, I like the CZ75. That's another well designed pistol. Like I said, I prefer the M1911 over any other pistol. However, if I couldn't carry a 1911, I'd carry a Sig Sauer P220. If I couldn't use a .45, I'd like to use the CZ75. That thing doesn't kick that much. I like revolvers, but the way you have to reload THEM is a lot harder and slower. Plus, they're a little bit dangerous. If you ever fired one with your hand on the cylinder, you'd have to be taken to the emergency.

I do NOT think glocks are the best but I just prefer them. They are comfortable and reliable, and idk it just feels "right". Maybe its because its the first gun i ever shot but i like glocks. The m1911 is like no other and it is by far the best damn pistol thats ever been made. I have my grandpas military issue m1911 from ww2 and it has never broken, needed parts or anything, best firearm ever. Im sorry Jarek, I disagree with you about your opinion on glocks, but agree they r not the best.

Glocks are great all the way around. You are compensated well for what you pay for them, and they go bang everytime as long as you dont throw a bunch of after market shit on them. However the best handgun is the one you can shoot accurately and goes bang everytime. So anytime someone says a gun is gay or that gun isnt for you or sucks is a fucking idiot. I would take an H&K pistol over any of them.

Glocks are not for everyone just like Sigs are not for everyone. I like Glocks because they are very simple to operate and i dont have any safeties to deal with.

I have a Rizzini Shotgun, 20 gauge over and under and its a collectable, worth about 8k now and maybe 20k in the next 8 years.

I also like alot of other manufactures of guns.

I think, just an opinion, that now days people don't pay any attention to the ammo they are shooting. True the handgun has to fit the person, but this isn't the 70's. The ammo is just as much a science as the firearm itself.
Find the fit. The right gun, the ammo it likes and shoots best. Fanboys be damned.
As far as fealing cheap, doesn't get cheaper than an AK, and the simplicity is what makes em great. Can't always baby them, they simply have to work.

Glocks can take alot of abuse and usually are extremely reliable, and they have 3 safety systems, all in the trigger. The first rule of firearm safety.
I respect your opinion, esp concerning the feel and the fit. I would love to own a D.E. but the firearms are simply too big for my hands.
I love Glock, they fit me. Calling them a LE Handgun is silly though. So was Ruger, so was S&W, so is Sig. Biggest thing a Glock gave in that dept is more rounds without an extended clip.

personally I am partial to Colt .45's and M9, mostly because of the use with U.S. Armed Forces. I like the look of the glock but that is about it. What it all comes down to is what you like and what feels right for you. I know for most of my friends, that is not a glock. And FYI the Taraus Judge is an awesome handgun, slightly impractical but awesome

my friend got a glock and i got a g&g extreme 45. his does 280 fps with shitty accuracy and a gas guzzling mag. my gun does fucking 410 fps with exceptional accuracy and a co2 mag that can last 4 clips. he acts as though its the best damn thing to ever have come from airsoft. 2 weeks later, during a game, the mag is leaking the accuracy is shittier and the fucking top slide fell off and broke. best day of my life right there.

Walther P99 are my absolute favourite handgun ever made, period. GLOCKS are good because they can be full-auto, especially in airsoft if you have either the Wii Tactical RONI Carbine Conversion Kit or the AABB HR Style GLOCK Carbine Conversion Kit.

I couldn't agree more. I started my handgun shooting experience 12+ years ago with a glock 19, I am now 21. My daily carry is an m&p9. The glock IS bulky and squared off making it clownishly uncomfortable in the hand. I also can't seen to shoot glocks well at all. Mushy trigger, no defined reset, what is there to like. My m&p trigger breaks like glass and will keep rounds in a paper plate at 50 yards. My 0.02 cents.

I don't know what the best pistol is. I wouldn't judge Glock on the fanboys or the way the company advertises, but by the merits and disadvantages it has. I never fired a Glock, but I have held one and I liked the way it fin my hand. I might consider getting one some day.

@RedDragonAirsoft Why are you hating on the Makarov? I own a Makarov and it is amazing for daily carrying. I have a special holster made ONLY for the Makarov, this holster works in a very unique way. You can pull it out the top like most holsters, but you can also slide it out the bottom. When you slide it out the bottom, the weapon is cocked, chambered, the safety is disabled, and the weapon is ready to fire in about 2 seconds flat. Other weapons, you have to take it out and cock it.

One of my friends has constantly tried to convince me to replace my Sig220 with a Glock but I just cant warm up to it. The way it feels in my hand, the lack of a decocking lever and manual safety just bugged me. I know those are nitpicky reasons but why replace a tried and true weapon, that I love, for something that I don't even like to hold. And with every new "revolutionary" generation of Glock nothing of substance actually changes. I say go for a Sig. That or a Colt, or Kimber, 1911.
