when i was a 10 year old kid, i bought Crystal as my first official Pokemon game [was copping red off cousin] and i liked going into the battle frontier cause they always had THE most bat shit insane pokemon!

5 years later, i bought Silver and wondered for the longest time "was there not a huge battle tower here or wtf?"

Johto was an amazing sequel and included many features.

Hoenn just goes to show that Nintendo is very creative with games showing secret bases and Dive.

Kanto started all.

Johto was and it's still the best region for almost all the fans.

Hoenn gave us the first Battle Frontier, epic legendaries pokes and Salamance.

Sinnoh gave us more pokemon and evolutions, and the epic boss Cyrus.

As for me, I like so much the Hoenn region.

Lol, I remember this. Battle Tower back in the GSC era was HUGE! Simply the fact that you were afforded the ability to battle trainers whose level matched yours and gave you quite a bit of difficulty for the most part. Old-day Pokemon games were all about just sweeping the Elite Four and leveling your Pokemon. If you wanted a challenge, you had to hook up to Pokemon Stadium 1 or 2. :P <3 those days. This is the only Battle Tower where you could use legendaries such as Mewtwo, Lugia, Ho-oh etc.
