@bweazel You are one ignorant fuck about our system, along with being just an ignorant fuck. Good for you.
Google 45,000 Americans die every year due to lack of access to care. Nice system. keep it. We live longer, have better access to care and NEVER have to worry about how to pay for a medical bill or simply go without care because we can't afford it. THAT is the ultimate wait time. FOREVER DIPSHIT!!!
And btw, the gov't NEVER decides what treatment we get. Dipshit!
@Beartit69 Scuse me. The person that told me this story is a close friend of mine, and a Canadian that couldn't afford to come to America. So he had to wait four years to have it done in Canada. So don't tell me I don't know what I'm talking about. This is a story straight from the mouth of a Canadian. You live about 5 months longer, good for you. If all you have are averages and statistics. Move on. People die here too, but they don't pay for it their whole life. Get the difference?
@bweazel Actually we are over 2 years above you in lifespan, and we are quite a bit better in infant mortality. So, yes, we are superior. But I thought your system is far superior like you seem to claim??? Hmmmm
@Beartit69 Typical Canadian. Canadian pride is so disgusting. I'm so sorry. 1.3 more babies per 1000 survive in socialist healthcare system, compared to a private health system with 45 million uninsured people. That's almost double your population, and you're still trying to claim these as positives for your system. Cool, have at it. That one baby makes all the difference doesn't it.
It depends on which source you look at, but I'll give you a year. Again, is that it? 1 baby and 1 year? Horray!
@bweazel Do you have any idea how many more babies that ends up being over the course of a year?? Cripe man, Toronto Western Hospital alone delivers over 7000 babies a year, that's 8 more babies that get a life here that they wouldn't have in the States. And that's just ONE hospital in Canada.
You keep saying 45 million without insurance as a postive thing?? Are you on crack? Do the math sunshine. Never mind, your math skills are quite evidently non-existent.
@Beartit69 I'd say about 1000. Big deal though. Babies die sometimes. And you know what??? We're having lots more babies down here than you are up there with your 33 million. If you needed a reminder, we have 300,000,000 people down here. So again, if all you have are statistics. Move on.
Geez, I wish would could milk off of a capitalist nation too and only have 30 million people to take care of. It would be so easy to criticize others then. Our insured outnumber your nation. Get it?
@Beartit69 No, dude. That's not my comeback. I said with 45,000,000 uninsured people, we are bound to have more infants die than you. With 300,000,000 people, we have more babies, thus, more die. Do you understand? Do you see now why you're an idiot for continuing to use statistics to support your healthcare system? I would say that to a parent who lost a child, and if they took good care of themselves while pregnant, they would agree. It happens sometimes, nothing can be done to stop it.
@bweazel You just said, because you have 45,000,000 not insured is precisely why are numbers are better and our access is better. YOUR SYSTEM SUCKS!!! You are just blinded by your own stupidity to see it. Wow, just wow!!!
@Beartit69 Listen, bro. Our healthcare system kicks the ever living shit out of yours, we have more operating rooms, better and more modern equipment, and more of it. You all have to ration your care, and people have to wait in line to use the OR's and equipment.
Now, our insurance system. Sure, it's a bit fishy and a bit expensive. But when it has to pay for the type of health system we have, ya, it's acceptable. Again, we don't have to wait four years if we have a donor. You do.
@bweazel It kicks the living shit out of yours, yet studies show otherwise. I said if all you have is your ignorant opinion then FUCK OFF.
You CLEARLY have no FUCKING clue how our system works, but I have a clear and concise understanding that more equiment does not mean more access or better access.
You don't have more modern equipment. I know this because I FUCKING LIVE HERE.
Now when you want to get out of your ass backward state & visit me I'll show you what we have.
@Beartit69 There's not much you need to know about your system. Remove all the nationalistic bullshit and the Canadian pride, and you're left with rationed care. So the testimony from my family friend is me having no idea how Canadian healthcare works? Ok. Seems like you are cherry picking. Ummm, yes, we do, you know, since most of it is invented here, we usually test it out first. Not only that, we have more of it. Again, you all ration your care, yes, that includes equipment purchases.
@bweazel I'm cherry picking?? That's all you have done is cherry pick and throw out one anedotal story then provide additional bullshit on it.. I provide hard number facts YOU FUCKING IGNORE. Nice. Keep posting. You just keep burying yourself.
@Beartit69 All your stats you kept throwing around, yes, cherry picking. How is calling rationed care what it is, cherry picking? God damn, so annoying to talk to Canadians. It's like a country full of men with tiny dick syndrome.
@bweazel Statisticas tell you what the TRUE story is, not anecdotes and opinions. If that's all you have then fuck off dude. I'm getting tired of burying you with FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Beartit69 No statistics are just statistics, and they change for each environment. For you to behave like you statistics, with your 30,000,000 insured people is the same as statistics from a group of 300,000,000, 45,000,000 which are uninsured, then I think you're an idiot. Actually. I think you know you are an idiot, it's just that Canadian pride that keeps pushing you to make these idiotic statements. Rationed care sucks, period. You cannot beat a private, free choice system. Period.
@bweazel An idiot is someone who ignores stats and studies that show WE have better healthcare outcomes, WE have better access to care, ALL of us our covered, WE have better choice, WE never have to worry about losing our jobs along with our insurance, WE will never go bankrupt over a hospital. Pride has nothing to do with it. PERIOD!!
Wake the fuck UP!!!!
People who aren't getting care AREN"T in the stats you twit.
@Beartit69 Per capita? Haha, ok, let me explain it to you this way, since you guys are a bit more dumb up north. You all had 300,000 babies born last year, we had 4.3 million. Now, with those numbers out there, do you think it is a higher chance that you will have more mothers that drink, smoke, or otherwise disregard their pregnancy in the smaller group, or do you think the larger group would have more of those? Come on.... think real hard on this one you ignorant Canadian fuck. Think....
@bweazel Of course you'll have more, YOU HAVE A BIGGER POPULATION. You don't understand per centages and per capitas..do you?? Honestly, you have to be one of the densest people I've ever come across on here. On a percapita basis or percentage, we would proprotionally have similar numbers to you. How you don't get that is MIND BOGGLING.
@Beartit69 Seriously. You might as well just reduce it down this. One healthy Canadian woman vs. 14 random American women. The Canadian has a healthy baby, now, what are the chances the other 14 women will be as healthy? Do you see why you're being a complete retard? Don't compare yourselves to us, you are not us, you are no where close to us. We support you and enable you to have the system you do. God damn.... I can't wait til we abolish NAFTA and get you leeches off of our tit.
@bweazel Now you are now saying you support us?? Really?? Are you that much of an egotistical ignorant FUCK?? Nevermind, everyone single one of your posts already prove that.
Really dude, this is fun.
We have the system we do through OUR TAXES, not yours dipshit. Take your fat head out of your ass already.
@Beartit69 Where did I say I support Canada's rationed care system? I've said over and over again, I do not support rationed healthcare. I'm not sure what idiot would. You would have to be a prideful, nationalistic putz (Canadians are both) to not admit that rationing care is not a good way to deliver care. Delivering care when it is needed is clearly a better way. Do some people get left out? Sure, but perhaps they should have chipped in and gotten insurance if it was important to them, eh?
We don't ration care. We have wait times for non-urgent care. Your system, AGAIN, rations by eliminating MILLIONS of the que. You are just TOO FUCKING STUPID to know that.
I hope you never lose your insurance, assuming you have it.
@Beartit69 Ok, so what serious surgery have you had up there then? If you know so much about it. Can you give me a testimony like the one I've given you? Can you explain to me why he had to wait four years with a donor? Please, I'll wait. Explain.
@bweazel I don't believe he waited 4 years after finding a donor. I work in the Pharma industry, and I'm in and out of hospitals across the country. My wife did the same thing, calling on Nephrologists (kidney). I know for a FACT we don't wait once a donor is found. Live or dead.
For me, let's see. 3 broken bones, all fixed right away. My lung collapsed, brought in right away, life saved. My wife needed emerg. c-section, got it, her life saved and my daughters.
@Beartit69 And you don't think that would have happened in the USA? Haha, ok. You're right. We leave pregnant mothers on the road to die. I see bums with broken bones all the time. As a matter of fact, I don't know a single person walking around that has some serious malfunction with their body that they're living with due to not being able to get care. We get it. Either you pay for it, and you get the best of care, or you sell yourself down to poverty, and you get a Canadian type system.
@bweazel Dude, you have people forgoing needed cancer treatment so spare us your ignorance of your own system. This comes right from the head of American Cancer Society. Guess how many??? Nearly a million, so spare me your out right ignorance not only of our system but your own. Want the link??
@bweazel Who are they?? Friends and relatives. I'd continue, but at 500 character limits, I'd be posting for a while. Again, I'll put my money where my mouth is. Get on a plane and I'll show you around hospitals in SW Ontario. Because of my job, I have access to hospitals throughout the region.
Look, I don't care if you don't want our system, that's up to you. But stop spewing shit you about something you clearly have a blinded view of because of your position on the subject. Fair enough?
@Beartit69 Well hopefully you're job doesn't get you and your family in quicker than someone that doesn't work for the health "industry"..... is it ok to call you guys an industry?
Oh, so stop spewing a story about a Canadian that was screwed over by your piece of shit system? No thanks, I'll keep telling the story, because you guys don't seem to want to.
@Beartit69 So no serious surgeries though? Ok, just checking. Cutting and sewing are not serious surgeries. I'm going to talk with him some more, don't you worry, I'll be back to let you know why your rationed healthcare system failed him so badly. By the way, he developed many other problems waiting so long too.
Not sure why you're trying to play like no one waits in Canada. You can find plenty of Canadians that will say exactly the opposite.
@bweazel Cancer is not serious? My mom would have died if she didn't go into surgery right away. I would have died without my intervention, as would my wife. My uncle received immediate bypass surgery. There are countless other cases. You just don't get it.
And I never said 100% of us have no complaints. No system is perfect. But ours serves everyone at a far less cost.
@Beartit69 Couldn't care less about your mom. Yes, you all receive emergency care. So do we, what's your point?
Yes, far less cost, because you ration care. Good for you. Ours is expensive because we pay for what we get. Do you understand? Crossing the border into Canada does not suddenly make these things less expensive. Cost the same as they do here, instead you all have one machine thousands of people share, while we have about twenty machines a hundred or so people use. Do you get it?
@bweazel You don't served 45 million people and we ration?? They don't even count in your costs. You spend 16% of GDP on your system and don't even come close to covering everyone. We spend 10% and cover EVERYONE.
You pay for what you get??? 45 million people get JACK SHIT!!! And that's better??
And yes, operations, hospital beds, do cost less when you cross the border. Those are FACTS, not opinion. Which is all you have.
@Beartit69 They choose not to be insured, you know, that whole freedom thing? They could afford it if they wanted it. If you are in poverty, you are entitled to medicare, if you're not in poverty, then it's up to you. Personally, I don't feel that bad for those 45 million who by their own choice, have chosen not to purchase health insurance.
No no, we don't spend GDP on things, that's you all. Our GDP is reflective of what we produce. Honestly, try a free market, you might actually like it.
I know how youre medicare and medicaide system works. Despite them, you still have MILLIONS that can't afford insurance. Not to mention the MILLIONS more that are underinsured. Meaning, their deductibles are sooooo high, they can't afford to go see their doc because of the high copays, deductibles etc. that our system DOES NOT HAVE.
I like a free market for stereo equipment, not healthcare. Try Somalia, they have a great free market.
@bweazel So your "friend" waited 4 years, I didn't say it wasn't true. I pointed out you wait JUST as long or LONGER in the States. I also looked up mortality rates while waiting. In Canada, 6% of those waiting for a kidney transplant die, while 46% die in the U.S. Want the links?
They don't pay for it their whole life??? Its called bankruptcy sunshine or a bank load to pay for their surgery. Ask them how long they pay for it. And our taxes aren't much more than yours.
@Beartit69 And I'm pointing out to you, no it's not if you have a donor and insurance. You will get in that day if you want. Because we actually have operating rooms, you know, private business, that kinda stuff. You guys have to ration care to make it work. You guys have to make some guy that has kidney disease wait four years in pain so everyone can feel good about having equal care. Fuck that. Fuck that. Fuck that. Read it one more time. Fuck that.
@bweazel you are a sucker. You keep saying ration care yet IGNORE those 45 million who just DON'T get care AT ALL. That isn't rationing?? Fuck man, WAKE UP. And they don't just get a kidney right away you twit, there has to be a DONOR! Hello?
You guys wait longer on average for a kidney transplant. What part of that don't you understand. Not to mention you are FAR more likely to DIE in the U.S. while waiting for that transplant than we are. Private care has NOTHING to do with it.
@Beartit69 If your entire country is covered, and you're only months above us in lifespan, that's really not something you should be using as a positive for the Canadian health system. We have 45 million people uninsured, you have your entire country insured and supposedly they have access to care, and you're pretty much exactly even with us in infant mortality, lifespan, etc. Yaaa! Go Canada! Good job!
Your healthcare system is a piece of shit. You know it, we know it. You keep your rationed care, we'll keep our private medicine. Four years for a kidney transplant? From someone who already had a donor? Fuck that, and fuck you Canada. If you think that is acceptable healthcare, I feel sorry for you all.
@Beartit69 It was his wife, she was willing to donate from day one, they had to wait four years for a surgery room. That's how rationed your care is up there. That would have never happened in the States. If you have the money and a donor, you're in, same day. Not four years after the fact. This was not a guy that was on a waiting list, I'll say again, he had a donor from DAY ONE. Waiting as long as he did caused him other health problems too. Again... Go Canada! Great healthcare! Wooo!
@Beartit69 The difference is that if you have the money, you will live. Yes. Fuck that? Hahah, ok. Personally, I'd say fuck being a successful person, paying for the rest of the country, and having to wait in line. Fuck that!!! That's why they all end up coming down here to get their surgeries. Because they can afford it. Probably end up moving down here too after that, because they're sick of paying for some rationed bullshit that doesn't even help them when they really need it.
@bweazel You see, but we DON"T come down 'there' to get healthcare. Very, very, very few Canadians go south for care. Read the study Phantoms in the SNow, which concluded that Canadians going south for care is like a tip with no iceburg. While 750,000 Americans went abroad for care in 2007 because they couldn't afford their treatment at home. The number was predicted to go into the millions last year. Very telling.
Again, the ultimate in wait time and rationing is FOREVER!!!
@Beartit69 You don't, no. Probably because you can't afford it. Successful people in your country do though.
Let me break it down for you this way. We pay so much down here for it, because there are so many operating rooms, and they're all equipped to the teeth. You all don't pay alot up there, because you ration. If you think that is a superior system to freedom of choice, I call you a dumb ass Canadian that has too much pride to admit his country got it wrong.
@bweazel I am successful sunshine. I make $150 G's/year and my wife makes nearly that much. We wouldn't give up our system EVER for yours. And neither would 90% of our country.
We have freedom of choice, that you don't have.
Our insurance works with EVERY doctor, in EVERY hosptial across the country. The same CAN NOT be said on your insurance run system. YOu are stricted on hospitals you can go to, or they won't cover you. Nice system
@Beartit69 Say that when you get kidney disease and your wife is willing to donate your kidney, and you might die in the waiting period. Let's see how much you love your system when you actually need it to work for you. You do not have freedom of choice, your money is taken from you, and you receive rationed care in return. Here, we pay a higher price, but we choose who we go to, when we go to them, and we get our attention instantly, if you pay for it.
@bweazel If my wife is williing to donate her kidney, we get the operation right away you numb nut. We don't wait. The four year wait is for a donor that has DIED!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck you are stupid.
@Beartit69 Strange, because the Canadian I know says completely the opposite of you. He had a donor from day one and still had to wait four years to get his surgery.
@bweazel My mother needed life saving bowel surgery, got it, life saved. My father. 2 hip replacement surgeries. Next door neighbours, both cancer, both treated and in remission. I could go on, as the list continues.
We don't wait for urgent surgeries. We wait for elective surgeries like hip replacement, but we ALL get them. Unlike your system. WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!
@Beartit69 Jesus christ, chill the fuck out you idiot.
Ya? Same thing here, man. Emergency care is available for everyone. Meaning if someone comes to you about to die, you cannot deny them care even if they are uninsured. So... unlike my system? Ok, keep tugging on that tiny Canadian cock of yours, maybe it will get bigger ;)
@bweazel ER care is available for everyone but not for free. Cancer care is not emergency, that is why nearly a million of your countrymen go without treatment for it. That's better??? How??
Not only that, what you co-pays, deductibles, etc?
And its hard not to 'chill the fuck out' when I'm dealing with an idiot whose comeback is talking about my cock. Spare me. Nice debating skills.
@Beartit69 Reasonable. It's called a free market. Perhaps you all should give it a try. Oh wait.... no... that takes effort and risk, better count you all out of that one. You're dealing with a person that thinks rationing care is a piss poor way to deliver care to people.
I never talked about your cock specifically (although I guess you could argue I did), just saying most Canadian men act like they have a tiny one, so defensive, so nationalistic, always typing in all caps, etc.
@bweazel Free market has resulted in inflated prices for your system. Its anything but free for you. Why would we want a system that leaves MILLIONS not being able to access it? Fucking IDIOT!!!
And you didn't talk about my cock?? SHould I repost your crap?? You don't even know what you write, that's how stupid you are.
@Beartit69 ....? Who said anything about free? Again, that's you all. Down here, we are a bit more realistic. We realize there's no free lunch, and we pay our own way. You all pile on top of each others backs then pat yourselves on the back for your half ass rationed care. Good for you
This conversation is getting old. Can't argue with Canadians.
@Beartit69 I do, I said your Canadian cock. Yes, I said your, but I was still referring to my older post talking about general Canadian tiny penises. I use "you" as a general you a lot, so no, I don't need you to find what I already know I wrote, that's why I said I guess you could argue I did, clearly you aren't even reading to the end of these. You bore me. Have fun up there. Peace.
@bweazel I hope you strain your cock whilst masturbating to pictures of Herman Cain and get denied coverage by you're insurance provider forcing you to pay 10,000$ to get it fixed, forcing you to take out multiple loans that you will still be paying 15 years from now.
@bweazel DUDE. Let me repeat this for the third time now. YOU WAIT ANYWHERE FROM 4 TO 7 YEARS for the same operation. And those that wait in the states have a FAR better chance of DYING while waiting.
How do you not undertand that???? You not only wait longer, you die while waiting. Nice system you FUCKING MORON!!!!! Those are people WITH INSURANCE you dumb fuck!!!
What? Health care is rationed and denied to save profits? That is not true at all. And, if you are comparing the efficiency and effectiveness of a privatized American system to public systems then it is pretty clear that public systems serve the citizens of a country much better. There is much evidence that demonstrates this Canadian health care on the international scorecard Globe and Mail, Published Sunday, Nov. 07, 2010.
the Universal health care system is a RATIONED health care system that has long waits for everything.....health care is blatantly denied to save PROFITS for government;
while government spends money on anything but getting patients well....
UNIVERSAL HEALTH CARE IS CANADA'S BIGGEST LIE;
Canadian Doctors are so poorly trained it takes 100 doctors 5 years to diagnose a spinal injury,,,,DUH.... DENIAL OF CARE FOR GOVERNMENT PROFIT........
@FIXWCBCANADA The doctors do it on purpose, they caught on a long time ago. They'll send you around to 5 specialists or schedule a visit for simple test results because they charge $67.50 from OHIP every time. Or $144.75 on visits over 50 minutes.
@charged220 ,,,,it was a lot more than $67.50 in my case, some assessments by workers comp rewarded the specialists with over $500 for a 1 hr consultation; None of these assessments diagnosed my injury; In wcb assessments, a physician / chiropracter / physical therapist / psychologist, were paid $2000 dollars out of the wcb fund to help with my rehabilitation, not 1 diagnostic test was ordered, even though previous x-rays raised question with regards to my 2 spinal injuries;
@FIXWCBCANADA Sorry, I meant general physicians are paid the $67.50, not specialists. I'm not surprised in the least of an abuse of a system that's responsible for everyone, yet accountable to no one. My deepest sympathies for your injuries, and kudos for being brave to speak out.

@FIXWCBCANADA 5 year wait for an MRI wait in Canada?? Yet the 2009 Canadian wait times report shows that the median wait time for one is 30 days in Ontario and 41 in Alberta. Urgent cases are done immediately, as are inpatients.
The Canadian healthcare system is the most equitable in the world. Show me one study where Canadians are dying waiting for care.
I find the canadian health care system rams their health care down your throat that you dont even really need. When I have a problem I go to the emergency room to get stiched up and sent on my way. Usually the emergency is empty and the people that come in have questionable "problems." then they want to book you to see a bunch of specialists, then the specialists want you to come back every week for a year. "oh but you need to come back every week so we can check to make sure its not infected!"
I'm a Canadian and can honestly say I have found myself thanking GOD that I live here and have access to the quality care. The woman who did that message is either an isolated incident, or she was leaned on by some insurance company with a fat wallet. If you need help here, you get it, simple as that.
Am I the only one who is surprised by how much time these guys are being allowed to talk? I'm so used to American TV where any response longer than 15 seconds is promptly cut off by the anchor of the show. Is this indicative of all canadian TV news shows, or is it just this one?
@Derpasherpala I'm actually not sure. I know there is often a lot less yelling and interrupting on Canadian television and radio. When I first watched Fox news I shocked and was left wondering why they even bother bringing guests on if they're not going to allow them to talk. But I don't watch much broadcast TV these days.
Danielle is simply annoying and acting as a salesman....... those tricks don't work on well-educated citizens but maybe on some people that live in a bubble. Where did they find this speaker. Simply a "well-spoken" speaker who promises mountains of gold.
Why is Dr. Danielle lying? Don't tell me there are no waiting times? I had to wait 3 months to see a dermatologist when I was concerned about a mole that could have been cancerous. My friend waited 1 + year to see a cardiologist. That's reality. Canadians ARE dying for lack of care caused by ridiculous waiting times.
@bomberfun1 How is she lying?? She never denies there aren't wait times, nor that Canada doesn't need to make improvements to the system. What she said that if she recognizes the need for one of her patients to be seen by a specialist much fast than 3 months, she can pick up the phone and make the case and get them in faster.
To say that Canadians are dying for lack of care is simply not true. At least when you compare to the U.S. that results in 45,000 deaths/year due to poor access.
I see your point, but I don't understand why you are defending this person if in reality waiting times are extremely long for cases that can be life threatening and who is the doctor to decide what is urgent and what isn't, everyone deserves treatment.
@bomberfun1 I'm sorry, in reality wait times 'can' be longer for elective, non-emergency situations. However, the VAST majority of Canadians receive true emergency care very timely.
As far as who is the doctor to decide? That is there job as a family doctor. If one patient needs an MRI for a sore knee, and another for massive, daily headaches, they have to make that call to get one they would consider more life threatening. THe more needed care is seen first.
24:00 Because of lack of health care, 45,000 Americans die every year. Mr. Baker needs to be less misleading and answer the questions with general statistics. Mr. Baker says the Canadian system "murders"... he is wrong; the Canadian system saves. If that budget that is used by the Canadian government to save lives would be given to an unregulated private industry like in the US, many more Canadians would be "murdered".
why do most death occur in hospitals...number 1 cause of death here...better off to fire ur doctor

1:59 That's because most Canadians don't get brain tumors, you dumb cunt. Listen to her voice shaking, she knows she's an apologist.
2:25. Ahhh, precisely. It's up to the government, not her, what she needed. What a joke.
I honestly can't believe you all defend such a piece of shit system.

@bweazel Babies die sometime??? Really?? That's your comeback. Tell that to the parent who lost that child you idiot.
And no shit your having more babies, your 10 x our population you fucking twit. FUck you are dense. Try per capita dipshit.
Total population comparisons are not proper you moron!!! There are those brilliant math skills of yours again.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 No, dude. That's not my comeback. I said with 45,000,000 uninsured people, we are bound to have more infants die than you. With 300,000,000 people, we have more babies, thus, more die. Do you understand? Do you see now why you're an idiot for continuing to use statistics to support your healthcare system? I would say that to a parent who lost a child, and if they took good care of themselves while pregnant, they would agree. It happens sometimes, nothing can be done to stop it.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel You just said, because you have 45,000,000 not insured is precisely why are numbers are better and our access is better. YOUR SYSTEM SUCKS!!! You are just blinded by your own stupidity to see it. Wow, just wow!!!
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Listen, bro. Our healthcare system kicks the ever living shit out of yours, we have more operating rooms, better and more modern equipment, and more of it. You all have to ration your care, and people have to wait in line to use the OR's and equipment.
Now, our insurance system. Sure, it's a bit fishy and a bit expensive. But when it has to pay for the type of health system we have, ya, it's acceptable. Again, we don't have to wait four years if we have a donor. You do.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel It kicks the living shit out of yours, yet studies show otherwise. I said if all you have is your ignorant opinion then FUCK OFF.
You CLEARLY have no FUCKING clue how our system works, but I have a clear and concise understanding that more equiment does not mean more access or better access.
You don't have more modern equipment. I know this because I FUCKING LIVE HERE.
Now when you want to get out of your ass backward state & visit me I'll show you what we have.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 There's not much you need to know about your system. Remove all the nationalistic bullshit and the Canadian pride, and you're left with rationed care. So the testimony from my family friend is me having no idea how Canadian healthcare works? Ok. Seems like you are cherry picking. Ummm, yes, we do, you know, since most of it is invented here, we usually test it out first. Not only that, we have more of it. Again, you all ration your care, yes, that includes equipment purchases.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel I'm cherry picking?? That's all you have done is cherry pick and throw out one anedotal story then provide additional bullshit on it.. I provide hard number facts YOU FUCKING IGNORE. Nice. Keep posting. You just keep burying yourself.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 All your stats you kept throwing around, yes, cherry picking. How is calling rationed care what it is, cherry picking? God damn, so annoying to talk to Canadians. It's like a country full of men with tiny dick syndrome.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Statisticas tell you what the TRUE story is, not anecdotes and opinions. If that's all you have then fuck off dude. I'm getting tired of burying you with FACTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 No statistics are just statistics, and they change for each environment. For you to behave like you statistics, with your 30,000,000 insured people is the same as statistics from a group of 300,000,000, 45,000,000 which are uninsured, then I think you're an idiot. Actually. I think you know you are an idiot, it's just that Canadian pride that keeps pushing you to make these idiotic statements. Rationed care sucks, period. You cannot beat a private, free choice system. Period.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel An idiot is someone who ignores stats and studies that show WE have better healthcare outcomes, WE have better access to care, ALL of us our covered, WE have better choice, WE never have to worry about losing our jobs along with our insurance, WE will never go bankrupt over a hospital. Pride has nothing to do with it. PERIOD!!
Wake the fuck UP!!!!
People who aren't getting care AREN"T in the stats you twit.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Per capita? Haha, ok, let me explain it to you this way, since you guys are a bit more dumb up north. You all had 300,000 babies born last year, we had 4.3 million. Now, with those numbers out there, do you think it is a higher chance that you will have more mothers that drink, smoke, or otherwise disregard their pregnancy in the smaller group, or do you think the larger group would have more of those? Come on.... think real hard on this one you ignorant Canadian fuck. Think....
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Of course you'll have more, YOU HAVE A BIGGER POPULATION. You don't understand per centages and per capitas..do you?? Honestly, you have to be one of the densest people I've ever come across on here. On a percapita basis or percentage, we would proprotionally have similar numbers to you. How you don't get that is MIND BOGGLING.
Stop wasting my time.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Seriously. You might as well just reduce it down this. One healthy Canadian woman vs. 14 random American women. The Canadian has a healthy baby, now, what are the chances the other 14 women will be as healthy? Do you see why you're being a complete retard? Don't compare yourselves to us, you are not us, you are no where close to us. We support you and enable you to have the system you do. God damn.... I can't wait til we abolish NAFTA and get you leeches off of our tit.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Now you are now saying you support us?? Really?? Are you that much of an egotistical ignorant FUCK?? Nevermind, everyone single one of your posts already prove that.
Really dude, this is fun.
We have the system we do through OUR TAXES, not yours dipshit. Take your fat head out of your ass already.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Where did I say I support Canada's rationed care system? I've said over and over again, I do not support rationed healthcare. I'm not sure what idiot would. You would have to be a prideful, nationalistic putz (Canadians are both) to not admit that rationing care is not a good way to deliver care. Delivering care when it is needed is clearly a better way. Do some people get left out? Sure, but perhaps they should have chipped in and gotten insurance if it was important to them, eh?
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Where did I say you support it? Twit.
We don't ration care. We have wait times for non-urgent care. Your system, AGAIN, rations by eliminating MILLIONS of the que. You are just TOO FUCKING STUPID to know that.
I hope you never lose your insurance, assuming you have it.
Nice system.

@Beartit69 "@bweazel Now you are now saying you support us?? Really??" What's this twit?
bweazel 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Ok, so what serious surgery have you had up there then? If you know so much about it. Can you give me a testimony like the one I've given you? Can you explain to me why he had to wait four years with a donor? Please, I'll wait. Explain.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel I don't believe he waited 4 years after finding a donor. I work in the Pharma industry, and I'm in and out of hospitals across the country. My wife did the same thing, calling on Nephrologists (kidney). I know for a FACT we don't wait once a donor is found. Live or dead.
For me, let's see. 3 broken bones, all fixed right away. My lung collapsed, brought in right away, life saved. My wife needed emerg. c-section, got it, her life saved and my daughters.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 And you don't think that would have happened in the USA? Haha, ok. You're right. We leave pregnant mothers on the road to die. I see bums with broken bones all the time. As a matter of fact, I don't know a single person walking around that has some serious malfunction with their body that they're living with due to not being able to get care. We get it. Either you pay for it, and you get the best of care, or you sell yourself down to poverty, and you get a Canadian type system.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Dude, you have people forgoing needed cancer treatment so spare us your ignorance of your own system. This comes right from the head of American Cancer Society. Guess how many??? Nearly a million, so spare me your out right ignorance not only of our system but your own. Want the link??
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Who? Where are these people? Do you know them? Good care is expensive... not everyone can afford the best.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Who are they?? Friends and relatives. I'd continue, but at 500 character limits, I'd be posting for a while. Again, I'll put my money where my mouth is. Get on a plane and I'll show you around hospitals in SW Ontario. Because of my job, I have access to hospitals throughout the region.
Look, I don't care if you don't want our system, that's up to you. But stop spewing shit you about something you clearly have a blinded view of because of your position on the subject. Fair enough?
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Well hopefully you're job doesn't get you and your family in quicker than someone that doesn't work for the health "industry"..... is it ok to call you guys an industry?
Oh, so stop spewing a story about a Canadian that was screwed over by your piece of shit system? No thanks, I'll keep telling the story, because you guys don't seem to want to.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel You can tell your 'story'. That's all fucks like you have. Anecdotal stories that mean SWEET FUCK ALL. Nice. Good for you.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 So no serious surgeries though? Ok, just checking. Cutting and sewing are not serious surgeries. I'm going to talk with him some more, don't you worry, I'll be back to let you know why your rationed healthcare system failed him so badly. By the way, he developed many other problems waiting so long too.
Not sure why you're trying to play like no one waits in Canada. You can find plenty of Canadians that will say exactly the opposite.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Cancer is not serious? My mom would have died if she didn't go into surgery right away. I would have died without my intervention, as would my wife. My uncle received immediate bypass surgery. There are countless other cases. You just don't get it.
And I never said 100% of us have no complaints. No system is perfect. But ours serves everyone at a far less cost.
Again, hop on a plane and I'll show you.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Couldn't care less about your mom. Yes, you all receive emergency care. So do we, what's your point?
Yes, far less cost, because you ration care. Good for you. Ours is expensive because we pay for what we get. Do you understand? Crossing the border into Canada does not suddenly make these things less expensive. Cost the same as they do here, instead you all have one machine thousands of people share, while we have about twenty machines a hundred or so people use. Do you get it?
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel You don't served 45 million people and we ration?? They don't even count in your costs. You spend 16% of GDP on your system and don't even come close to covering everyone. We spend 10% and cover EVERYONE.
You pay for what you get??? 45 million people get JACK SHIT!!! And that's better??
And yes, operations, hospital beds, do cost less when you cross the border. Those are FACTS, not opinion. Which is all you have.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 They choose not to be insured, you know, that whole freedom thing? They could afford it if they wanted it. If you are in poverty, you are entitled to medicare, if you're not in poverty, then it's up to you. Personally, I don't feel that bad for those 45 million who by their own choice, have chosen not to purchase health insurance.
No no, we don't spend GDP on things, that's you all. Our GDP is reflective of what we produce. Honestly, try a free market, you might actually like it.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel They choose not to?? Did you ask them?
I know how youre medicare and medicaide system works. Despite them, you still have MILLIONS that can't afford insurance. Not to mention the MILLIONS more that are underinsured. Meaning, their deductibles are sooooo high, they can't afford to go see their doc because of the high copays, deductibles etc. that our system DOES NOT HAVE.
I like a free market for stereo equipment, not healthcare. Try Somalia, they have a great free market.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@bweazel So your "friend" waited 4 years, I didn't say it wasn't true. I pointed out you wait JUST as long or LONGER in the States. I also looked up mortality rates while waiting. In Canada, 6% of those waiting for a kidney transplant die, while 46% die in the U.S. Want the links?
They don't pay for it their whole life??? Its called bankruptcy sunshine or a bank load to pay for their surgery. Ask them how long they pay for it. And our taxes aren't much more than yours.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 And I'm pointing out to you, no it's not if you have a donor and insurance. You will get in that day if you want. Because we actually have operating rooms, you know, private business, that kinda stuff. You guys have to ration care to make it work. You guys have to make some guy that has kidney disease wait four years in pain so everyone can feel good about having equal care. Fuck that. Fuck that. Fuck that. Read it one more time. Fuck that.
Sure, send the links.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel you are a sucker. You keep saying ration care yet IGNORE those 45 million who just DON'T get care AT ALL. That isn't rationing?? Fuck man, WAKE UP. And they don't just get a kidney right away you twit, there has to be a DONOR! Hello?
You guys wait longer on average for a kidney transplant. What part of that don't you understand. Not to mention you are FAR more likely to DIE in the U.S. while waiting for that transplant than we are. Private care has NOTHING to do with it.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 If your entire country is covered, and you're only months above us in lifespan, that's really not something you should be using as a positive for the Canadian health system. We have 45 million people uninsured, you have your entire country insured and supposedly they have access to care, and you're pretty much exactly even with us in infant mortality, lifespan, etc. Yaaa! Go Canada! Good job!
bweazel 3 months ago
Your healthcare system is a piece of shit. You know it, we know it. You keep your rationed care, we'll keep our private medicine. Four years for a kidney transplant? From someone who already had a donor? Fuck that, and fuck you Canada. If you think that is acceptable healthcare, I feel sorry for you all.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel I guess you don't research before posting shit.
"On average, wait time nationally for a deceased-donor kidney is four to five years, but in some states it is more than seven."
The difference though. It won't cost our donor recipients a dime to get their transplant. The same can not be said on your system. Fuck that!!!
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 It was his wife, she was willing to donate from day one, they had to wait four years for a surgery room. That's how rationed your care is up there. That would have never happened in the States. If you have the money and a donor, you're in, same day. Not four years after the fact. This was not a guy that was on a waiting list, I'll say again, he had a donor from DAY ONE. Waiting as long as he did caused him other health problems too. Again... Go Canada! Great healthcare! Wooo!
bweazel 3 months ago
@Beartit69 The difference is that if you have the money, you will live. Yes. Fuck that? Hahah, ok. Personally, I'd say fuck being a successful person, paying for the rest of the country, and having to wait in line. Fuck that!!! That's why they all end up coming down here to get their surgeries. Because they can afford it. Probably end up moving down here too after that, because they're sick of paying for some rationed bullshit that doesn't even help them when they really need it.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel You see, but we DON"T come down 'there' to get healthcare. Very, very, very few Canadians go south for care. Read the study Phantoms in the SNow, which concluded that Canadians going south for care is like a tip with no iceburg. While 750,000 Americans went abroad for care in 2007 because they couldn't afford their treatment at home. The number was predicted to go into the millions last year. Very telling.
Again, the ultimate in wait time and rationing is FOREVER!!!
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 You don't, no. Probably because you can't afford it. Successful people in your country do though.
Let me break it down for you this way. We pay so much down here for it, because there are so many operating rooms, and they're all equipped to the teeth. You all don't pay alot up there, because you ration. If you think that is a superior system to freedom of choice, I call you a dumb ass Canadian that has too much pride to admit his country got it wrong.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel I am successful sunshine. I make $150 G's/year and my wife makes nearly that much. We wouldn't give up our system EVER for yours. And neither would 90% of our country.
We have freedom of choice, that you don't have.
Our insurance works with EVERY doctor, in EVERY hosptial across the country. The same CAN NOT be said on your insurance run system. YOu are stricted on hospitals you can go to, or they won't cover you. Nice system
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Say that when you get kidney disease and your wife is willing to donate your kidney, and you might die in the waiting period. Let's see how much you love your system when you actually need it to work for you. You do not have freedom of choice, your money is taken from you, and you receive rationed care in return. Here, we pay a higher price, but we choose who we go to, when we go to them, and we get our attention instantly, if you pay for it.
If you pay, it works anywhere.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel If my wife is williing to donate her kidney, we get the operation right away you numb nut. We don't wait. The four year wait is for a donor that has DIED!!!!!!!!!!!! Fuck you are stupid.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Strange, because the Canadian I know says completely the opposite of you. He had a donor from day one and still had to wait four years to get his surgery.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel COMPLETE BULLSHIT> A friend of mine has a donor and getting the operation in 3 weeks.

@Beartit69 Ummm, sorry to burst your bubble. It's not complete bullshit. Why do I get the feeling you're full of shit? What is wrong with him?
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel My mother needed life saving bowel surgery, got it, life saved. My father. 2 hip replacement surgeries. Next door neighbours, both cancer, both treated and in remission. I could go on, as the list continues.
We don't wait for urgent surgeries. We wait for elective surgeries like hip replacement, but we ALL get them. Unlike your system. WAKE THE FUCK UP!!!!!!!!!!!
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Jesus christ, chill the fuck out you idiot.
Ya? Same thing here, man. Emergency care is available for everyone. Meaning if someone comes to you about to die, you cannot deny them care even if they are uninsured. So... unlike my system? Ok, keep tugging on that tiny Canadian cock of yours, maybe it will get bigger ;)
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel ER care is available for everyone but not for free. Cancer care is not emergency, that is why nearly a million of your countrymen go without treatment for it. That's better??? How??
Not only that, what you co-pays, deductibles, etc?
And its hard not to 'chill the fuck out' when I'm dealing with an idiot whose comeback is talking about my cock. Spare me. Nice debating skills.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 Reasonable. It's called a free market. Perhaps you all should give it a try. Oh wait.... no... that takes effort and risk, better count you all out of that one. You're dealing with a person that thinks rationing care is a piss poor way to deliver care to people.
I never talked about your cock specifically (although I guess you could argue I did), just saying most Canadian men act like they have a tiny one, so defensive, so nationalistic, always typing in all caps, etc.
bweazel 3 months ago
@bweazel Free market has resulted in inflated prices for your system. Its anything but free for you. Why would we want a system that leaves MILLIONS not being able to access it? Fucking IDIOT!!!
And you didn't talk about my cock?? SHould I repost your crap?? You don't even know what you write, that's how stupid you are.
Beartit69 3 months ago
@Beartit69 ....? Who said anything about free? Again, that's you all. Down here, we are a bit more realistic. We realize there's no free lunch, and we pay our own way. You all pile on top of each others backs then pat yourselves on the back for your half ass rationed care. Good for you
This conversation is getting old. Can't argue with Canadians.

@Beartit69 I do, I said your Canadian cock. Yes, I said your, but I was still referring to my older post talking about general Canadian tiny penises. 07, 2010.

charged220 9 months ago
@charged220 ,,,,it was a lot more than $67.50 in my case, some assessments by workers comp rewarded the specialists with over $500 for a 1 hr consultation; None of these assessments diagnosed my injury; In wcb assessments, a physician / chiropracter / physical therapist / psychologist, were paid $2000 dollars out of the wcb fund to help with my rehabilitation, not 1 diagnostic test was ordered, even though previous x-rays raised question with regards to my 2 spinal injuries;

Am I the only one who is surprised by how much time these guys are being allowed to talk? I'm so used to American TV where any response longer than 15 seconds is promptly cut off by the anchor of the show. Is this indicative of all canadian TV news shows, or is it just this one?
Derpasherpala 1 year ago
@Derpasherpala I'm actually not sure. I know there is often a lot less yelling and interrupting on Canadian television and radio. When I first watched Fox news I shocked and was left wondering why they even bother bringing guests on if they're not going to allow them to talk. But I don't watch much broadcast TV these days.

Danielle is simply annoying and acting as a salesman....... those tricks don't work on well-educated citizens but maybe on some people that live in a bubble. Where did they find this speaker. Simply a "well-spoken" speaker who promises mountains of gold.
bomberfun1 2 years ago
Why is Dr. Danielle lying? Don't tell me there are no waiting times? I had to wait 3 months to see a dermatologist when I was concerned about a mole that could have been cancerous. My friend waited 1 + year to see a cardiologist. That's reality. Canadians ARE dying for lack of care caused by ridiculous waiting times.
bomberfun1 2 years ago
@bomberfun1 How is she lying?? She never denies there aren't wait times, nor that Canada doesn't need to make improvements to the system. What she said that if she recognizes the need for one of her patients to be seen by a specialist much fast than 3 months, she can pick up the phone and make the case and get them in faster.
To say that Canadians are dying for lack of care is simply not true. At least when you compare to the U.S. that results in 45,000 deaths/year due to poor access.
MadHabber93 2 years ago
I see your point, but I don't understand why you are defending this person if in reality waiting times are extremely long for cases that can be life threatening and who is the doctor to decide what is urgent and what isn't, everyone deserves treatment.
bomberfun1 2 years ago
@bomberfun1 I'm sorry, in reality wait times 'can' be longer for elective, non-emergency situations. However, the VAST majority of Canadians receive true emergency care very timely.
As far as who is the doctor to decide? That is there job as a family doctor. If one patient needs an MRI for a sore knee, and another for massive, daily headaches, they have to make that call to get one they would consider more life threatening. THe more needed care is seen first.
MadHabber93 2 years ago 2
of course not all Canadians don't have to wait but those that do it's a life or death issue.
floridaboy1700 2 years ago
24:00 Because of lack of health care, 45,000 Americans die every year. Mr. Baker needs to be less misleading and answer the questions with general statistics. Mr. Baker says the Canadian system "murders"... he is wrong; the Canadian system saves. If that budget that is used by the Canadian government to save lives would be given to an unregulated private industry like in the US, many more Canadians would be "murdered".
