  • @TheCarlaandKatieShow yehh its john....jeez i hope mr doherty seee this!!!

  • It's great to see you've found this art project useful for your science project but I'm disappointed that you did not credit the artist who created this.

The artist is Bettina Furnee and the project is "Lines of Defence". On ifever.org.uk is an HD version, film version (that has been shown in various galleries) and the original hi-res images. Credit should also go to Simon Frazer for the words and Dylan Banarse for the digital time-lapse photography and Sarah Bateman for web site.

  • Nice job we can see the evolution of this land.

  • hi mr dohertty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @MongoDePrito Do you go to St.Richards?? Cause he is my hums teacher!! well was but we broke up from school today :L

  • woo ::)

    (: Ugziee. :)

  • science teacher showed this

  • I showed this to my class who are studying coasts in Geography, and it was a great resource to show coastal erosion - excellent work! :)

  • You should take in mind that this footage shows erosion of this particular mixture of materials. It looks like pretty soft material to me, like clay. If you've got a hard rock coast, the erosion process is a lot slower.

  • @Rc1290Dreadnought of course it becomes a lot slower

  • Your comment shows that you do not have a single idea how the whole process of erosion AND DEPOSITION works.....

  • well Im not a super-expert thats true; but the film above shows clearly to me that it happens rapidly. And this is not the only erosion situation on this planet that happens very rapidly.

  • but thing is this type of erosion is not the only one there is erosion due to rivers as well and i made some movies about that on my own account about sediments and missing delta;s. thing is that geological processes are more rapid than regular science admits; this shows that the times of history are different thatn people think it is; billions of yrs shrink to just a coulple of 1000 of yrs. I have no problem with that; do you ?

  • but not being a super expert doesnt mean that one cant figure things out for himself and if I see that world wide this fenomena is taking place then it rises some serious question about what regular science want to put across to you and me; things that are simply not true: world wide coastalerosion shows that continents are not as old as science claims they are; they simply can't be. coasts are eroding way much faster than continents are claimed to be old. they're not milions of yrs old cant be

  • Best timelapse educational video ! It's cool !

  • WoW great quality... i really dont care abot this... but i like the song...Who is it by and wats it called???

  • the song is called "Count yourself in"

  • nice one but useless 2 watch it in lq but its quite good at HQ. what is exactly wrote with the flags???

  • great video

  • Awesome video, framkid!

May I ask what you do for a living? Student maybe?

  • You did an awesome job. I loved it. You helped me understand erosion & deposition more for my test on friday. :D

  • How much money did the project cost? REally good, opened my eyes to how much erosion affects us. I've shown my class this, and they are interested, but the quality of the video made it difficult to see.

  • yeah 987 million years isnt that old lol

  • this planet cannot be so old!!!

  • wow how long did this project take?

  • 1 year, read the stuff in the video at the end next time . .

  • 1 year

  • Amazing. Nice work, thanks for posting.

  • wow awesome project :)

  • what is this song It is cool

  • gr8 vid, i am so using this for my ICT project!

Did the flags just fall off the cliff when the waves eroded the rock?

  • ya my science teacher showed us this video in class and we had to write how that happened

  • Awesome songg :D

I have a test on this tomorrow xD

  • whats the song called to this?

  • Artist: Ten Second Epic

    Song: Count Yourself In

    :)

  • I'm assuming this was an independent project? Otherwise, how on earth did you have a year to turn it in? :-) Great video.

  • Song:

    Artist: Ten Second Epic

    Song: Count Yourself In

    Album: Count Yourself In 2006

  • Excelente animación, muy buen trabajo.

  • great song

  • my teacher miss mielke showed it to us

  • We had to do a project on a topic and my friend used this video it was so awesome. I was wondering what the song is??

  • You should upload a slower version...with the same pictures, but slowed down---each shot a second or so. The contrast between the light pictures and the dark pictures makes it difficult to watch. But a really good effort.

  • song?

  • My Gr 4 science teacher showed it to us, we all enjoyed it ; ]

  • i'm using this for my erosion project!!!! it's PERFECTTT!!!

  • sick song

  • Awesome, Marvellous. Nice song. My teacher showed to us too =]. But he's gone, he's no longer teaching us. Awesome teacher - Mr Tan Jian Hui. =D
