  • i love you davey :) your always so positive, although im a straight woman i really admire your bravery of telling your parents at 17 and understanding while they took time to deal with it. Personally if i was a lesbian i know it would truly not matter to my mum but i would be terrified about my dad. I love how true and forgiving you are even though you`ve had a hard time :) love you davey wavey xxx

  • lmao the whole priest thing seems hilarious

  • Wow that's exactly how my mom chose to react when I came out!!! -jack

  • I wonder if this guy will suck my dick?

  • I'm stry I can't help but wonder are you a guy or a girl yeah yeah Ik yours a guy but I mean like mentaly or what ever cus you act like a guy but you act like a girl too perfect blend I gess :3

  • that is so sad ..

    i cried .

but you are super HOT :))

  • do you have to look so hot? it's hot i mean hard to concentrate on what you're saying.

  • @buttersyrupnpancakes

    i know right hahaha

  • oh is he ?

  • I think it's normal for parents to need a little time to get used to the fact that their children are gay. We tend to think that they should just accept it, and they should accept it but when you think of how long it takes some of us to come to terms with it ourselves I think giving our parents some time to adjust is not only charitable but required. I mean it took me 2 years just to admit it to myself and 2 more years to admit it to someone else

  • davy wavy!!! i saw you on "life in a day"!!! i was so excited! :D

  • I love you

  • You're so cute haha "noo we have to play 20 questions!"

  • Well I woke up really early in the morning and my mom thought I was sad and asked what was wrong so I Asked "Is there any gay members of our family" She said "Yes Actually I have a gay cousin named Brian" Which made me soooo relieved it was from her side so then I said "What if I told you that I was gay right now?" And she said "Then I would say ok" So then I said "Well I am" Then I Started crying! Not Her me! And I ran upstairs, got my stuff, and went to school. And of course I cried every hour

  • @TheMhnkuhnkuh aww that's a sweet story...and you're very lucky to have a loving mother who you felt you could talk to about it. love her to death!

  • @jchaps20 Yea thats what you think haha!

  • I'm a bisexual male who has been recently struggling between bisexuality and homosexuality. I have told one person about this. By the time I get to decide that "you know what, I'm gay", I picture in my head my mom's reaction, my girlfriend's reaction, and my best friend who is in love with me's reaction, and decide to stay bisexual...and try to shove down the homosexuality. I am definitely more attracted to boys than I am to girls. Running out of room, I guess YouTube wants me to stop ranting.

  • Davey Wavey:

I can't imagine that there's any person on earth who would assume that you WEREN"T gay. You're rather flaming.

  • Why is every damn video in the related video about Penises!?

  • davey, im a 15 year old girl..

i have not yet come out to anyone but my bestfriend as the bisexual girl i am, but you make my everyday so much easier to get through. thank you :)

  • i remember my best friend laughed and said i no in this really sugestive voice makes me think he knows just who exactly was making out with his brother at are spring fling

  • Comment removed

  • SIMPLY TRUE & AWESOME!

  • I went to my first gay bar and ran into my older sister's gay best friend. Then I was like, "well f*ck it, I might as well tell everyone." So I did. Yay!

All my mom said was, "Yeah, we all kinda figured."

  • @brainykid800 LOL that's hilarious!

  • although you are smiling all the times. when turn into the part about your parent., i can see you are trying to be stronger and proud to be a son. you are a good person. :)

  • 2:59 OMG I swear you where going to kiss him back, I would have kiss back. XD

Well, if you never come out you will never be discriminated, but I guess is harder for homosexuals to hide their sexual orientation.

  • No one fucking cares. Attention whore.

  • That's sad that your mum cried etc. but seriously.

My mum: YESSS I CAN TAKE SOMEBODY SHOPPING WITH ME OH MY GOD TOMORROW WE'RE GOING.

My dad: Fine with me, doesn't make you any less of a person than you are, and don't let anybody tell you that it will.

  • @konanrocksmysocks wow ur you!parents had the perfect parents response! lucky

  • If you're in highschool, the best (or worst) way to come out if you wanna be open about it, is to tell the most gossip-savy person out of your friends. Then you don't have to deal with the rest of the school.

  • My best friend on new years day 2008, my parents 3 years later through email while I was in Spain. And everybody else in-between!

  • I know how it feel :)

  • If you have sex with strangers then you're a whore. If you suck dick in the toilet you're a whore. If the clinic knows your name, you're a whore.

    I ain't sayin' you're a whore but you're a whoooore *sing*

Oh sorry, I got distracted reading comments LOL

Thank you for your coming out story. I should add mine, soon.

  • @OliverLovesIt Crap I was a whore then, since I screwed everything I could when I was young!!!!!!!!!

  • @MrBenji44 Just in case you didn't know, this is a quote of a song by Sherry Vine ;-)

  • @OliverLovesIt Haha! I actually gathered that, I was joking in return.

  • I tried to tell my dad when i was 16. The first thing he said was "What did they do to you!" As if ..i was feeling the way I felt because someone had "converted me". I knew right then I couldn't tell him I loved someone because that was just awkward given what I just learned about his understanding.. I ended up weaseling out of it and we never discussed it again.

  • He had to come out? lol, he's so fem I'm sure everyone already knew!

  • im like in love with u man. ur so beautiful inside and out <3

  • Wow ;-) your such a beautiful soul

    Keep shining

  • @dancingfeathers Agreed! And a beautiful body, too! love that smile!

  • i tottally support gays....When i was 7 i found out my babysitter was gay and i was perfectly fine with it cause my uncle was gay yaa i feel bad for gays cause of how bad they get teased homo sexuals should not get teased just cause they like the same gender so i tottally support you it must be really hard like you said you dont just come out once!!!1

  • jjjeeeeeezz. i wish you werent gay! you are too hot!

  • @DeutschlandSiegHeil Ummm... Did you just say that lesbians are going through phases? I'll have you know that that's a really sexist and discriminatory comment to make. People like you are really, really ignorant.

  • When I first came out, it was to my cousin who I view as my twin sister. She was totally accepting of it and was actually really happy and wanted to take me shopping and all that because supposedly gay men know how to shop and stuff like that. Now my mom was harder because she started crying accusing me of being gay and then I told her and then the next day she told me she was only crying because she didn't want me to stay in Mexico with my BF.

  • This is a great book for people coming out:

Coming Out: An Act of Love by Rob Eichberg. you can find it on amazon.

    big love everyone!

  • I told my mum in burger king lol. Was really awkward, very long silence. Dont think she even had an inklin at all bless her. Came out at 18, im 20 now. My mums cool with it, she told my dad on the same day and he thought/ and still does think its a faze..that...ive had for 2 years...erm ok very long faze lol love them both loads though

  • To all the people who use the term Faggot; Gay; Lesbian; and other slurs as insults you should die.

  • WE LOVE YOU DAVEY...

your videos just make me smile :-))...

YOU'RE AND INSPERATION TO US ALL!!!

  • fucking bich! fuck you!

  • ok i know this is years old and you probably don't even make videos anymore but here's my coming out story.

first i told my friends. then over time told my sister. then over longer time told my brother and his wife (big mistake they ended up using me for their sick amusement.) so then i told them and asked if i could talk with jonie's (sister in law) cousin to just see about coming out. see how rough it was. after hearing his story i thought oh shit i'm not doin this but slipped up and did it

  • @MichaelSimmons8D anyways and so mom denied it dad got pissed (mainly because i was 14 and didn't know if i was or not) but he said all that mean shit bout god made adam and eve not adam and steve and aids and all that jizz. ok so after that they said that i haven't been with either sex so how could i know right? but anyways now they know that i'm probably gay or at least bisexual so now when i actually have proof they won't be so shocked. and that's always good.

  • Chipotle is ADORABLE!!!

  • This is like the adorable guy every girl wishes were straight...

  • @sk8terboi9011 And both of Jesus' fathers eternally hate the sin of homosexuality.

  • @mrchiefofsinners sure, Jesus and the Father hate every sin, not the sinner. that goes for unwed straight hos as well ;)

  • Jesus had two dads and he turned out fine

  • @sk8terboi9011 OH wow..

  • My mom had an idea but when she asked and i told her shed did not cry yet she has not heisted to tell me how disappointed she is in me.....

which is ironic because all my cousins are drop put yet I'm the first in my generation to graduate with honors, yet all she sees is that gay son. some times i think that she would have preferred a str8 serial killer rather than a gay professional.

  • @mmatoz212 What a shame, too bad what religion and old out-dated information does to peoples minds.

  • @MrBenji44

tell me about it i feel like i lost everything over something i can't control

  • @mmatoz212 No one can control what is innate, not unlike the left-handed person, he/she could eventually learn to use the opposite hand, but in reality they will always be a lefty.

  • @MrBenji44

    :)

this is the first time i talk about this it feels good to have some one hear me

  • @mmatoz212 I sent you a pm, good luck!

  • @MrBenji44 unfortunately...some body parts are a little more emotionally attached that just the use of a hand lol

  • @mmatoz212

If I were you, I wouldn't worry too much about it. I'm straight, and I'll never know what kind of struggles you went through, but one day it will get better. A few of my friends are gay and lesbian friends that now get along with their parents, it just takes time. So hang in there.

  • @ninjaman1915

    thanks :)

  • @mmatoz212 Give her some time. She is hurting you, I know. But its bloody hard to change perspective about some one you know that close.

  • @Ranokian Thanks

  • @mmatoz212 Hi... don't worry. I sometimes feel the same thing even if I had come out around 15 years ago. It hurts, and you should shed a tear or two to not let it build inside. But don't let it define who you are. Cheers.

  • @luckyuniversal

I won't i want more for my life than these i'm disappointed speeches can i ask you a question

does it really gets better or is this feeling forever when does it goes away?

  • @mmatoz212 I think it really doesn't depend on you. As my therapist says, the only thing we can control is our emotions or our 'thinking'. Positive thinking is an exercise, until it becomes a habit and then part of our character. Why I say this? Because my parents will always see me as the-daughter-they-love-even-if-she-is-gay-and-lives-with-that-woman-we-don't-like . And I can't control that. But I can control the way I see myself. Does the feeling go away?? No. Can you change it? Yes.

  • @luckyuniversal

    Thank you :)

  • @mmatoz212 well what a loss for her to miss out on all the proud feelings she should be having for you. Some people are so brainwashed by society that they'll let it ruin their lives, hope it doesn't make you feel bad in the process, cause you should be proud of yourself.

  • @jenny6676

Not yet but getting there this hole thing is a lot harder than i thought, no one warns you about the solitude.

  • @mmatoz212

Your mom's a cunt and not worth even caring what she thinks about you being gay.

Why don't you tell that bitch what a disappointment SHE is to YOU?????

Fuckin parents doing this shit all the time... they need a little reverse smack in the face (you know- like she's doing to you).

  • Why are you shirtless in all your videos? I'm not saying you should stop ;) but I'm just curious.

  • i'm a girl...but im not lezbian...im bisexual...still havent told my mom, my familys super religious and will not aprove..i think i'll live the rest of my life keeping it to myself

  • Age 16 was the time for me. i had known for 2 years and I was fed up with alienating myself from my family.

I wrote a letter. Heartfelt ad meaningful.

I put it on their bed then put myself to bed. So when they came up obviously they read the letter and all.

But after, Mum came over and lay on my bed next to me and gave me this massive hug and told me she loved me and Dad was fine with it to but the next day we had to talk about it which was ok and they love me for who I am.

  • @timtimterooo aww..that's very sweet. Im glad you were honest with yourself and able to find some way to communicate it to them..I know how awkward it is to have the right words..and the physical distance required when having "the talk" with a parent. Great job!

  • this is sad :(

  • Unconsciously you used a tecnique that doctors use to tell hard news! Make the person ask, and it will end up coming from its mouth! It's really effective for death news, bu idk if it works the same for coming out of the closet... Still haven't made it for my family...

  • Ermm.. at age 21 i decided its about time to sit my mom for a talk about this. Me and my family didnt mix that well before that time and i guess i just felt like "screw it, why not?". Anyway I sat her down in my room told her "mom im gay". She said "I thought so". Started crying etc... for her the big deal was that she wanted a grandchild that i would naturaly concieve. I told her its not a problem with todays technology and stuff.. anyway she still try's to shuv girls down my throat.. oh well

  • When I fearfully came out to my Dad he said, "Wow, it's a gift!" I didn't know then how right he was ... (How did he know?) ... but he changed my life forever that very moment. He's passed on now, but I thank him every day.

  • My Mom had the same reaction. Kudos to you for saying this you tube. Took me 33years to tell my parents!

  • hey davey

yeah that also happend to me when I came out to my mom when I was 18 years old she cried and asked me if I had a bf so I said yes and I also asked my mom please dont tell my dad so my mom said she would talk to him so he could come to terms with it so then evantualy my dad acceptd me I will never forget the day he accepted me being gay I nearly cried so ever since my dad and mom always love me no matter what happens even if some guy brakes my heart too.

  • I just want to say that I just recently started watching all your videos and I can't get enough but this is definitely my favorite I just love you and it just makes me think of all the people that have a harder time coming out and I just feel like you help make it easier for them. You're an inspiration :)

  • hey

  • God damn, it took your parents five years to accept you? So much time wasted on petty things in life I swear.

  • How many dogs do you have? :p

  • you should date my gay cousin Matt!!! he is lookin for a gay man so your the one who makes a good impression.. so here is the number if you want to call him

508-456-5677 he would love to hear from you

  • @1982whitemike Why would you put your cousin's number fully exposed on such a creepy site like YouTube? wow.

  • @TheTechnoTurtle dude it's a fake number!! can anyone take a joke!! i made it up

  • @MoronShooter fuck you it's racist biggies like you who are going to burn in hell

  • @MoronShooter well since im gay and that makes me go to hell.....i guess ill keep a seat warm for u since your a asshole who will also be going to hell ^_^ love ya byeeeee :D

  • @Project1Moon MAN I WOULD NEVER COMME 50 FEET NEER YOU!!!

    FAGGOT!!

  • @MoronShooter i love u too why dont you and me go in the closet and never come out <3

  • @Project1Moon WHY DON'T I SHOOT YOU IN THAT GAY ASS FACE OF YOURS!!

  • @MoronShooter LOL sounds like he comes out on the winning side of that promise. ;)

  • @persie963 me to i havent come out yet u wanna be friends

  • @waxonify As, I'm sure, is no easier to prove that heterosexuals are "born that way"..as Sylvia Browne and many others see it I'm sure, it's as much a part of someone as their eye color. It is what it is.

  • i dont like any person i like sheep

  • Y do u always do ur vids topless?

  • @pigheather to show off his body

  • @pigheather If you watch his first video ever, he says he does not like wearing shirts.

  • oh ya my coming out story is... Well I was at this super amazing fun party and I drank the most I had ever drank in my entire life. And when I drink I get super loving and close with people...

So yeah I pretty much just started telling all my family that I was gay and then I threw up and blacked out. Half the night was a blurr and I didn't even know I told certain people. But it was one of the best nights.... Was really really fun up until i started feeling sick.

  • aw.. that was really good. I can understand why your loved ones would be sad. I remember my sister was crying but is okay with it now. She said that she always imagined me with like a wife and a family and stuff. And.. honestly it is kind of a sad thing. Just to know that someone is gay that I am close to you see all the hardship that they have to had gone through and how difficult it can make life.

    Great video!

  • i came out of the closet as a lesbian four years ago, i'm almost 16 now, and my mom still does not believe me

  • @SassyMothaFlipper My parents dont believe im a bisexual because they think im just wanting attention andn im confused, which i definetly know what i want. So i know where your coming from :)

  • @lovejoshramsay1

    Lol nah its cool XD

  • @lovejoshramsay1 I know of a couple of Transgendered people, they are great people.

  • Omg!! You were so brave! I hope that I'm as brave as u!

  • @lovejoshramsay1

    what about the transgenders? :p

  • I am not particularly fond of gay people but this discrimination they face is cruel; why should you faced with a hard-life, being a good person, simply for being part of a statistical aberration of human behavior? there's plenty of other kinds of aberrations like that and also mainstream bad things people do that are a lot worse; stupid primitive world we live in

  • lame..

  • @lovejoshramsay1 Cus' actually, there is straight cute guys..):

  • @lovejoshramsay1 Thanks..

    Sincerly, Straight Cute Guys

  • I just want to tell you. You are awesome!

There is literally only 2 things i have against gay guys

1: So many of them are cute and are like that chocolate cookie you can never have

2: I am attracted to gay guys and try to flirt with them.. I find out they are gay afterwards so I basically just embarass myself

  • @Theatregal14 if you didnt behave like a whore flirting with random guys.. (and mulitple faggots) you mind find some self respect.

  • @waxonify You don't have to troll all over youtube, and to be a "whore" I actually have to do something with guys, but I am innocent in ways of men. Oh, and fyi, I do respect myself and my body which is why I am still a virgin and am waiting till marriage.

  • @Theatregal14 :Virgin?Me,too. I don't get why many many ppl going crazy over others' sex life: You're a virgin?LOL. You're gay? Eww... I mean these trolls must be seriously insecure ;)

  • @uyenst ummmmm? That didn't really make sence... and I am not a troll because i always like sending positive messages to people. And I am straight but have nothing against gays.

  • @Theatregal14 :I didn't mean you, when I said trolls I meant the one who called you a whore :(

  • @uyenst haha oh I'm sorry uyenst!! haha I was a little cofused for a while... :)

  • @waxonify Geez... no need to be this mean. She didn´t say anything wrong

  • @DBPboarding I'm a straight woman, but you know what? Wish you the same.

  • @hunvamp very well said, thank you and I completely agree! lol

  • @DBPboarding - So, based on your comment...are we to assume that you're into gay, mutilated necrophilia? "Fuck em"? Really kind of a mixed message... or is it? Hmmmmm.

  • @DBPboarding Fuck them before or after? Lol. Intresting

  • @lovejoshramsay I KNOW RIGHT!!! It's like "your really cuute.." "im also gay" and then your thinking to yourself DAMN!

  • @lovejoshramsay1 because all straight guys never want to be cute : P

  • the first person i came out to was a gay friend of mine. i knew this was gonna be quite easy because i knew he would understand but...... he didn't believe me. well im not the most obvious gay guy. but back to the subject i was shaking like crazy. i was sweating and incredibly nervous. i know to much information but just painting the picture. he id not reply so i had to tell another friend to tell him to reply. BTW i did this over Facebook so kind of awkward. do it to there face it is easier.

  • @josh98981 The first person I came out to was my 'adopted' son, the 2nd was my gay friend Eric, the 3rd was my pal lesbian friend bartender. I have not come out any further then that, and it is over 45 years that I had, as I knew since I was 8 years old. I never told my mother, my brothers, nor my wife of 29 years. I didn't have the balls back then to 'come out' and took what 'society' expected of me. Much to my regret, I had at one time had a choice to travel down a path and see the divide.

  • Comment removed

  • @lovejoshramsay1 Aaw, this is so nice from you! :D Yepp, we gay guys seem to be very nice :P But many gays I know are only nice with people which they can stand, the other ones get killed with looks .. :P

  • Now a days I'm never shocked when someone comes out cause usually people know that you're gay/ I love my gay friends I don't know why people make a big deal about someones sexuality.

  • Coming out story?? come on everyone knew you were gay since a kid , but u really made me laugh LOL

  • I wish all straight guys were gorgeous like gay men :( dammit!!!!!

  • OMG i cried on this idk y i just did and my mom is seatin in a chair across fro mme while im watchin this i have my headfones on so she wont hear it and i accendtaly pulled it out wenn i went down to grab something so i hurried up to press pause i dont want her to no yet i am only 14 so u no idk if it is da rite time yet

  • @darkguy1509 if she loves you, she will give you time and will let you come out on your own terms at the time you feel most comfortable. =) Seems you don't have anything to worry about.

  • @lovejoshramsay1 Not at all. I think that almost nice men are straight. In Mexico, ALL THE men with great body, are straight. ABSOLUTELY.

  • @lovejoshramsay1 I'm gay, I'm not cute ;) Not every gay is cute. It hurts to read something like this.

  • I was one of the "toughies" at school and as so, I found it hard to tell anyone that I was gay. I finally told mates when I was early 20's, parents when I was mid 20's. I have been in Millitary for 15 years now and have come out of my final closet there too and after all these years, I have never had a really bad response.I only wish I had have lifted all that weight off my shoulders earlier. Now other gay/bi guys in the Millitary see that it is ok to come out.

  • lol im bi if my parents found out theyd kick me out but first abuse me <3 lol i came out to my friends though~ they rock x3

  • My brother is Gay i love him to death and if any one so much as puts a single scratch on him i will kill them.

  • @SuperAnthonysantos wow,..that sounds supportive. lol

  • cont. I warned that it could be shocking. I ran upstairs and came back later. We talked and she said are you sure and why don't you think girls are pretty (it was so awkward)? Thankfully my parents are atheists, really nice, and open-minded. At school, I was teasing my friends about who I liked and eventually told them. Thankfully, most didn't care at all and I've been way happier. Everyone at my school knew (I wore the LIKES BOYS shirt from Glee). Now, I will soon start HS.

  • Mines lame. We had a project called dinner party where we invite the top 8 people who have made us who we are (must be famous and can be dead). I LOVE Lady Gaga as she inspired me to be comfortable with who I am and has really let me show who I am (a crazy over the top gay nerd). My letter talked about how horrible being in the closet felt (I told my brother earlier by saying I'm the synonym of the word happy). My mom was really curious about what my letter said so I left it on the table and

  • Hey just wanted to say I love your videos! I myself have come out to a few people as well. My name is Kris and I'm gay, I have told all my friends and they all accept me and if crap hit the fan they would do anything to help. I came out to my parents and being the control freaks they are basically told me I can't be gay because they say so but I don't care. The same conversation came up later and we had a very long discussion which ended in my dad getting so mad he almost ht me.. But yea...than

  • U R lucky!! my mom & dad will kill me if they knew that i'm planning to be G*y and all of my family will never talk to me again and they will deny that i'm realted to them so i wanna be G*y but i can't be one unless i ran out the town and started a whole new life which i totally can't cuzz im a 12 years old boy :S

please tell me what to do ??

  • @MrCupcakeboy123 Hey, don't be afraid! It's a hard thing, that's understandable. And I'm sure your family will accept you. Don't be afraid about it! It's who you are and your family can't change that. ♥ You are amazing.

  • @BrooksOfficial Thank U so much BrooksOfficial for helping .

  • @MrCupcakeboy123 Errr....You're only 12 years old. Just live your kid-teenage years whatever. You don't really meet the first serious lovers until 20 years old I'd gather. If you see your parents always seem so stubborn you'll find ways to get further away from them as you move along and meet new people. Normally they'll be at least one person in your family soon or later who will support you. From there maybe the others will learn to, at least tolerate you. Don't let others decide your life.

  • @Neurozumim Thxx a lot for your help Neurozumim you are now one of my favorite YouTubers that i don't their names <3 <3 !!

  • @MrCupcakeboy123 No one plans to be gay, you either are or aren't, number one I'd say to you is be safe. If you feel a great risk in outting yourself, then wait until you are away at college, maybe even after graduating from college before telling the 'folks'. After all you are only 12 years old, you can wait another ten years.

  • @MrBenji44 But it's 10 years we are talkin' about it's impossible for someone to wait that long ( unless he is serial killer wants revenge ;p) but i will try to wait ( i'm not the typewho waits for anything :S ) Thnx a lot !! :) :D

  • @MuzikAuto I'm not gay. I just think it's fucked up when people like you say that it's unnatural. There should be room for everyone on this earth. Except the pope. That guy should seriously go jump off a cliff into lava while all the kids who were molested throw rocks in his face.

  • @MuzikAuto You're not really making any sense. Of course gay people would like to be treated like everyone else, wouldn't you? But you say that "normal" people don't like to see gay men kissing, straight couples are ok? I doubt very much I'd get through to any god. It's like a permanent "BBL" sign with those guys. And as for the pope: He's an evil man who condones child molesters and looks down on women and gay people. He's the only person I'd like to see shot. Preferably yesterday.

  • u're cute ...

  • I love you, your videos are so sweet. (: not to mention your voice is beautiful. I am in the middle of coming out. I am 13 my name is Noah(: I have told my best of friends and they have all been ok with it and they accept me. I haven't told my parents which it will he hard to do seeing as how my dad calls gays some pretty mean words. But watching your videos has made me more confident. And I will keep on watching them. I enjoy then a lot(:

  • @KidCatCrazy wow..your choice of words are very mature for a 13yo. Very well said. It sounds you will make great choices in your life. Just respect yourself and be true to yourself.

  • my mom or dad dident cry, but i did alot lol

  • you've got a beautiful voice!
