lol for some reason the guies with thahh long hair look pro at parkopur and if they have it in a ponytail it makes them look like ninjas!!! and parkour IS from point A to point B but you can make it more creatively like point A to B to C to D etc.. and freeruning is exacly the same thing but adding fluidity and flips just for fun.. haha hope this makes more sence about this movement.. have fun.

Parkour is a physical discaplinary tool of moving from point A to point B as quickly and efficiently as possible, by overcoming obsticles by vaulting, jumping, scaling, and other manuevers. A traceur is someone who practices parkour. Freerunning is just stunts and flips for fun. You can read up about a lot more if you just look at parkour on wikipedia website place :D

i wish people would stop callin this new. im 31, ive been doin this since the 4th grade with my brother and our friends. i never heard of anyone doin this before. im not sayin we started this, im saying that in my area noone was doin it before. 15 years later, some kid said he invented a new sport, freestyle walkin. i let him know about my past. i also did this on trees, im lanky, so its easy for me to jump or walk across. i hope to see videos of people doin that.

Parkour is Trying to get to Point A To point B in the shortest amount of by time going over, under, or through, obstacles using the least possible energy and without impeding your momentum or flow.

Free running is more flashy. Usually includes a lot more gymnastic abilities.
