Although not actually incorrect there is absolutely no need to stop the 2nd string at the third fret for the G chord. (D is already present at 4th string and B is part of G chord) I personally then prefer to play it using little finger on first string 2nd finger on 5th string at 2nd fret ring finger on 6th at 3rd fret, this leaves the pointer finger free for a smooth transition to a G7.. The four finger version is not suitable for beginners. and rarely (if ever) used by experienced players.
