i think he shouldve won. by far the better cut for finals. nonetheless though both performers were tremendous throughout entire tourney. i actually had 4 of the 6 finalist in the top 30 round so it was tough to break past these guys lol. but i think trevor was able to change piece up a little b4 finals because they competed in top 30. i thought they should've went 1 and 2 like Ali in DI
Anyone that knows: do the sections of this script where it says "Rona and Panch improvise with audience members" and things like that allow interpers to add any lines they want? I was just in this show, and there are a lot of lines that simply aren't in the script (i.e "Invisible House, and half of Mitch's lines). I actually like a lot of the stuff he added. I was just wondering how this avoided challenge.
@hwoodo94 mention sooo many HI kids ad-lib their funnier lines, if you challenge someone you put your own self in the spot to be challenged by other competitors.
I hit Trevor first on Octos, and we stayed together all the way through semi's, then when I was watching finals and he switched his words in the beginning about the whole Barfy-Barfay thing I couldn't breathe for like a whole minute. He was by far my favorite throughout the entire tournament and he deserved everything he got. Amazing.
Ahhhh finally! I competed against Trevor countless times and it was so exciting that he finaled. Even though he beat me to go to nats he deserved it sooo much. I do like his old cutting and characterization a little bit better than this video, but I'm still so happy for him.
I know this has nothing to do with the interp, but this guy is HOT! Especially at the end when he finished and they zoomed on his little smirk... Gosh that made me melt :)
I noticed that this guy substantially altered his performance from when I watched him in octas and sems. Pretty impressive that he changed his interpretation knowing that another performer was doing the same piece in finals!
so many people r doing the same piece....it like over and over again .... r they limited?? or what?

there was a rumor that this man got his script 2 days before national qualifier and he gets third in the NATION!!!!! Great job!

@TheNameIsMikep
That rumor is false. I competed against this guy at the Minnesota State Tournament. Fantastic guy, but not a miracle worker. ;)

I competed against this kid in prelims. He was kinda mean. Haha, but an EXCELLENT interper. So, props to him:)

Isn't it strange how there were two of the same pieces in HI and DI finals?

@OMBlob Agreed. Although, when you know your piece frontwards and back, it isn't too hard to make changes on the fly.
