@ChillMood11 you said Vitor will win Brazil for life as if Silva isn't Brazilian, I'm stupid yet you can't use your words to properly say what your thinking. Clown baby, learn English.
the question is...can anderson handle vitor speed? anderson silva has fought all types of fighters except someone with great hand speed and elusiveness...yes, anderson has better head movement, but can he dodge the hand speed of vitor, vitor also has great defense and has very powerful punches...and if anything, anderson would have to take vitor to the ground, which i know he wont, and honestly in my oppinion thats the only way hes gettin out the 1st rnd, yes i said it... vitor ko silva 1st rnd
@truthinhisword Yeah, but at the time i'd say Chuck was just as good a counter puncher as Anderson is now. Andersons just better defense wise standing up, and Vitor lasted all 3 rounds. I say Anderson by Ko in the fourth, and if not that by desicion.
if vitor and anderson do face off in the future i think its not gunna be a total war i think its gunna be a technical battle cuz in my opinion vitors speed matches up perfectly with andersons technicality
i know its crazy but the two time the fight was suppose to happen anderson got hurt and when the fight was set up again for april vitor got hurt so maya is his replacement
yeah i watched that fight i agree shogun was robbed i was saying both of them against silva would be crushed and vitor is his toughest ufc opponent but he will make beating him look easy too
i must disagree first of all machida trains with silva and gets pointers from him he has paid silva much homage in interviews and shogun is good but he lost to the guy who trains with silva
Anderson has a few ways of winning & I think that standing up, punching is not 1 of them. Anderson needs to hit Belfort w/head kicks or if he gets close enuf, w/knees & elbows mayb but every1 needs to know that both of these dudes R black belts in BJJ & muay thai. Vitor got his black belt under Carlson Gracie, Silva's came from Big Nog. I can't wait to see this fight bcuz if Anderson wins, he may as well retire except for doing superfights bcuz theres no way any1 can beat him if the phenom can't
the reason I brought up the chin of each fighter is bcuz both will be tested. Silvas dodgin tactics R amazin but in a pro boxing match Silva got KTFO!!! so it's possible that Silvas chin ain't great but Vitor's chin has been tested, against HW's!!!! I def think Vitor's gonna get hit w/o ? but the ? is can Vitor w/stand Silva's onslaught? & can Belfort use his faster hand speed to keep Silva@bay to lure Silva into getting caught & KO'd? Belfort does need to be ready for Andersons high kicks tho
I'm not sure when but Silva lost one match by KO & won one by KO. Vitor won his only boxing match. Vitor does throw punches in bunches but his hands ae still very accurate when he does that. Both fighter's chin's should come into play in this fight & I'm pretty sure Vitor has never been KO'ed but Silva was KO'ed in his boxing match. Silva's more skilled but the way Vitor matches up is good for Vitor. I think Vitor's gonna win but should be an exciting fight
no way silva is so much more precise and is talented in every aspect of the game. he only stands up because he is respected so much in his ground game why bother and waste stamina. silva will pick vitor off in his punches. silvas timing is incredible
true but I think Vitor can beat him. If Vitor wins it won't happen twice bcuz Silva is more talented but I don't think Silva's going to try to do anything different but Vitor will. Usually Silva doesn't have to do anything different bcuz he's the best but Vitor does pose the biggest threat & if Silva doiesn't play this right he could lose. Eitherway I want to see it bcuz they're 2 of my favorite fighter's so it should be cool to watch 2 fighter's with that level of striking go at it
i concur. vitor does pose a big threat because of his power. im worried silva may become too confident with the bob and weave instead of keeping his hands up and get his dome rocked. other than that its silva to me. even though they wont fight i think machida would be the biggest challenge. what do you think?
I agree. Machida poses a different & most likely bigger threat bcuz it's not just his power & speed like it is with Vitor mainly. Machida's talent is probably the closer to Silva's than anyone he could potentially fight. Good point about Silva's confidence bcuz that's one of the reason's I'm picking Vitor. Silva was pissed about Vitor accepting the fight & he may've not meant it but he thinks Vitor can't stand w/him which is a bad way to go into the fight. Vitor's actually been trainin w/Machida
UFC 112. I think it's at the end of April or May. I can't wait to see it. I actually got the Vitor Belfort vs Tito fight on DVD recently & I totally agree, Vitor won the first 2 rounds for sure but like you said, Tito was one of their superstars. What's weird is before the fight, Goldberg kept sayin that the loser of the fight would go off into obscurity which was really weird bcuz that's what happened kind of. I also thought Griffin beat Tito the 1st time but it's alway's in Tito's favor
actually that was a TKO. he's never been knocked unconscious which is why I was saying he has a great chin. Silva got KO'ed, not TKO'ed in a boxing match with 16oz gloves so it's pretty safe to say Vitor's chin is ctronger. It's gonna be a close fight & Silva's more skilled so maybe he'll win, but Vitor has never been KO'ed so if he explodes on Silva after walking through a punch, he can win. Silva has the reach so that's why Vitor's chin's such a factor. If he had a weak chin, he have no chance
Overall Anderson's a better fighter & he's more capable & likely to dominate his divisions but Vitor can still beat him. Silvas striking defense & dodging is so good that only someone w/faster and equally accurate hands like Vitor has could ever KO him. when you include kicks & muay thai silva does have Belfort beat but even w/how amazing Silva is w/his hands, Vitor is faster, & more explosive w/his & also w/Vitor's accuracy, Silva may get KTFO bcuz I think Belfort has a stronger chin than Silva
hey you should watch the silva vs travis lutter fight, silva beat him with a triangle, and lutter was a black belt in bjj and one of the best at the time. silva is just an animal on the ground and especially standing up... no one is unbeatable but if i were to pick one fighter that was it would definetly be silva.
I think a setup between Machida and Belfort would have been better. I think Vitor has a good chance against Machida, but dropping to 185 to meet Anderson Silva? Not a good Idea. Silva will pick him apart and beat him in the later rounds, he is just to smart and a true tactition. I hate to see Belfort lose because his value will depreciate, I rather see him fight in LHW and contest for the title then have Anderson Silva and him Fight in LHW Blt. Belfort has a better chance LHW vs Anderson S.
anderson is a smart fighter. Belfort dint prove shite he hit franklin, he hit franklin 2-3 times in back of the head. i think anderson will beat Belfort.
Hell Yeah bro...Vitor will be in a tough fight but i think he will knock the shit out of Silva.....Silva is gonna be throwing alot of front kicks just to keep Vitor at his range....but one slip from Silva and Vitor will take him out!!!
next time pick machida..dont pick sho gun..machida error not over just yet..i think rampage will beat him if he gets by evans which he will dont beat on evans history shows people who pisses rampage off gets ko'ed
I agree with almost everything you said. People say Vitor's a better striker but he's def not. Silva has better kicks and muay thai as well. Tito Ortiz always gets judges decisions in his favor I've noticed. Especially against Forrest Griffin. Forrest definetly won the 2nd and 3rd rounds clearly but Tito got the worst judges decision of all time in his favor again. Merriweather, you aren't related to Brandon Merriweather of the New England Patriots are you? he's a badass
Anderson Silva DOES NOT always make great fighters look bad. He didn't make Cote look bad.
Also, Vitor is far more powerful, and probably has better hands than Anderson.
Vitor has much better BJJ and wrestling than Anderson. Anderson Silva is a lot of hype. No one destroys Belfort, and the only type of fighters to dominate him are Henderson and Couture; totally different fighters than Silva.
Vitor is not Forrest Griffin. He's far more technical.
umm...doesn't "always" make fighters look bad. really. 8-10 of his last fight have ended in devastating fashion. lets see.
Chris Leben, Rich Franklin, Travis Lutter, Nate Marquardt, Rich Franklin Again, Dan Henderson, James Irvin & Forrest Griffin both in 205. he pretty much toy'd with Cote. and Leites didn't do shit to engage and just fell back.
ANDERSON SILVA = BEAST
not saying that Belfort isn't good.. but you can't take away Silva's dominance, to try and cut him down.
I'm not cutting Silva down, I've seen him defend the title twice, he's the best...but don't discredit his opponents. Lutter took him town, mounted him in no time, landed punches, and damn sure could have beaten him, but had lost mentally before the fight started. Marquardt fought very well, winning most of the round, before Silva finished him in impressive fashion. Franklin fought well too, until the end of the first.
Umm, Lutter mounted him but was no where near finishing. if you watch the fight, very few of the punches landed. umm, marquardt fought allright. not really impressive much. seeing as how all of silva's opponents start off "well". thats how silva fights. he looks at his opponent before he unloads. you see that in almost all of his fights.
You're trying, and I can tell you at least watch MMA. The problem is, you listen too much to Joe Rogan. No fighter lets his opponent "unload" from the mount. He was in Big trouble there, but survived and persevered.
umm no, he was not in big trouble. I guess me and you have different definition of "trouble". you think that was Big Trouble. no definitely not. War Machine was in trouble when he fought J-Rock and he persevered. Rich Franklin was in BIG trouble at the end of the 1st round in there second fight. That is big trouble. what Lutter did with anderson was not in BIG trouble.
As a fighter, having someone mounted on top of you punching you in the face is big trouble. Especially if they are a high level black belt in BJJ like Lutter.
Silva handled it just fine. Sure there are worse positions to be in (locked in an Anaconda choke by Minotauro, or BJ Penn having your back,) but it was a bad place to be in.
just because its a bad place to be in doesn't mean it was big trouble. yes it could have gone wrong and he could've been in trouble, but he wasn't. I guess we have different opinions. I understand where you coming from though.
Henderson dominated him through most of the fight (I was there, and for Franklin II.) He did utterly humiliate Irvin and Griffin. He didn't toy with Cote AT ALL, and didn't know how to approach him. When he did, Cote took his strikes like nothing happened at all, and fired off some of his own. I agree about Leites, but I don't blame. He had no chance, and was a ridiculous contender. Silva is not a beast, because beasts are mindless. He's very sharp and calculating. Silva is a champion.
i totally agree he will not take risks or chances he is a mastermind in the octagon. In my opinion his only competition is a rematch with henderson and i know henderson wishes he had that first round back against silva
I totally agree to that. Henderson stands the best chance of beating Silva, Vitor included. And, Silva is a true champion. He was dominated for the first time in his UFC career against Henderson. He went back to his corner, thought of a different approach, and capitalized on the slightest mistakes Henderson made. That is a champion.
Henderson won't make the same mistakes again though...and it will be a whole new fight.
the popular belief to beatin silva is taking him down to the ground travis lutter and henderson showed us but like you said his corner is great too at adjustments. i wonder if silvas age will show anytime soon? your thoughts.
That's a possibility...but I actually think his arrogance will get him long before his age. The way he lowers his hands and slips is incredible...but it may cost him if he does it against the wrong opponent. More so than that, he may not properly prepare for an opponent and get surprised.
yeah he cant do that with vitor is handspeed and punching power is 2nd to none i just think he needs about 3 fights to get in ufc shape provided he beats franklin
im pretty sure anderson silva is not a dumbass. when he hangs his arms low and bobs and weaves it means he knows the other guy is slow and not a good striker. he did that to forrest griffin because he knew griffin was a slow ass monkey that has sloppy standup. he would not do that to a fast striker for sure.
he dominated? really? haha. don't think so. He stood up with silva in which he landed 3-4 shots. than took him down and what? he just laid there. which is partly silva falt indeed. but I would hardly call that "dominating" if anything Henderson would've maybe won a decision in that fight. He toy'd with him like crazy. how could you not see that. he didn't fallow up on any of his shot, or never did anything to try and put him away. way to be anal about it dude you knew what I meant.
Are you talking about the Henderson fight? If so, you're fucking stupid. Anderson NEVER toyed with him. No one has ever toyed with Henderson. Dan was landing standing, and ripped him off the ground. Silva did NOTHING in the first round but defend. It might even be a 10-8 (I wouldn't judge it that way.)
oh I'm sorry dude. should've made it more clear sorry, in the cote fight he was toying with him. no doubt Hendo won the first fight, but he was landing very little shots in the first round. he took him down and then...what? he didn't do anything. and in the second round Silva hands down, overwhelmed Henderson badly.
belfort would not beat silva haha his hands are fast but his striking is definitely not better. whoever thinks that anderson silvas striking is not number 1 in mma at the moment is crazy. his ground game is also solid as fuck that is why not alot of people can take him down. even when they do they still get fucked up. a silva is a beast and he would definitely kick machida's ass as well.
silva beat machida??? Lmfao...I dont this so....they have sparred in training many times together...and it is well known from his camp that Machida has ko'd Silva during sparring.....More than once i might add.....Silva is not unbeatable! youl see soon enough..
so how many times have silva ko'd machida? i bet so many times they dont want to say it because it would embaress the fuck out of machida haha. yeah we will see soon enough because dana white said hes going to make this fight happen
as much as every1 wants to see the fight, it'll NEVER happen. just cause dana white said so, doesn't mean anything. there teammates, there manager is the same guy, Ed Soares. the honerable fight teams would never actually fight eachother like that, just because it's a code of respect and class they have as a bond, being teammates!
lol ur stupid if u dont listen to ur boss guess what happens? duh. even silva said he might have to fight machida in the future. it was in a interview go find it.
truth be told I'm not gonna wate my time looking for it, unless its a brand new interview, silva has stated time, and time again that their team-mates and like brothers, therefore they wouldn't do it. I'll beleive it when i see it, you can waste your time if you want. as for listening to your boss...
how many instances has dana said one thing then something else has happened, examples: he said Kimbo would never fight on the ufc, now he's on the show. he also said he would fight tito ortiz, and tito ortiz would never be back in the ufc, guess who's back! then the whole gsp vs silva superfight...
not gonna happen! nevermind the countless other things that havn't gone through! and by the way its not dana thats gonna make the deal official, the manager talks to his fighters, cuz they both fight under Ed Soares management, and if they wanna do it, the manager then decides whether its good for him as management.....
which even if they wanted to, which I'm sure they don't, why would the Manager of the Middleweight, and Lightweight undefeated ufc champions diminish their record? he wouldn't! cuz either way around it, one of his fighters record/reputation is done.
Yeah, Vitor definitely should have won that fight. It was crap. He clearly won rounds one and two.
And, it was UFC 51. His sister actually got kidnapped before UFC 46, where he "won" the title from Randy. Also, Randy is the one that ruined Tito, and he hasn't had any fights since Machida.
Also, Tito Oritz is not the same type of fighter as Vitor...so, that doesn't mean anything. That's MMA math, and it's crap. Ortiz would take Silva down again and again. and win a decision.
i heard anderson silva wants all belts..brocks belt...hehe never that ...brock can take anderson silva down with ease...and hit him in the face..match over..
Also, no one has EVER knocked out Vitor, or really even rocked him. He has one of the best chins ever in MMA, and Anderson hasn't done well against other southpaws in the past.
Man I agree I hope vitor beats franklin!! I think vitor has been more critized than applauded for many years and I think its about time people give him the credit he derseves! U mean the only guy who ever completely dominate him was randy and he has never been KO'd from my knowledge just knocked down (vs chuck).
"fantasy" in my terms of the fight ever happening not two guys who are so good that they would make epic fight. I should have made that clear in the vid thx!!!
Oh and I think you meant Travis Lutter. He was, in my opinion, seconds away from winning. He took Anderson Silva down mounted him and started raining down bombs on Anderson. A lot of them hitting his face and all of a sudden Lutter went for a sloppy arm bar and gave away the great position he had, That was pretty much the beginning of the end. Anderson got him in a triangle and he tapped.
Yeah Vitor's sister was kidnapped and murdered. Much respect for Vitor for actually fighting during that.
But like you I'm really excited for this match. This will answer a lot of question about Vitor and answer the question if Vitor truly is back. Rich is a very well rounded fighter. Only 4 loses. 2x to Anderson Silva, the MW Champ and top 3 P4P,1 to Lyoto Machida the LHW champ and Henderson a legend in the sport.
Of course I'm rooting for Vitor and hoping for a round 1 TKO.

Anderson Silva is damn sure beatable
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
umm...doesn't "always" make fighters look bad.
Helldog6 2 years ago
I'm not cutting Silva down, I've seen him defend the title twice, he's the best...but don't discredit his opponents. Lutter took him town, mounted him in no time, landed punches, and damn sure could have beaten him, but had lost mentally before the fight started. Marquardt fought very well, winning most of the round, before Silva finished him in impressive fashion. Franklin fought well too, until the end of the first.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
Umm, Lutter mounted him but was no where near finishing. if you watch the fight, very few of the punches landed. umm, marquardt fought allright. not really impressive much. seeing as how all of silva's opponents start off "well". thats how silva fights. he looks at his opponent before he unloads. you see that in almost all of his fights.
Helldog6 2 years ago
You're trying, and I can tell you at least watch MMA. The problem is, you listen too much to Joe Rogan. No fighter lets his opponent "unload" from the mount. He was in Big trouble there, but survived and persevered.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
umm no, he was not in big trouble.
Helldog6 2 years ago
As a fighter, having someone mounted on top of you punching you in the face is big trouble. Especially if they are a high level black belt in BJJ like Lutter.
Silva handled it just fine. Sure there are worse positions to be in (locked in an Anaconda choke by Minotauro, or BJ Penn having your back,) but it was a bad place to be in.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
just because its a bad place to be in doesn't mean it was big trouble. yes it could have gone wrong and he could've been in trouble, but he wasn't. I guess we have different opinions. I understand where you coming from though.
Helldog6 2 years ago
Henderson dominated him through most of the fight (I was there, and for Franklin II.) He did utterly humiliate Irvin and Griffin. He didn't toy with Cote AT ALL, and didn't know how to approach him. When he did, Cote took his strikes like nothing happened at all, and fired off some of his own. I agree about Leites, but I don't blame. He had no chance, and was a ridiculous contender. Silva is not a beast, because beasts are mindless. He's very sharp and calculating. Silva is a champion.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
i totally agree he will not take risks or chances he is a mastermind in the octagon. In my opinion his only competition is a rematch with henderson and i know henderson wishes he had that first round back against silva
randymerriweather 2 years ago
I totally agree to that. Henderson stands the best chance of beating Silva, Vitor included. And, Silva is a true champion. He was dominated for the first time in his UFC career against Henderson. He went back to his corner, thought of a different approach, and capitalized on the slightest mistakes Henderson made. That is a champion.
Henderson won't make the same mistakes again though...and it will be a whole new fight.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
the popular belief to beatin silva is taking him down to the ground travis lutter and henderson showed us but like you said his corner is great too at adjustments. i wonder if silvas age will show anytime soon? your thoughts.
randymerriweather 2 years ago
That's a possibility...but I actually think his arrogance will get him long before his age. The way he lowers his hands and slips is incredible...but it may cost him if he does it against the wrong opponent. More so than that, he may not properly prepare for an opponent and get surprised.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
yeah he cant do that with vitor is handspeed and punching power is 2nd to none i just think he needs about 3 fights to get in ufc shape provided he beats franklin
randymerriweather 2 years ago
im pretty sure anderson silva is not a dumbass. when he hangs his arms low and bobs and weaves it means he knows the other guy is slow and not a good striker. he did that to forrest griffin because he knew griffin was a slow ass monkey that has sloppy standup. he would not do that to a fast striker for sure.
switchfooted1987 2 years ago
he dominated? really? haha. don't think so.
Helldog6 2 years ago
Are you talking about the Henderson fight? If so, you're fucking stupid. Anderson NEVER toyed with him. No one has ever toyed with Henderson. Dan was landing standing, and ripped him off the ground. Silva did NOTHING in the first round but defend. It might even be a 10-8 (I wouldn't judge it that way.)
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
oh I'm sorry dude. should've made it more clear sorry, in the cote fight he was toying with him. no doubt Hendo won the first fight, but he was landing very little shots in the first round. he took him down and then...what? he didn't do anything. and in the second round Silva hands down, overwhelmed Henderson badly.
Helldog6 2 years ago
belfort would not beat silva haha his hands are fast but his striking is definitely not better. whoever thinks that anderson silvas striking is not number 1 in mma at the moment is crazy. his ground game is also solid as fuck that is why not alot of people can take him down. even when they do they still get fucked up. a silva is a beast and he would definitely kick machida's ass as well.
switchfooted1987 2 years ago 2
silva beat machida??? Lmfao...I dont this so....they have sparred in training many times together...and it is well known from his camp that Machida has ko'd Silva during sparring.....More than once i might add.....Silva is not unbeatable! youl see soon enough..
rickbeezer34 2 years ago
so how many times have silva ko'd machida? i bet so many times they dont want to say it because it would embaress the fuck out of machida haha. yeah we will see soon enough because dana white said hes going to make this fight happen
switchfooted1987 2 years ago
as much as every1 wants to see the fight, it'll NEVER happen. just cause dana white said so, doesn't mean anything. there teammates, there manager is the same guy, Ed Soares. the honerable fight teams would never actually fight eachother like that, just because it's a code of respect and class they have as a bond, being teammates!
thaiboxero1 2 years ago
lol ur stupid if u dont listen to ur boss guess what happens? duh. even silva said he might have to fight machida in the future. it was in a interview go find it.
switchfooted1987 2 years ago
truth be told I'm not gonna wate my time looking for it, unless its a brand new interview, silva has stated time, and time again that their team-mates and like brothers, therefore they wouldn't do it. I'll beleive it when i see it, you can waste your time if you want. as for listening to your boss...
thaiboxero1 2 years ago
how many instances has dana said one thing then something else has happened, examples: he said Kimbo would never fight on the ufc, now he's on the show. he also said he would fight tito ortiz, and tito ortiz would never be back in the ufc, guess who's back! then the whole gsp vs silva superfight...
thaiboxero1 2 years ago
not gonna happen! nevermind the countless other things that havn't gone through! and by the way its not dana thats gonna make the deal official, the manager talks to his fighters, cuz they both fight under Ed Soares management, and if they wanna do it, the manager then decides whether its good for him as management.....
thaiboxero1 2 years ago
which even if they wanted to, which I'm sure they don't, why would the Manager of the Middleweight, and Lightweight undefeated ufc champions diminish their record? he wouldn't! cuz either way around it, one of his fighters record/reputation is done.
thaiboxero1 2 years ago
Yeah, Vitor definitely should have won that fight. It was crap. He clearly won rounds one and two.
And, it was UFC 51. His sister actually got kidnapped before UFC 46, where he "won" the title from Randy. Also, Randy is the one that ruined Tito, and he hasn't had any fights since Machida.
Also, Tito Oritz is not the same type of fighter as Vitor...so, that doesn't mean anything. That's MMA math, and it's crap. Ortiz would take Silva down again and again. and win a decision.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
tito ortiz is back at 205..he dont know whos he fighting yet..he said hes coming back to rule the lightheavy weight division...lmaoooooooooooo
jasonkcmo 2 years ago
vitor is going to beat franklen..make a deal with me...if vitor wins u subscribe. if he lose ill subscribe
jasonkcmo 2 years ago

randymerriweather 2 years ago
i say give him machida...anderson vs machida...wow..to even think of that fight happening...
jasonkcmo 2 years ago
i heard anderson silva wants all belts..brocks belt...hehe never that ...brock can take anderson silva down with ease...and hit him in the face..match over..
jasonkcmo 2 years ago
absolutely i really think that this fight for vitor might be good because frank is well rounded and will work him back in ufc shape
randymerriweather 2 years ago
yo dont forget anderson is a black belt in jui-jitsu under da noguiera brothers so if he takes em down i dont think he can really do much
MMAsBiggestFan23 2 years ago
THIS IS A MUST SEE
randymerriweather 2 years ago
Also, no one has EVER knocked out Vitor, or really even rocked him. He has one of the best chins ever in MMA, and Anderson hasn't done well against other southpaws in the past.
undisputedgreatest 2 years ago
i actually think rich is gone beat belfort
MMAsBiggestFan23 2 years ago
good vid bruh but i m not feelin belfort against silva cuz noone has a chance vs silva man dat dude cant be touched
MMAsBiggestFan23 2 years ago
WE ARE TOTALLY IN AGREEMENT
randymerriweather 2 years ago
Hell yeah bro but hey good observations and let's hope for the best
Mellow714 2 years ago
Oops I meant to say "I mean" etc but anyways vitor for the win
Mellow714 2 years ago
okay i get ya i hope it does happen cuz it would be a battle of strikers if he loses i will be very disappointed
randymerriweather 2 years ago
Man I agree I hope vitor beats franklin!! I think vitor has been more critized than applauded for many years and I think its about time people give him the credit he derseves! U mean the only guy who ever completely dominate him was randy and he has never been KO'd from my knowledge just knocked down (vs chuck).
Mellow714 2 years ago
well, my idea of the term "fantasy fight" is two guys who r so good that they would make epic fight.
why do you put vitor and anderson in the same basket, and then say that anderson would destroy him.
there r much better fighters for silva to fight,
if this fight would be like u said, anderson finishes him with no problem, then there is nothing fantasy about that.
BlessedToBeObsessed 2 years ago
"fantasy" in my terms of the fight ever happening not two guys who are so good that they would make epic fight. I should have made that clear in the vid thx!!!
randymerriweather 2 years ago
Oh and I think you meant Travis Lutter. He was, in my opinion, seconds away from winning. He took Anderson Silva down mounted him and started raining down bombs on Anderson. A lot of them hitting his face and all of a sudden Lutter went for a sloppy arm bar and gave away the great position he had, That was pretty much the beginning of the end. Anderson got him in a triangle and he tapped.
xian67 2 years ago
THATS HIM LOL HE ALMOST GOT HIM
randymerriweather 2 years ago
Yeah hahah I started cracking up when you said Chris Long haha. Close enough right haha =D
xian67 2 years ago
man i was way off lmao thanks
randymerriweather 2 years ago
Yeah Vitor's sister was kidnapped and murdered. Much respect for Vitor for actually fighting during that.
But like you I'm really excited for this match. This will answer a lot of question about Vitor and answer the question if Vitor truly is back. Rich is a very well rounded fighter. Only 4 loses. 2x to Anderson Silva, the MW Champ and top 3 P4P,1 to Lyoto Machida the LHW champ and Henderson a legend in the sport.
Of course I'm rooting for Vitor and hoping for a round 1 TKO.
xian67 2 years ago
ufc 51 was the tito vitor fight. and tito hasnt fought since losing to lyoto.
