It was not until I saw the classic Schlitz can that a 40 year old buried memory clicked on in my head just now: an elder family member used to take the emply cans, cut out the front and weave a cap around it; it was a hit and I recall she made a few of these in her senior citizen class; damn, no one has one of these now. God Bless you, Cousin Margaret, I love and miss you always!

Irish Cookie! When are the Carpet Knights reuniting for a world tour? This dude's early work was raw, and baby I like it RAWWWWW, but he really went down hill when got involved with the Stinky Rodriguez Brothers. After rehab and a short stint in the clink he redeemed himself with The Gibbering Horror of Howard Ghomley.
I'd like to see him return a bit to his surrealism period in which his use of a Fiberglass Ronald McDonald left me scarred for life.
