I saw Carly Simon on a show this weekend, and she wrote this song in 1971 in 15 minutes while waiting for her first date with Cat Stevens. Pity she didn't marry him...how would things may have turned out differently for both of them!

I had to listen to YouTube to listen to him after the ad broadcast "If you want to Sing Out " for TMobile - someone on YouTube wrote that Cat abhors his music calling it evil - I don't know if this is true since he is broadcasting his music in an ad ($ could be an incentive)
