Dunno, what it is, but alot of it reminds me of my style :P anything pretty and i want it whether its new or old vintage or pink white or black just love love it
This is not shabby chic. Cottage maybe, even vintage cottage, a little French and victorian thrown in. Shabby chic is worn out, and much less cluttered with knick knacks and other items.
@Dix994 Shabby chic is a form of interior design where furniture and furnishings are either chosen for their age and signs of wear and tear or new items are distressed to achieve the appearance of an antique.
@TheZombietart I know what it is. The term was coined by Rachel Ashwell. Look at her books, look nothing like this. She very rarely used new items, and denounced clutter and excessively feminine frou frou lace and fluff. If she used accessories in any way, they were minimal. Maybe this is some people's interpretation of her style, but it is not shabby chic the way she intended when she came up with the style. This looks like Grandma Chic to me.
I love your shabby chic designs!
