@novoneiro They ripped them off but went even further. Liam Howlett said he saw what people like N-Joi were doing and thought he could do it better. Have to agree with him but if it wasn't for these early anthems there would be no samples or "inspiration" for the Prodigy and others to follow...

shite really init. The Kraken is a far better track. N-joi tend to have class riffs but its like its been thrown together. Allot of their stuff lets you down because it has so much potential but it doesn't deliver. My favorite tracks at the moment are "Annette-Dream 17, and "The back room project-The definition of a track." Both class definitive house records
prodgy loved njoi malfuction was on a top buzz tape he did in mixmag in late 92

This tune isnt called phoenix ???
tezal 1 year ago
@tezal
It is. It's the 2nd half of the track. The track goes on for a bit, goes away, then comes back as something else (i.e. this). Kind of like a pheonix

@catsfuckingdogs thanx mate what is the 12" called ?
tezal 1 year ago
@tezal It was on the Adrenalin EP in the UK, but also on Mindflux in the US. It's pretty easy to pick up second hand.

sure it was a hidden tune on the ep
Radgepacket 3 years ago
Nah man, it was tracked listed, appears after Rhythm Zone, at least it does on the Mindflux EP.
flidsticks 3 years ago
I had adrenalin ep on cd and it was listed but you had to play or ff rhythm zone....strange!
Radgepacket 3 years ago
Yeah, it kind of faded out and came back in as a new track. Mindflux is them at their best, what a riff.
