Love the Triumph ads - always cool, with excellent music. I have an 08 Daytona 675 - hubby bought it for me as a wedding gift. Now all I need is my DAS so I can run her. (Keeping in mind this is my first bike EVER!) He liked mine so much he bought the 09 SE version - lovely! Love the Triumphs!

I've currently got an 09 Speed Triple on order, in Blazing Orange but am toying with changing it to black.

Can anyone recommend any UK based Speed Triple or Triumph forums? The only one I know of is the Street Triple specific one.

Triumphs have always been the 'stunt bike' for most hollywood movies. Even on Viva Knieval you can see a Triumph with a Sportster air cleaner rigged on the side.A Clint Eastwood movie ,MottoGuzzie Police bikes turn into Triumphs for the 'hard work' Triumph does all the work. On History of HD's a Triumph is shown doing the HD's work. Triumph, the name says it all!

I own an '07 America. I agree that the factory cans make the bike sound like a sewing machine. I got a pair of modded factory slash cuts from an ebay guy named "chevy605" and they did the trick.

I don't understand how the factory Harleys can have a decent sound, but the EPA makes the Triumphs sound like crap.

It's all in the engine. Everyone sounds different, even if you put the same exhaust on them.

I also have an 07 BA with 605's. This is a great combination and the 605's are original Triumph pipes! They sound better after a few hundred miles.

i just purchased a 2008 America. Mine is the solid black, it turns heads everywhere I go, bikers love the look of the bike and so do I. This is my 10th motorcycle over the years. The America is a beautiful and its a great road bike. The good, it loves the highway, the bad, the sound sucks. I can deal with the sound, Triumph did a fantastic job with the rest. They just need to work on the sound.

What I would like to know is are the New bonnevilles just as likely to break down as the old ones? Its a shame you have to be a mechanic to own a brit bike, real shame as I like them.

Are you sure you were watching the right video. I didn't see any Harleys.....The new Bonnevilles are just like the old ones with out the hassel. Same great looks with new technology
