@DarkHoodedGirl If you listen to the intro cutscene when you create a Forsaken character, it says she and the Forsaken were wrongly blamed for the Wrathgate, We can only assume that she wasnt involved because she wasnt willing to betray the Horde, but mostly the fact that she had no idea of the coup going on. The Wrathgate happened at the exact moment Varimatharis struck with his demon forces in the Undercity, Sylvanas nearly dieing in that attack.

@Trassel92 The Forsaken didn't as a -race- It was really Putress' men who did it, not under Sylvanas' order though...so he says... Thrall is outraged at this, he confronts Sylvanas, she claims Putress did it without her knowing. Putress is evil, and wishes to destroy all life, leaving only the Forsaken. Sylvanas and Thrall fight Putress in the Undercity. Turns out Varimathras her right-hand was also evil and betrayed her.
