This is greatness. It goes without saying. My favorite part of the Woodstock movie is Joan Baez saying "Amen....." and then KERANG! KERANG! KERANG! The end of this ties with it.
It is the ultimate moment in rock and roll, actually the beginning of punk in some ways, as they followed Joan Baez, folk singer, and then came and ripped up the stage, including booting activist Abbie Hoffman down into the orchestra pit, with a Townshend boot to his arse.
i thought santana did better. i definatley loved the who! they ripped. and strangely joan baez was at woodstock[she was the only normal one] but she was amazzing!
