cold air intake,header,tsudo muffler,external coil conversion,throttle body coolent bypass,7afe cams,port n polish on the throttle body and intake plenum,60 degree thermostat, alt kill switch.last track day i ran 17.1 but since that i have added a sachs performance clutch, new flywheel, 2 step rev limiter, and a billit throttle body spacer so next month when Famoso Raceway opens up well see what it runs now

@96Rolla I ran a 17 flat at 80mph, with a/t, 7A with headers and test pipe, timing advance. 2500lbs. Will go faster but i had a bad exhaust leak that night, going for 16s

10 is pretty fast for a street car, but compared with some of the rail cars and bracket bikes out there its not squat. Were talking 2 - 3 second quarter mile times with traps of 300+ MPH... That's fast as hell, lol.

rims do not = anything other than look, unless you are getting light weight ones or something along the lines of that.

How ever, normally with better rims comes a bigger tire size, but more rubber on the road does not always mean better traction, tire choice can make or break a cars handling.

Unless you go and change the rolling diameter, you won't loose HP, bigger wheels will not add extra strain to a engine.

I am talking about width here, not 18s 19s 20s etc.

E.g 285/25/17

Where as 285 refers to the tire width and 17 to the size of rim.
