Charged terms like "holocaust denier" are meant for Western ears. Ahmadinejad did not call for "Israel" to be destroyed. He said its current government needed to fade and be replaced by a just government voted on by ALL of the people.

Iran can't "destroy the West" it amazes me how much nonsense people can be friegtened with.

my family is from Iran. Many there ~WANT~ TO see the end of Christianity. A few others WANT to kill anyone, themselves... in order to bring as much suffering to Western "infidels" as possible. But most are just people, regular peace loving people, unable to reign in the fundamentalists. You think nukes aren't ultimately imminent for any country who wants them? It's a matter of when, not if. My family in Iran hate Ahmedinijad. They liken his lack of intelligence and his rage to Bush's.
