Probably one of the best configurations for the Mad Cat is actually just like you've got your catapults: two ER Large lasers or PPC's in the arms, and two Clan LRM 20's up top with extra ammo. Max armor, all the equipment (I love equipment), 80 kph, and fill the rest with heat sinks. Probably better than your Catapults, anyway. :) Certainly more heat efficient than what you've got for your Mad Cat...

My favored Nova Cat configuration stripped out all the default weapons, then filled out all the slots with clan medium ER lasers. I then maxed out the armor, bumped up the engine a few notches, and put the rest of the weight into heat sinks. Not much range, but it had a pretty solid punch.

It looks like one of the mech packs changed the slots on the Nova Cat, though, because it has 18 and it used to have 21. Still, the general idea should be the same.

Heh the old ER Medium Laser boat eh? You can do almost the same thing with a Black Knight because of all the laser and omni bays.

Sweet,thats's all I ask. I hope you can find it! I can tell you like to use LRM 20's a lot on your support Mech's. There's nothing like seeing it from a overhead view!!

I think I remember, it was called Mech commander. It;s like taking your Mech's and dropping them into a RTS. Up to 12 Mech's, and the same salvage and Custom mech builds. Be warned however. It's was a decent challenge.

Thanks for info, I've heard of this game) I'm not really into RTS though, and I'm not sure if I'll be able to make a decent let's play of it, but at least I'll download it and have a look)

Good, stuff!!! I have a request however, there was another mech game out, ummm darn it...I cant remember the name. But I was in a isometric view.....I think it was released around the same time as Mech4...it you know of the game I speak of, and you have it, do a LP of that!!
