Great message. I remember some years ago hearing about a study where they had a group of people who were from 60 to 80 years in age pretend that they were young again. The great thing was that after a while, they really felt younger and better. So a lot of being old is just in your head. :)
I am short, and I do feel that those who are taller feel they are more superior than me. It does affect me negatively. If I was the only person alive, short/tall wouldn't exist, which is why this was conditioned socially.
How would you guys 'break' this barrier for me? How should I break it? It seems that you guys found a problem but it's the solution that I'm more interested in. I'm not sure how iPower's philosophy can help
i think the solution is mainly the realization. Once you realize that your sense of weakness is coming simply from height when height doesn't affect how you should live your life then you can live more confidently. If you let people know around you that you aren't discouraged by your height or intimidated by theirs then you will most likely become more confident or at least gain more respect. You will never be able to find a "solution" for social roles, but you can use it to your advantage.

Great message. I remember some years ago hearing about a study where they had a group of people who were from 60 to 80 years in age pretend that they were young again. The great thing was that after a while, they really felt younger and better. So a lot of being old is just in your head. :)

I am short, and I do feel that those who are taller feel they are more superior than me. It does affect me negatively. If I was the only person alive, short/tall wouldn't exist, which is why this was conditioned socially.
How would you guys 'break' this barrier for me? How should I break it? It seems that you guys found a problem but it's the solution that I'm more interested in. I'm not sure how iPower's philosophy can help

i think the solution is mainly the realization. Once you realize that your sense of weakness is coming simply from height when height doesn't affect how you should live your life then you can live more confidently. If you let people know around you that you aren't discouraged by your height or intimidated by theirs then you will most likely become more confident or at least gain more respect. You will never be able to find a "solution" for social roles, but you can use it to your advantage.
