I can't decide between Legend of Drunken Master final fight or Gorgeous (Jackie vs. Brad Allen) as favorite fight scene. Either way, both are horribly awesome.
favorite scene of mines os i like this vid but ONE little part you missed... and that's the very very end of this fight which is Jackie falling after that third bubble. But hey, the main point of the vid was the fight so I can't complain :p
Sorry Bruce Lee, Sorry Jet Lee, sorry everyone else ever, but this movie has the best fight scenes in any martial arts movie, its literally mind blowing, even if you've seen it nearly hundreds of times as I have its STILL mind blowing. Jackie Chan is at his best in this movie and this movie proves without a shadow of a doubt that Jackie is the best ever.
@CVTECRon "A big black monster"? Lol. You're fuckin pathetic for that comment. I'm not surprised. That's how you people view certain black men who just happen to have size, strength, and power. Oh. You might wanna look up the word "Martial Art" in the dictionary if you think that boxing isn't one.
"Drunken Master" and "Legend of Drunken Master" are probably my two favorite Jackie Chan movies. I can't decide which I like better. I think I like the story and humor of "Drunken Master" better, but like the fight scenes of "Legend" more.
lets take a poll. would you rather sit there and get hit 1000 times and hit your enemy 1000 times, or just be like mike tyson and take ONE swing and if you connect, which will be more often then not, and win quick or miss and get knocked out? I 'd rather take a big swing for the win or the loss.
i think id rather take the 1000 hits because with the big hit the fight ends so quickly and isn't very fun honestly i don't think id be very satisfied and with the 1000 hits it shows your more of a man cause you can take them and in the end when your vistorious you'll be much more staisfied and even if you lose you still put up a good fight
@jerrya76 but if you withstand 1000 hits, then they must not of been very powerful. If one hit knocks you out, then it musted been either/or a precise hit; deadly blow. but i do see your point too. If it takes 1000 hits to win, and you win, then you strategically were a way better fighter.
@SuperDonster 1000 times all the way. Cause the thing with haymakers like that is if you miss, you'r as open as 7eleven, and there's always the chance of the counter giving you twice what you were trying to give. Drawn out fights on the other hand tests stamina, technique, strategy, endurance and patience. All the stuff that makes a great martial artist.
yeah i think you might be right someone a while back on another vid told me something very similar im not sure if it was him but im pretty sure it was from this movie

There's no need to conduct that poll. Mike Tyson wouldn't be able to connect with the one swing against true, pure shaolin or tai chi chuan.
