The night after I saw this movie, somehow a squirrel must have gotten in the attic because one was inside the walls. All the sudden in the middle of the night I hear fucking scratching coming from inside the wall right next to my head. I almost had a heart attack. FUCKING SQUIRREL.
I love this film. It's a classic tale about evil/ dead, v the living, done in a modern way, with some old school frights and classic horror music- ie the screechy violins.
In some parts it's just nasty and horrible ( in a good way) and then sometimes it's abit OTT, and then others it's quite realistic, and I love the detail they've gone to to make it nasty, like using an old-ish man to play an old woman so it looks more menacing.great touch, great film!!!!

I love this movie! Great acting throughout. It was scary for me since i watch it alone at night ^_^ The build up music adds to it. This scene at the end was a perfect finish.

Insidious is probably not getting a sequel because James Wan and Leigh Whannell are trying to make Paranormal Activity, the new Saw Saga! They don't have time for Insidious 2!
Actually there might not be a sequel! James Wan and Leigh Whannell made another similar creepy film called "Dead Silence" which did not get a sequel but was still very terrifying like Insidious! Insidious still has a chance of getting a sequel but I don't think James Wan and Leigh Whannell are planning on it!

That's what the ending is all about... nobody would have thought that the old lady would be in there... so this is how it goes: Josh started with the nightmare and went to the spirit world -> The old lady stole his physical soul -> that strangled lady helped Josh's mother to forget the momories, without knowing that it was Old lady that was in there -> The lady lost her memories and got married , became teacher ,etc -> his son disappeared->

and the camera moves around once and shows that scene again, and you can see that
the position of Josh and the Old lady has been changed .. (suddenly the old lady is outside and Josh is inside the mirror)

I love this movie! Great acting throughout. It was scary for me since i watch it alone at night ^_^ The build up music adds to it. This scene at the end was a perfect finish.

Insidious is probably not getting a sequel because James Wan and Leigh Whannell are trying to make Paranormal Activity, the new Saw Saga! They don't have time for Insidious 2!

Actually there might not be a sequel! James Wan and Leigh Whannell made another similar creepy film called "Dead Silence" which did not get a sequel but was still very terrifying like Insidious! Insidious still has a chance of getting a sequel but I don't think James Wan and Leigh Whannell are planning on it!

The Old Lady thinking she is Josh went into the spritual world by hypnotizing which triggered to gain all her memories back -> saved the son -> OH FUCK SHE KNEW ME WHO I AM SHE FKING SHOT THE CAMERA IMMA KILL THAT B1ATCH lol
And the proof that the boy in the spiritual world who points at the house is the REAL josh : there's a scene that Josh's mother shows ppl the pictures of Josh's past, and there's a picture of him with the pajama, it's exactly the same

That's what the ending is all about... nobody would have thought that the old lady would be in there... so this is how it goes: Josh started with the nightmare and went to the spirit world -> The old lady stole his physical soul -> that strangled lady helped Josh's mother to forget the momories, without knowing that it was Old lady that was in there -> The lady lost her memories and got married , became teacher ,etc -> his son disappeared->
