  • that's hilter piloting the ME 163 AT 2:40?

  • coole frau.

  • Hanna Reitsch-a German Hero 5***** who fought till the end to stop communism and zionism.Thank you.The Americans understood too late they were fighing against the wrong ennemy and were totally under zionist pressure. What does not mean that the holocaust has to be excused!But...what is happening in Palestine makes me furious ...Innocent Palestinians are now persecuted instead of innocent Jews...I think zionism is to be abolished, not the Jewish people who aren't zionist!

  • Too funny, This is my Great Aunt.

  • Great video. But ich hätte das Interview viel lieber auf Deutsch gehört wie @ 6:16 Die Frau war halt mit Leib und Seele Pilotin...

  • listening to her - she demonstrates such a passion for flying and her descriptions are great to listen to..........

sad that chics these days just want brainless pop songs and fluffy poodles..

she was always a flyer first and Nazi second.....

and if germany was communist - she would have gone along with that too..

you cant tarnish ALL Americans for following a RIGHT wing republican neo war mongering goverment either -can you?

  • This woman's life would make a great film based on her unique accomplishments, unbelievable courage, and stunning personality but how can you make a sympathetic character out of someone who was a Nazi who worshipped Hitler. Interestingly, she spent her life constantly risking death and almost all of her closest Nazi "comrades" and family members commmitted suicide after the war.

  • Nazi- so! that dont make her a murder.

    tj

  • She is passionately portrayed as a flying heroine in the 1965 film 'Operation Crossbow', the best way to remember her.

  • Great post.Thanks

  • Listen at 6:18 a little bit german kaputt...

  • German technology stolen by the americans: Jet fighters, helicopters, large transports, rockets, nuclear bombs. America would be a fly shit without german technology.

  • That's totally a myth.

Sorry to pop your bubble but germany was not THAT far ahead compared to the other countries.

    Still they had an edge.

  • Actually, Germany had a great edge. You might be very suprised to learn how far ahead they were.

True history is facts, although they may not be very well known.

  • I seriously hope you are not even thinking about the haunebus, because the latter are just fabulations by wackos on the internet.

  • No need of haunebus. Germans made spectacular advances in all field of technology, based on progresses in physics, engineering and experimental devicing. They also made significant advances in the medical sciences, although through ethically very questionable procedures. And so on...

  • Can't believe it, someone not talking about nazi flying saucers! That's nice for a change.

Germans were cutting edge in many fields but in others they were terribly lagging, such as radars and almost everything about nuclear physics.

The sad thing is that Germany got impaired in its scientific development by the nazi thugs. They were a leading scientific nation before the war and they lost their edge because of the nazis.

  • Thanks for your point of view.

  • The so-called Nazi thugs could also be credited as having enabled this scientific development in the first place by green lighting many of these projects and saving the German economy from the ruin of the Wiemar Republic. National Socialist Germany led the world in many areas of sciences. The development of a space program would have been seriously delayed if not for the groundbreaking work, subsidized by these "thugs".

  • Absolutely right, ODK. Well said.

  • dont forget night vision

  • Thank you for posting - great job.

  • One of my greatest heroes is Hannah Reitsch. I saw her younger photos and she was very beautiful. Excellent video of Hannah. Germany was the first besides Russia to give women rights and let them serve. In war women and children are the biggest targets for crimes so it is natural to train and use them. She is fascinating to watch and is like a evangelical minister speaking.LOL

  • How doesflying a V 1 rocket bomb equate to being an astronaut? The V 1 could not get anywhere near the Karman line (100 km altitude) or even 80 km altitude, which is what the U.S. define as the edge of space.
