This stunning piece of music has been my favorite since the first time I watched the episode.. The fact that the show's producers thought it was also beautiful enough to create a 'suite' and add extensively to it certainly shows a great deal of sensitivity on their part.. It's seldom done.. I have and still recommend it to others and know, for certain, it has become a favorite with several of them too..

The Inner Light episode is one that the older you get the more you appreciate it. When it first aired I was a kid, now with my own family it really hits home. To Picard the memories were real, the family was real, everything was real. An entire lifetime of happiness and sadness. It is a shame this episode doesn't get more praise then it does. I like it more then Best of Both Worlds I/II.
