  • omg! havent seen this movie in years!! Thanks for the upload! :)

  • see those were a givft.. from ur wife:)

  • Maddie Corman was such a cutie (the girl playing the older sister). She was also in some straight to HBO movie Seven Minutes in Heaven, a long forgotten teen flick. Its okay, i was her age then, LOL.And Lea Thompson's character lives in a modest house with window unit A/C's?! I liked this SO much better than Pretty in Pink; much more likable characters.

  • Mary was wonderfull in this movie!!!

  • Does anyone know what's the name of the song played in this opening scene?

  • @wreckedroads Its a song called Dr Mabuse by Propoganda - a wonderful german band. Also look up their biggest hit - Duel.

  • Comment removed

  • @wreckedroads Oops - mis-spelt it - Propaganda is the bands name - its an instrumental version of the song Dr Mabuse (I think thats how thats spelt)

  • THANK YOUUUUUUUU!!! I used to think Eric Stoltz was cute in a geeky way back then. Now, I think he's just a hottie.

  • you spelled "Wonderful" wrong...

  • I like the cheesy instrumental at the start ; )

  • @86443 Its not cheesy, its freakin AWESOME! :D

  • @screamingmean ..How many times have you said,"awesome" today? How about this week?

  • @billy1212ist um....not much really. I'm not one of those people who use that adjective to describe every other word, I just really liked the drums : / I felt that awesome was a proper word to use…geez would amazing be a better word for you? maybe classy instead of cheesy?

  • another John Hughes movie!

  • "those aren't mine!"

"thats just for show, i don't..."

"those were a gift from a...your wife"

  • "those were from your wife"

  • its Taggart

  • all he got was detention? lol times must've been simpler. last kid who was caught with drugs at my school was expelled and lost his full-ride to UM. kid before that got arrested.

  • I'm proud of myself for liking, when I was a senior in high school, a guy who talked and acted a lot like Eric Stoltz's character. I had good taste; I didn't like cruel jocky boys; I liked nice musicians.

  • I like John Hughes movies in this order: 1) Breakfast Club, 2) Pretty in Pink, 3) Some Kind of Wonderful, 4) Ferris Bueller's Day Off, 5) Sixteen Candles

  • @janenguy2011 those are the definition of 80s movies.

  • I was in junior high and high school in the 80s and I can safely say that there was DEFINITELY a rich kid vs. poor kid dynamic. It didn't often play out in this really dramatic fighting-with-each-other with major cruelty, but it was there. This may not have been true at everyone's high school (depended on where you lived), but it was true at mine. My older sister transferred to a diff. high school b/c she hated the rich kids at her school. We called them 'preps" (for preppy people).

  • my mom told me im like watts

  • Aww that's DJ Tanner :) Isn't Keith her big brother in real life too?

  • Eric Stoltz is hot!

  • @amyliz143ny Smokin HOT in this movie! : D

  • @amyliz143ny Yes it is

  • I go to this fucking school, haha....it hasn't changed at all.

  • SOMEBODY PLEASE TELL ME WHAT SONG THIS IS!!!

  • @NothingTypical2010

song is called dr. mabuse / band: propaganda

  • @NothingTypical2010 dr. mabuse. <3

  • the girl , is Dj. the tv serie full house....

  • @IMCAable NO WAY! reaaallY??

  • Nice! Garbage Pale Kids!

  • love that song love love love

  • But lea kinda of sucks at actting in this Movie like she didnt want too do it. But i would love to be stalked By eric :). you can tell made lea nervous in this movie :). i wonder if they went out any after making this movie? i think they did for a while.

  • LUv it i can watch it 247..:) Lea and Eric :).. Lea is soo pretty like she is today she havent aged a bit like the rest of them have lol instead of shane she looks good as today also. eric still looks the same :)...luv

  • my fave movie of all times! love it! :)

  • my fave movie! super looooooooove it :D

  • super loooooooooooooooooove it! :)

  • I was born in the 90s but i just LOVE the 80s the movies were awesome and so was the music - it was loads better then than it is now :/ tahh for uploading this movie, never seen it b4 but it looks good :D

  • One of my FAVORITE 80's movies of ALL time! Thank you so much for uploading this! : D

ERIC STOLTZ was such a HOTTIE back then! :D

  • this was so much better than pretty in pink. had a huge crush on masterson..... super cool and funky girl... oh i miss the 80s..... getting old..

  • ...You know that sugest a cirkulatory problem ..... lol

  • One of my all time favorite movies. IMHO, SKOW was everything Pretty in Pink should have been.

  • Buenisima pelicula, thank you:)

  • Oh, awesome! You have the whole movie on here. One of my favorites growing up. And I see you have the further installments titled "Skow", just like a true fan.

  • good film a little cheesy at the end though lmao

  • ahhh that little girl is candace cameron aka DJ TANNER!!

  • @jeph0091 lol I was just about to ask is that CANDACE CAMERON??? haha

  • oh, well they were a gift from your wife..lmao

  • xCultSpherex i agree:)

  • 9:00-9:30 is my favorite park.

that guy was one of my favorite actors.

loved him as casey jones in the 1st

of the teenage mutant ninja turtle movies.

  • great movie

  • its m all time favorite film watched it about 200 times

  • I don't know what's softer- a blanket or eric stoltz's voice

  • Fantastic film and brilliant music all the way through .

  • isnt tht lil girl dj from full house?

  • Watts has always been my favorite character in this movie!

  • @Ocean71fvr Mine too. It's amazing how her career went from just short of the Brat Pack of the 80s to the role in Fried Green Tomatoes as Iggy Threadgood. BTW, if you haven't read Fried Green Tomatoes then saw the movie, you're missing out. Even now all these years later I can't tell you which was better, the book or the movie b/c both were equally great. I'm just sad that Mrs. Threadgood aka Ninny (can't recall the actresses name) passed away. She was great in FGT & Driving Miss Daisy.

  • the sound is really bad mate but thanks ! great movie though! shme i cant hear it lol have to stell a amp from o2 lol

  • LOVE IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!

  • oh Lea Thompson in the 80's what a hottie!!!!!mmmmm

  • OMG The little girl Cindy is DJ from Full House OMG HOW CUTE WAS SHE!!!! STILL IS THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!! That blonde girl Watts or whatever her name is is Idjie Thredgood on Fried Green Tamatoes right?

  • @SaveSpashley2010 yes daaa you still dont know who mary stuart masterson is look her up and you will see she has alot of movies great movies.

  • @ssesf you nerd. who cares..... y'know its just a film

  • ''can't buy me love'' and ''some kind of wonderful'' my fav childhood flicks

  • lol, i love that girl...she is funny...wimp

  • "Those were a gift...from... from your wife" *cheeky smile*- Ah yes, and he thought he could get out of detention :-P

  • Is that...D.J. Tanner?

  • @PopCultureTart yup =]]

  • Amazing film but where's the rest of the parts? haha XD

  • CLASSIC STUFF~!! LOVE IT!

  • -(: such a good movie .

  • This movie is fantastic!!! It's one of my favourites. Lea Thompson...Oh My God! What a babe

  • eric stoltz is a cutie....love this movie.

  • @YoleneR14 ERIC STOLZ HEE HEE HE GIVES ME BUTTERFLIES

  • @BeeGeesLover84 Me too lol

  • What kind of parents are they not scolding the daughter for breaking into her brother's room and with a sanction as she does not recognize any wrongdoing or responsibility for her actions.

  • John Hughes You Rock! R.I.P. for understanding teen trials and tribulations.

You were a genius and you cared about us like no other writer/producer/director ever did. I'm an adult now, but I appreciate everything!!

  • Yeah this movie was special, good love story.

I wish kids would challenge themselves today like Amanda did about no longer being with the "in" crowd. Just be an individual and find our own voices, not be like everyone else...I know it's easier said then done but that's what I was always about, and then I knew my friends were "really" my friends (smile)

  • E.S. and M.S.M both git better looking as they got older, but not (what's her name) the "object of his affection?" she looks a mess in her older age sorry to say. anyway it was a cool ass movie with alot of lessons as well.

  • @atlasshrugged2u who are both of those initials? anyway. I love the breakfast club but there was something i always thought was missing about that movie. I went to two culturally different high schools and neither matched anything like breakfast club. I see what you mean about the meaning. But the meaning there i didnt feel like the meaning for something kind of wonderfull. Its nothing that can put into words how you like somebody and their stupid to see and like somebody else.

  • @DCProductions77 The initials were "Eric Stoltz" and "Mary Stuart Masterson".

I was privaleged enough to go to one of those "ritchie" kind of schools with cliques just like that, ultra conservative and "drenched in school spirit" and made people like the "criminal's character feel like shit, and the brains/geeks, and the freaks like Ally Sheedy's character

I was in "Arts and Entertainment" we did't look down our noses like all the others but It was totally fake. Breakfast Club showed that.

  • ugh..this is bullshit (not the movie) My computer is fucked up and im tryin to watch this jeese

  • Another 80's movie people slept on. I have the dvd and its uploaded to my ipod. To tell you the truth i like this better than the breakfast club. A little more realistic! Every guy wishes they had the hot girl in school. And man Leah Thompson was soo hot.

  • @DCProductions77 Uhhh right...look, I love this movie too but don't get crazy!

The Breakfast Club was monumental! It gave people a peek into the lives of 5 very different kids who found out by the end of the day they were actually the same. It dealt with relationships of all kinds, and they ultimately found out that they were turning into "clones" of their Parents, pressure from their friends, but ignoring their "authentic selves" Very poweful movie, watch it again, trust me!

  • this is one of my FAVORITE movies!!

  • I love this songggggggg....so mucchhhhh...can anyone tell me where to find it?

  • Erick Stolz is a HOTTIE!!

  • I love the littlest sister <3 i want one i only have 2 older bros haha

  • Dude is that the original mini cooper???? sweeet

  • @cavecandle31 fuckin crazy huh lol i know man

  • anyone can get in to college dad, only a privlige few can get into amanda jones

  • John Hughes WAS the 80's man

  • was he really lol i was born in 88 i wish i was a teen back then it looks so cool unfortunately i never got to go to prom for my senior class in 07 idk yu got any advice..

  • @TheDuke71 He understood the woes and trials and tribulations of the teen years from an 80s perspective, albeit from a very romanticized Hollywood view. The cliche of the popular cool rich kid vs.the outcast were so prevalent yet most of the situations he created were totally the excception not the rule. The social climate was always some suburban high school in which there are unrealistically rich cool kids there. How many teens drive corvettes and have that kind of power?

  • @TheDuke71 Haha I love him.

  • Love this movie. Lea Thompson is soooo hot ~ and Mary Stuart Masterson is even hotter !! A big thumbs up !!

  • That guy Keith has a really high pitch voice and I think they should send the little girl to college instead, she is pretty damn smart

  • @biro89 well little candace cameron did go to college

  • great filmmmmmm !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • WOAH! SAME TABLE FORMATION AS DONNIE DARKO! Make this movie EVEN MORE awesome!

  • @PurpleandBlackNails

Good catch! The dad, mom, two sisters and one brother, and everybody is seated in the exact same position as Donnie Darko, and the brother is fighting with the sister, and the littlest sister is neutral in the middle. The littlest sisters in both even look the same, both cute with the same long hair in a pony and short sleeved blue shirts, and they're the same age. DD takes place in 1988, and SKOW is from 1987. I think DD did the set up on purpose, as a tribute.

  • Candace Cameron is sooooo sweet in this movie!

  • Lea Thompson and Howard Deutch met during filming and got married in 1989. Nowadays they are still married. Now how cool is that? One of the few steady Hollywood marriages!

  • I love the beginning of this movie, the way she plays the drums she is one bad ass chick

  • @janetmorales221986 well she dosn't play If i'm not mistaken it's electronic drum or what ever its called, but its a cool scene i'll give it that.but it anit that type of drums they us ein the song.dunno why they use this ones.

  • I Go Crazy by a group called Flesh for Lulu - saw them live in London in 1987
