  • lol FDR was an awful president the only thing he did was go to war.

  • lol, this man is a joke

  • Newt, being a History Teacher. How can you ignore the Fact that

the Policies of FDR Prolonged the Great Depression by 7yrs.?

I would like an honest answer to a legitimate question?

  • FDR basically TOOK OVER the country, he ROBBED American people's gold & handed them toilet-paper called "US dollar" which has losing its purchasing-power while it was the govt & banks that created the crisis just like today & he gave all that gold to the banks & of course, the govt & banks continued to DEVALUE dollar even after that. He cartelized more industries than any president, his socialist RAW DEAL policies brought widespread misery, only after his death that US came out of Depression

  • @tjtomkins Now The American People's Gold that was

stolen. Has vanished! Ft.Knox has No Gold. They are

    guarding the illusion very securely.

  • That's great, I love him two! And I hate Reagan-tard :)))

  • @atoz2501 Reagan knew how to spell

  • Newt has also compared himself to Moses, Abe Lincoln, and Pericles. Who knewt?

  • who knewt?

  • Newt is a stinking power-loving fascist who isn't fit to run America! I hope this rat doesn't win the primary!

  • Tappedline: anarchy is the ultimate freedom...isnt it?

  • Lol, Glenn Beck used this video

  • Newt Deal

  • Comment removed

  • Oh, Absolutely! Newt Gingrich loves FDR, Linocln, Martin Luther King, Ghandi, Jesus Christ, basically anyone who has ever helped their fellow man is LOVED by Newt Gingrich!!

    Is opposite day over now?

  • @HNK222 LOL Newt Loves any Woman that has every helped him out:)

  • None of that means he agrees with FDR. FDR was a great politician, look at all the anti-American crap he did with overwhelming approval of duped Americans. Praising a man's accomplishments (if you want to call them that) is not praising his policies.

  • @1980PintoMan Hitler was a good politician.

  • @1980PintoMan Yeah, and he got the trains to run on time too, I sure!

  • Lol, interesting montage

  • Aphoresis: i think youre giving Fdr too much credit, but whatever.

  • Demon: lol thats the best you can come up with? Pitiful.

  • If thats your thing all the best on that. RP is a social and foreign policy liberal who would have been disliked by the Founding Fathers. Theres a reason why he only gets 7% of thectea party vote...the mans views in general are not something we need in a president. Hed be better off running as a democrat.

  • Ron paul is a moral anarchist

  • @emperorintellect No he is Freedom.

  • Ron paul, newt gingrich and mitt romney are all a bad voting investment for America. If you want real conservatism go for bachmann or santorum.

  • @emperorintellect Your a idiot :) Ron Paul for 2012!

  • @emperorintellect Its not about who is a conservative or a liberal at this point, its about who cracked the system: Ron Paul. There has been a major effort to create a global currency, and a one world government. You find that the reason why Ron Paul does not participate in the games of the establishment, is because he discovered the reality of globalism and the enslavement of American citizens. He proved the NWO exists. He doesn't talk about the deep stuff on TV.

  • Did anyone notice he looks about 40 years younger in these videos?

And it's entirely possible for FDR to have two sides, one of which we don't know. History people are like that, praising (for example) Hitler for his anti-poverty moves, and not for his killing-inconvenient people moves. (As all socialist do...)

  • No, he didn't "Take millions" from Freddie Mac; he spent more than a YEAR working with them in a non-lobbying capacity. And trust me: for a mere 1.6? Chump change! Most of the democrats knee-deep in it made TENS OF MILLIONS out of thin air.

  • Lol, I thought that was Reagan.

  • This pisses me off.

  • A small government, Constitution loving Republican should not look to FDR as a political ideal. This speaks volumes against Newt, who is supposed to know history. Obamanomics is FDR's New Deal on steroids. FDR didn't bankrupt us, his big government economics just prolonged the Great Depression. Obama might actually bankrupt us.

  • OMG.. I like Newt supporters to defend this... FDR destroyed this country.... he is why we have the problems today...

  • @gold95

Destroyed the country? America both rose to it's status as the most powerful country in the world under FDR, and sowed the seeds of bad progressive economics under him.

It's certainly more complex than that.

  • Someone should make an audio loop mp3 or some such audio and feed it into a megaphone and play it for all to hear outside of every campaign appearance Newt has scheduled. No need to really say anything else unless you want to include his praise of Andy Stern w/SEIU !!!

  • Newt is a big ego lumpy dump.

Never would I elect this arrogant big government statist to run my country - EVER. Newt is not Tea Party. IDIOTS!

  • We should call him "New Deal Newt"!

  • I'm supposed to be surprised that a History PhD would find our only 4 term President, who defeated 3 world powers in 3 1/2 years would think that FDR was the 'greatest President' of the 20th Century?

Can you imagine Ron Paul ordering the 'unconditional surrender' of anyone other than The United States?

Just so you know, a 50% reduction in the military, closing oversea bases, gay marriage and legalized drugs are not Conservative principles. They are fringe Liberal/Libertarian ideas.

  • He just praised FDR on Beck.

  • It appears to be a spliced video.....basically a phony video. The audio and video are choppy. It sounds completely phony. Nice try.

  • It is what it is... a progressive that is.

  • to recognize FDR for his ability to GET things done is NOT an endorsement of FDR liberal programs. Why do Paultards lack the ability to actually think?

  • @mrjason1252:

But FDR DID "GET things done"(or more accurately, NOT done) by "liberal"(read:statist) programs, something which no conservative worth his salt would endorse in any way shape or form like Newt does.

And I find it quite ironic hearing a bootlicker of the GOP establishment talking about "the ability to actually think". Pot, didn't mommy teach you to not call Kettle black?

  • @mrjason1252 Excellent point. In that case, I despise Hitler for killing so many people but respect his efficiency in doing so. Am I doing it right?

  • @xcept4alltheothers I have not read that book, but my point was that say what you want about how much he may have wrecked the domestic side of things, he still crushed the nazi war machine/imperial japan. They were crushed so hard that no one is expecting Germany to start up on another Arayan/Social Darwinist invasion of all of Europe. One can argue that due to nuking Japan, tons of american lives were saved. And for that I give him credit as a better than average president.

  • And again I not really a pro-Gingrich guy. I could see myself voting for Obama over Gingrich, and I cannot imagine myself voting for him in the primary. I am just saying I can see why someone could like FDR.

  • Newt's hangman's chuckle when he says, "and I get into trouble with the right on this" is the most disturbing part of the video. He is taking delight in sticking it to the right by not saying "Ronald Reagan" or "Calvin Coolidge" who cut the federal budget dramatically to quickly get the U.S. out of a depression. To Newt the exercise of despotic power effectively seems to be the mark of a great leader, not the guarding of the freedoms of a country's citizens.

  • @xcept4alltheothers I agree with you on that point. He reminds me of McCain, a conservative who loved to flaunt how much he disagrees with republicans and how he is not one of those "crazy ones". Which is why I can't see myself voting for him. I was just making a comment about how merely liking FDR isn't that bad, I consider myself a tea party guy and think he was one of the better presidents of the past century. In contrast to opinion by and several comments that just see one aspect of FDR.

  • @markamadeojohnson I agree with you in terms of WWII. If attacked now as we were then, Gingrich, the great communicator, would be the better leader, but nothing could cause me to vote for Obama, as he has purposely skirted the Constitution on several occasions and continues to telegraph his desire to legislate on his own without a vote from Congress. That type of maneuver shows a complete disregard for the most basic of Constitutional principles: democratic representation.

  • @markamadeojohnson As a tea party guy, how could you ever vote for Obama? He is by far the furthest candidate from the tea party ideals of any of the candidates.

  • @xcept4alltheothers I know right? While there is a lot to be upset with obama, I may vote for him over an adulterer (Gingrich). And at least he kept gitmo open and got bin laden and is killing tons of terrorists with drones (unlike Paul said he would do). So while I hate Obamacare, not being able to get a better job in this economy, and Obama's big government top down approach in, I can still imagine a situation where I would vote for him...

  • @markamadeojohnson You are comparing Obama's present-day destruction of the Constitution to adultry 2 decades old?! You, Sir, are not who you claim to be. A Tea Party Patriot would never equate the two. Any one of the Republican candidates would be far better than O. In defense of Gingrich, he will stand up for this country and could be a strong world leader, unlike Obama, whose second term will be catastrophic as he will openly embrace the far left where his heart is.

  • @xcept4alltheothers Hey, I am a tea party guy. I support them and attended one of the first tea parties (April 6 tax day where we were protesting the stimulus bill and corporate bailouts). My own personal experiences have led me to hate adulterers. I know it was a while ago but I see them as evil and they attack the very foundation of society. They destroy families. And who we elect as president will represent the US, and it is embarrassing to me have an adulterer as a president.

  • @xcept4alltheothers And just because we disagree on the severity of adultery, doesn't mean I don't stand with the tea party against Obama (and the rest of Washington for that matter) on issues like stimulus, corporate bailouts, Fannie and Freddie, Obamacare, and limited government.

  • @xcept4alltheothers Newt will stand up and sit down, as 'Kock Bros' and a 'Brokered Convention' handpick who's to lose to 'Big O'.

  • FDR prolonged the Great Depression. His economic polices created double digit unemployment for the remainder of the 30s. That is why you keep Government out of the market and let the market correct itself. Bush started this and Obama is continuing it. No bail outs, no union favors, no printing money out of thin air and bring back the gold standard the way things used to be.

    RON PAUL 2012

  • I think that FDR is probably my favorite democrat president because of his importance in WW2. I don't think I would vote for Gingrich, but as a conservative I could understand liking FDR. As Ann Coulter said, he was sort of like George Bush (43), great on foreign policy but lacking on the domestic side.

  • @markamadeojohnson FDR was not anything like 43--a moderate. FDR had so little respect for the Constitution that he tried to reverse the Supreme Court by packing it. He so cowed the Court that it reversed itself on the famous commerce clause case that ceded unlimited power to Washington. The list of his failures in trying to control the economy at a microscopic level are legion. For the full extent of his despotic behavior, read "The Forgotten Man" by Amity Shlaes, a respected historian.

  • @PatriotReview If I may, you should be glad the blaze and Beck are using your videos. You're setting their agenda, just like Drudge Report. They used your FDR on their radio, and if they keep digging, they'll find the Toffler video.

  • The Blaze steals video clips of mine all the time. Simple solution: report them to YouTube. 3 such reports and their YouTube account is terminated. That'll learn 'em!

  • If they put Newt up to go against Obama, I'm not voting GOP. 3rd party probably, not selling my soul to big government and super debt. you guys can.

  • Have we had enough of the Progressive Republicans yet America??? Are you listening???

  • Just Vote Ron Paul! The only true Conservative, His message is the back bone of what the Republican Party is suppose to be! He has a proven 30 year track record that tells America He is Honest, He will not sale out to Greed, His Integrity is unmatched, If you believe in what the Constitution stands for, How can you not support this man. He is going to Win Iowa. Dec 3 - 5 PPP poll Newt 22% Paul 21% Mitt 16%. 78% say they will definitely Vote Paul with Newt 53% under age 45 Paul 30% Newt 16%

  • Problem is, neither Gingrich nor Romney are conservatives. They're big-government politicians. Will they be better than Obama? Yes, in the short run. But if elected, they may very well open the way for the next Obama-- as big-government George Bush did.

When we elect Republicans who don't stand for Conservative values, we end up opening the way for liberal Democrats to elect their progressively worse candidates. Carter, Clinton, Obama- the camel's nose pushed further into the tent each time.

  • @theR0nin Gingrich, Romney, Paul, and Perry are all people called RINO's (Republican In Name Only). If one of them gets nominated, we're pretty much fucked.

  • BUY MORE AMMO

  • Gangrape our constitution is a progressive JUST LIKE FDR. He is NOT a conservative!!! AT ALL!!! Vote for RON PAUL POTUS 2012.... Newt is a flip flopper and believes in BIG GOVERNMENT, NOT scaling back but SPENDING MORE and INVADING MORE countries that we should not and continue and create more wars. CONTINUE to allow the fed res to print money. HE IS PART OF THE ELITE CFR FREEMASON clan that does the U.N.'s bidding. RON PAUL!!!!

  • He is and always has been a wolf in sheep's clothing. We are in trouble - AGAIN -

  • @frankeastchester who's Reagan? lol

  • Newt............said from time to time the GUNverment needs to "look the other way" during a terrorist attack just to remind Americans how important they are.

Just like FDR, "Looked the other way" on Pearl Harbor, we got WWII.

Newt will "Look the other way" we will get WWIII.

F*ck OFF Newt, or get a bugle and a drum and lead the MFn charge.

  • Screw Newt!

  • Wow! Post links to this video everywhere you can.

  • Barrack Gingrich or Newt Obama. Not much difference here.

  • Check Websters for the new definition of a circular firing squad. The answer is "The conservative party if Newt Gingrich is our nominee."

Plain and simple. He is unelectable in a general. Newt has more in common with Obama than he does with Romney, Michelle. Get it right.

  • Newt is toast!!!

hes such a fricken progressive! there's no way the tea party can elect this guy!! they can't be that dumb!

  • Newt is NOT the answer. Take the time and learn the record of all the canidates running on the R ticket.

  • If Newt wins the nomination, the Tea Party will be officially dead.

  • Comment removed

  • Newt Romney, today's REGRESSIVE REPUBLICRATS. No wonder he admires one of the very worst presidents in US history, FDR.

  • Anyone still consider nominating Newt Gingrich needs to seriously reallign their beliefs. This man is a tranwreck for the GOP. He's not a conservative, he's barely distinguishable from Obama. He and Ron Paul are the only 2 of the remaining candidates who are certain to lose to Obama. Newt is Unelectable.

  • The evidence keeps piling up.

    Ron Paul 2012.

  • @RMMHS4RP Yeah, but Ron is a failure when it comes to foreign policy. The middle-east flew right off the cliff and is plunging into the Islamic abyss and towards all out war. That, and we have China now maneuvering to make itself the dominant world power, and Im not holding my breath on them being some positive influence on the global landscape in the future. Foreign policy is more critical now than ever, and he has little knowledge of anything outside of US politics.

  • @mysock351W Ron Paul is one of the only people with the cajones to admit that our foreign policy is at least somewhat reponsible for the people in the middle east looking the other way when it comes to the extremists. Why would anyone in the region wanna help us fight muslim extremism when our military bases are on their holy lands and our operations sometimes kill innocents? The extremist hide so well and recruit so well because of our foreign policy, not b/c we're free.

  • @SangriaStud28 The holy land bit is propaganda, and Ron was ignorant enough to believe it. The claim is that they defiled Mecca and Medina with their presence. The nearest base is nearly 1000 miles away, and no US soldier has ever set foot in either city. Its like the Westboro Baptist Chruch complaining that its been defiled by a Mosque in NYC. Again, theyre playing you for the fool, and you bought it.

  • @SangriaStud28 Secondly, the reason that they fight us is that its mandated in Islam. The quran says quite clearly that its every member's duty of the ummah (muslim community) to establish the rule of Islam over all the world. See chapter 9 of the quran for the most extreme example. Ch. 2, 4, and others also cover this. Its an Islamic ideology problem, not a defiled city problem. Only fools buy into that claim.

  • @mysock351W Stop outsourcing your thinking to Fox News and Talk Radio...We have been a nation for hundreds of years that stood for liberty/freedom and why are the Islamic peoples suddenly wanting to come over here??...let me help you we invade their lands, steal their resources and bomb their homes and give Israel weapons to attack them. It's you that is the religious fanatic and extremist and that is why you are blinded by your hate...Learn some history and show it to your Neocon buddies.

  • @Namso2010 Thats a pretty ignorant statement. First off, the Islamic world has been invading nations for over 1400 years. It only stopped when the Brittish abolished the Caliphate after WWI and secularized Turkey. It started again in 1979 when the Iatola saw that the West and Carter would not act if he took control during the 79 revolution. They then went on to invade, purge, and Islamize places like Lebanon, which was a more secular nation beforehand.

  • @Namso2010 As for Israel, its been the imprative since its inception that it be destroyed at the hands of the Muslims. They tried in '48 and '67, and after 1967, the concept of a Palestinian came into being. Beforehand, a Palestinian was a Jew.They did this in order to create an "open sore", as the Egyptian pres. said, for Israel so they could continue to try and overthrow Israel. Lastly, Im an atheist, so go fuck yourself. And learn some history while your at it, ignoramus.

  • @mysock351W One thing that Ron Paul will NOT do is have the U.S. military hamstrung by silly and suicidal 'rules of engagement'. One thing he has made very clear is that should Congress declare war, it will be total war. None of this Guerrilla war/Peace Keeping/ Nation Building BS that has so utterly failed for so long.

  • @SheyOneTen Ok, fair enough, and I agree 100%, but Ron does not understand the ideological motivations of those who are fighting us. You fight ideologies, you dont fight terrorists. Terrorism is a tactic.

  • @mysock351W Ron Paul Predicted 9/11 a Decade Ago watch?v=4hJTisovvjc

  • @kungfujones1 Good for him. Never would have thought it would have happened, even though they did it once before. What a surprise...

  • How about, instead of extracted comments misrepresenting his entire position, you actually try showing the entire speech in context. This is like the guy who cheats on his wife and then, when asked about it, quotes the Bible saying "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!"

  • @kaijueguy I agree, Newt should know that very well, as he has cheated on 2 wives to benefit his cause. He also changed churches 3 times to suit his agendas.

  • This doesn't surprise me coming from Newt. Newt is a progressive.

  • Newt took millions from Freddie Mac prior to the residential collapse in ’08-’09

Check my channel for videos of Newt being a racist, war monger and supporting terrorism

    - Newts News

  • "Conservative" Newt apologists have no reasonable defense for this.

  • @jfej111 Really? You have never acknowledged that someone was good at what they did even though you didn't like them. I can think of hundreds of examples. You think Hitler was a genius or not effective? You think Ovomit is effective? I'm not asking if you like these people, the question is are they great at what they do. FDR was also great at what he did. Newt didn't say he liked FDR's policies, in fact he has blasted FDR's policies many times.
