I'm like 99% sure the band who did this song was Bail Out, who was a local band in the Southeast region of Virginia around 10 years ago. I remember getting a ride home from school the Friday after 9/11, and as soon as we got in my friend's car, the DJ on the radio said he had something special by a local band, Bail Out. I've never been able to find much more on them, and there have been a dozen other bands with the same name since. Can you confirm or deny this OP?
