Ever notice the many of pro-China comments on videos against China? Look up articles on the "50 Cent Party" and other front groups paid to pedal Chinese propaganda on the web. They are paid to act like China's critics and appear unintelligent or to support China(signs of this are grammar flaws and over use of stereotypical English slang like "u") or they are just Chinese themselves defending their country's abuses. This video also matches the version reported by dozens of other people who were there. It doesn't match the Chinese government's version that they were acting in self-defence.

His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama called a full amnesty (which means freedom for all) before he left the jokhang temple the first time when china invaded Tibet in 1950. So he freed them all.
Tibetans have no freedom now. Tibetans who desire freedom and respect human rights are jailed and tortured or shot.

To be exact, the feudal system exsisted in TIbet 50years ago.After the reform, millions of slaves under the feudal serfdom became masters of their own.Dali Lama is behind this system.His "holiness" praised the feudal system so that people could be slaves to serve him.

Tibetan society wasn't perfect. But it was functional.
Besides... The Dalai Lama has since stated that if Independence were gained Tibet would become a democratic state so that argument is terrible.
Also the reason why Europeans colonised Asia and Africa was because they thought the Asian and African cultures were "backward" too.
Today that argument is unacceptable... and shows that China is thinking like the 19th Century European.

IMHO the discussion of what kind of society Tibet is/was before the Dallai Lama left betrays an imperialistic attitude on the part of the Chinese. Nothing short of that. Who are they to decide for Tibetans what their political system should be? Furthermore, I just don't think Chinese troops should be shooting people in Tibet for daring to try and get out.
