  • Great info: thanks.

  • Hydrangeas do have seed, harvest in the winter. these are not true to plant and could revert or sport to another cultivar. Propagate via hard wood in winter or soft wood in the summer. Rooting hormone will help but not necessary.

  • yes ive seen this video but is there a special fertilizer or root grow you put the cutting into?

  • hello

do you know the proper steps in how to do this?

    thanks for your time.

  • hello

    Do they produce a seed?

or can you take a cutting to start your own plant?

i cant find the answer to my question any where.

  • @11clownboy they don't seed, they can be propagated by cutting but you have to know the steps.

  • This would be a great video if the audio was better (camera is too far away). Also, instead of just pointing to certain varieties, pan the camera over so that we can see what you're referring to...

  • I am very interested to know that hydrangea of Oregon is in bloom

    from september to october.

I enjoy this flower bloom in rainy season in June in Japan.

  • that's not pruning your cutting the hydrangea not growing it back
