I set up a spring trap with one of the baby saplings by the fences and when they hit the gate, it flung some serious gravel and sand right into their little smug faces. They never bothered our dog again :D

i did this but instead of a 30 pound rock/stone i did it with a 140 pound boulder. it took a few tries and a broken wrist but i finally got it up that tree. any ways i got my friend to walk through the woods with me and being very cautious i got him to trip the wire and his foot swung up from under him and he was knocked on his ass. thanks for the video very helpful

@Ese1Pac You should be able to, you'd just need a counterweight heavier than the person, and a tree strong enough to hold it. Wouldn't suggest it though, as they'd smash their head before they left the ground, and if the loop around their legs snapped, there could be more head injuries :/

awsome vid but alternitive counter weight to spring the trap is a surgical rubber. if your trapping something like a boar you could tie down your main line which would be the rope with the noose to the stump of the tree so something like a boar or game ranging from 50lb. well into the 100lb+ bracket will held but again awsome vid. ill set up my trap for everyone then hopefully post another vid. with a boar in it to give an idea what can be caught and how it worked out.
