Our mice will chew on it a bit, but loose interest and would rather play on it than eat it.

Nope. These are all pet store rescues from several different locations.

For the most part they do fine together. The larger the group, the less problems we have had. Every now and again you will get a few that just won't blend in, but we try them with other mice till it all settles in.

All the mice we have are female. They get along much better than males do and no babies that way.

@lawrimadinosaur Don't worry. I had three gorgeous female mice and when I got another one i was really nervous about her being accepted as she was about 2-3 months younger than the others and they were a bit wary of each other at first and they picked on her a bit, but i washed the cage as soon as i could and because all the smells had gone they started to become less territorial and less than a week laters they were all best friends. :)

ohmygooooosh my mouse has that same purple wheel in his cage! It's good because he won't catch his tail! Also just like Dobey, my mouse has a tanned belly too but he is a champagne tan :) verrrryyyy cute though.

Yesterday I scrubbed my pet mouse Penelope's cage until is shined, saved some of her old nesting materials because they smell like her old cagemate, Shadow and gave her some ice cold water. In return, when I out her on my shoulder then bent down to pick up the cage, she peed on my back. -_- mice can be SO ungreatful sometimes...

No problem. A lot of patience and a lot of handling. Most mice can be trained to be people friendly. It just takes time. Younger mice tame easier than older ones that may be set in their ways, but again, with patience, they usually come around.

I have two pet mice! One of them is black and white, the other one is gray,white and tan. The black and white one is Midnight ( I like calling her Bell) and the other one is Coco.

I used to keep mice ages ago, recently I've turned to rats!

Next year I'll be adopting more rats, but you know what? I might get a smaller-wired cage as well and get a couple o' mice-ies again. I miss their speediness and energy and tinyness. Your vids reminded me of all that.
