HEY ANYBODY AT ALL WHO LOVES this movie!! Sony was *supposed* to release Marie Antoinette on Blu-Ray in February 2007, but then delayed it at the LAST minute for freaking movies that were to be released in APRIL! Anyway, I have Sony's number/e-mail to request MA on Blu-Ray in 2011; I have had success everytime I try. :D Anybody who wants it, just reply back and I will PM you!

Great movie by the way, one of my favorites. I always love what Ms. Coppola has to offer! Loved the colors, the music, THE CINEMATOGRAPHY WAS TO DIE FOR!!! I love Marie Antoinette!

The whole cheating on Louis XVI did make her look rather trashy, though. I mean, they were trying to show good characteristics and...it wasn't even involving anything, like her trial of cheating for a necklace. It was still a good relaxing movie, though!

Marie was a beautiful spirit, who was very misconstrued and misrepresented through the years, and by history. Kirsten did a wonderful job portraying her. I am glad that this movie looked at Maries' life with some sympathy instead of cruel and unneccesary judgement. I wrote a song called "Marie Antoinette" in her honor, and respect her greatly. I reccomend this film, because it shows her as she was...in her younger years, happier, and free...before her tragic murder at the guillotine.

@aleks345 UGH If you didn't know that Marie Atoinnette was killed by that angry mob outside and so was her husband than you are pretty stupid.

@faerie27d I totally agree with your take on Marie Antoinette. She was silly and naive - but she was NOT cruel, and she did her best according to her understanding of things. In one book on her life it states that a small peasant boy was injured by one of her carriages - she sent his family enough money to pay his medical bills and to support him for the rest of her life. She did NOT deserve her eventual fate.
