LOL, I don't know. We like the natural look. Most mini's have long manes and just a bridle path, it's pretty. You should see some of my other guys. They have super long manes and forelocks.

Try Ozark Mountain mini tack or Kay Jay farms. You can do a google search for them. I don't remember what I paid for my blankets, but they were pretty reasonable.

I find my mini's really don't need blankets unless they are clipped or partly clipped and we live in NY. The mini's wearing the blankets in this video were clipped at the time.

It depends if you want just a pet or if you want a show horse, but with the economy the way it is right now you can pick up a nice colt for as low as 500.

If you check with the animal rescue groups you may even be able to adopt one.

LOL, God yes! He's been photographed more times than Paris Hilton. He's been in the news paper, on tv, this past Labor Day he made it to CNN International. A minitaure horse in a pasture will turn heads, you can imagine what one walking down Bourbon Street on a leash will do.
