Definitely going to check this place out when i move to Tokyo in September, I was worried there was going to be a lack of bars/clubs with good music in Japan, but that place looks like it could satisfy my metal needs
1st time I went to Wallstreet in Ropponggi I was dragged there by some hot Eeuropen chick that probably made a few ¥by bringing me there. But it was packed and had quite a few honeys so it was good. Gaspanic in Shibuya was a different story. Cheap biru but when I saw a 60someting J-dude dressed more gangsta than real street thugs dress it was time to go. Its just hard to find a place that actually wants you there to begin with. But I get what you mean about YT peeps. Some of us are ok. LOL!
Cool that you made a video of a joint you like.. Seems like lots of folks just bitch about place like the gasspanic and wall street pub. etc...And the eeeeediots that go there. NO one wants to give up the places they actually dig. I'll have to check it out.
@edtomorrow quite so. While there are places I would love to show people, they are also at times not places I would like to start running into YouTubers all the fucking time :P Since I was there, I thought... fuckit, but you probably won't see too many of these. Especially since they are hard to find, which is part of their charm.
@TokyoZeplin I went to a Tweet up in Tokyo in October and that was a problem We went to the Pink Cow which I though was in a very obscure place but was to packed for all the people that showed up. We moved on but no one had room for us. I figured that there would be tons of lil bars like Rockaholic with no one in there that we could take over but the leader just had to have a certain place. The choice is overwhelming I don't see how most places make it for long. I guess they don't.
@edtomorrow actually usually Rockaholic is quite full, on weekends you'll stand shoulder to shoulder with everyone, and otherwise there's usually around 15'ish other people in there. The reason there was no one there that night (though a lot came about 1 hour after I made the video) was because of the weather. Shibuya was deserted that night. It's also quite big, actually! I suppose there's around 40'ish seats, so with standing can probably fit around 100 people on the weekends.
Oh man, Zep, I miss rock-a-holic..

Can 16 year olds get served or is it a typical 21 year old restriction?
macf1soon 1 month ago
@macf1soon the legal age in Japan is 20, though I've met severa 19 year olds (though none younger than that) who were drinking.

By the way Zep, I don't know if anyone else had issues, but your last three or four videos have not appeared.

Been a while since we chatted, I do remember discussing it in a live feed a while back but memory fails me, so it is legal to smoke in bars in Japan?
Standard420247 1 month ago
@Standard420247 completely legal.

Haha, I don't drink beer or go to bars, but man, that seems like a really awesome place.
I'd probably check out the place if I went to Japan.
