ok this its not just florida for one its all over the world, i worked for a chicken picking company in ontario canada and almost every single chicken farm is just like this honestly if you think this is bad you should see how the birds get transferred, and it would be different if the birds were captured then put into these cages, but they were raised in those cages they dont know whats good or whats bad, and if you ask me thats one fine lookin chicken that was out side of the farm
I don't think a vegan diet is necessarily the most important thing you can do. Because let's face it, vegetables are being treated in similar abusive manners, given their genetic manipulations nowadays. What's important is that more videos like these pop up.
Great video Jaclyn! A quick update: last week the bill was changed to clarify that a person has to physically be on farm property to be committing a crime, and the crime was reduced from a felony to a misdemeanor. But even with these changes, the bill is objectionable and uneccessary (as you mention in your video, trespassing is already a crime in Florida). People who live in Florida need to contact their state senator and ask her/him to vote against Senate Bill 1246!
Hey, check out my new vid on a FL law just passed making it a FIRST-DEGREE felony (25-30yrs in prison) to take photos of factory farms and puppy mills. Can you believe the government is taking it this far???
@BlissPortal Its a law of supply and demand. If demand is there then somebody else will supply it. As long as humans want cheap foods, this practice of producing eggs at the lowest possible cost will continue.
