Shy doesn't necessarily mean lack of confidence. Most Asian guys are more conservative, honest, and self-protective at first. They don't feel like to fully open up until they really got to know you. And, it's very difficult to really know a person. So, instead of being stereotype and telling them to step up, perhaps you should deal with the cultural differences.

Oh, c'mon. No single ethnic group will disappear. Ethnic homogenization (and no, it doesn't mean gay for you 12 yr olds) will not likely occur due to 2 reasons:
- selective environmental pressure (genetics, technology, health care)
- social pressure (religous value systems, economic variables, political value systems)
What WILL happen is there will probably be a demographic shift where white ppl will be a minority. Thinking that everyone eventually will be some shade of brown is ridiculous.

Stereotype is what makes the world go round. White girls, or girls in general want confidence. Thats mostly found in white or black males. You see a lot of white girls with black guys mostly because of the stereotype of being dominant, secondary because of their manhood. Thats another stereotype within itself but its true. I have yet to see a white girl prefer an asian guy OVER a black guy when sex is the topic. Goes to show how shallow some girls are. I still love white chicks to DEATH.

@theguy1224 if manhood is something in question, you dont need that kind of girl. Personality is key. I like any kind of girl, no matter what race/color, just has to have a good personality.

As if race has anything to do with taste? I mean of course upbringing and culture has a part to play. But why the heck must we stereotype everyone?!

Girls don't bite. Just talk to any of them and make sure you talk to them as a friend first. Don't talk to them as a BF, your not there yet and have to be a friend first. And be honest in what you talk about, if you try to just bs, girls see through that most always and you'll go no where. Just strike up an honest coversation about something. you will NEVER have every girl in the world, so expect that. But be confident and enjoy life, smile and have fun :)

i talk and not too shy but there are just amazingly attractive girls i cant look straight at.....its funny and sad....but in terms of confidence...if it comes to fighting....im confident XD....but it im being judged im not so confident XD....

Aw I love asian guys :] I wish there were more where I live. Unfortunately, the asian population in my area is probably less than 1%. And I don't like them for superficial reasons like some asiaphiles or weeaboos. I just think they are really cute :]
