I think that might work out cheaper for me than a data plan + Spotify, 'cause I go hardcore with my music xP Not too in love with the phone, but the phones I fall for are all high end devices, with a MUCH higher price, which wouldn't really work economically for me right now :P

I personally didn't like it that much when I first bought it. But Nokia has done a great job by updating the fw on it. Now it's much more usable and faster. Music player is much better. Browser is somewhat improved, keyboard is a bit improved too But still not that usable. But I love the speakers on it. They're the best. But I'm getting the Nokia N8 now which I know I'll be happy with :)

i´ve got this phone since summer, and it´s awesome. there are only 2 things that make me sad. First is the camera, 3.2? c´mon, it could have been 5 or 8 mpx! And the second thing is lack of motion sensor. It got only to switch display but only on 2 sides, not 4 and that you can not play motion sensor based games.. but i love it never the less, and i am going to keep it for a longer time.

I have never used the contacts bar (I rarely call or text anyone). I use program shortcuts instead. BTW this is third touch screen phone from Nokia. Not first.

Oh and the double clicking. In list menus the first click is to select and second is to enter because there is options button. I personally hate the iPhone style that enters the menu with one click.

I think Nokias are the best phones, durable also. My N95 is still working after 2 years of abuse, constant dropping and one drowning. The one before that was the same way. Im def planning on buying 5800 or E71.

I totally love Noah and his reviews but I couldn't disagree more about the 5800 review. It's the first touch phone I actually like! The screen is so clear and it's not hard to use at all! That sound Noah mentions when pressing a letter actually helps me because it gives a more real feeling of pressing a button. The sound could be a little better but it's good anyway. (continue...)

Seriously... I do not know where you used the phone but as far as all my friends told me: it would sound great... Also the firmware needs to be updated. if you do not have version 20 on your phone then do not even review the speed or camera quality... and on version 21 it is even faster and has even less bugs - or at least I haven't found any.

But still it is not an iPhone competitor since it is so different. it has a completely different feel (no multi-touch)

You only have to "double tap" stuff in list view if its not highlighted. One tap to highlight it, another to access it. If an item in the list is already highlighted, only 1 tap is needed. In the main menu theres no double tapping, only on list views. Not really rocket science...
