okay lemme answer this for all...That battery indicator is on the 3.0 unofficial software..the one that apple had right before they posted the legit on in itunes but when they posted the official 3.0 firmware in itunes they got rid of the battery percentage and made it limited to iphone 3g s users only...So if you want this battery percentage indicator you need the 3.0 firmware that was leaked out before the real 3.0 was released,....hope this helped and great vid sonik

Aww, was voice recognition on the old firmware as well?? I don't get why the regular iphone 3g does not support such a simple feature, when it has all the necessary hardware. Marketing gimmick?

you can't find it on the iphone 3g only on 3gs. perhaps it will come with the 3.0 firmware. but i am not certain of that.
