I appreciated your message RE: Rosh Hashanah, not because I am Jewish, but because of your message of hope. @johnbbbs So you've described the nature of most religions on earth. Lets take a look at the Catholic church, which ruled W. Europe for the past 10 centuries, and continues to exert "Xenophobic" influence (see French limits on any religious expression conveniently larger than a crucifix).
I have no contempt towards any religions, but your notion that Jewish fear differs from that of other cultures is an example of new-age antisemitism and ignorance developed when the Holocaust is forgotten.

The Saudi lobby is more powerful than the Israeli one, fact is that while the US government condemns Israeli settlements, it does not condemn Saudi soldiers beating up Bahraini protesters seeking for freedom. The Turkish lobby is also very powerful, as it prevented the US government from recognizing Armenian genocide. If you condemn one lobby, please be coherent and be sure to condemn the rest.
