Granted I'm a few years late but the impact she made on my life was astounding.

I had been a cutter for 6 years in secret thinking I was the only person in the world who did it. After seeing her on TV I realized that other people go through the same thing. It made me look up information online and seek treatment.

She died of Cystic Fibrosis, the most common genetic disease. (I have it too, by the way) You don't look sick or disabled, but you caugh a lot, have to eat a lot because you don't digest it good enough, are more tired than others after sporting or so,... and many more; look it up on wikipedia or so.
