I spent five years travelling by train down the river from Lostwithiel to Fowey to attend Fowey Grammar SDchool - the most beautiful railway line in the Westcountry, and naturally closed by Dr Beecham. Opening it to passengers would be a great tourist attraction.
They still have China clay trains there then. Remember going youth hosteling at Golant in 1974. We got the train to Lostwithiel and asked the bobby if we could look round the box. He pointed to the sign on the door, 'Private etc etc' Some you win some you lose!
Spent 30 mins in a layby trying to boil water for a cup of tea. Great adventure. Mike and I were only 14 at the time.
Great Video, 5 Stars!
