  • Orton's fault. Ha!

  • I PITY THA FOOL sorry.lol

  • Mr. T rulez. A PITTY THA FOOL to piper and orndoff

  • Never in our time will we see a more true form of old Greek theater in our life time.

  • is t alive

  • Gorilla has the best sayings. "Fountain of misinformation" was one of my favorites.

  • 2:15 i never seen that a refery grabs a wrestler :P

  • does anyone knoe the name of the song that starts at 4:43

  • Comment removed

  • @stevengoose That's the Coliseum Video theme, they dubbed over Hulk Hogan's theme which was "Eye of the Tiger" at this point.

  • Gorilla guarantees "pandemonium"

Jesse and Gorilla = best announcing team EVER

  • The commentator kept saying "unbelieveable", but I ask you, was pro wrestlling ever believable?

  • Que bagunça essa luta xD

  • The days when your theme music didn't start blasting the moment something went your way. :-)

  • Of course I want to be fair and Piper isn't the only wrestler in history that refused to job. However it seems the so-called smarks give a free pass to every wrestler that refused to job except Hogan. However that's all Hogan has done since 1996 is job. He even jobbed on television. Difference between Hogan and Austin. Hogan didn't want to job to Lesnar but he did do it and convincingly so. Austin didn't want to job for the same reason so he walked out of the company like a bitch.

  • We were robbed of the obvious payoff everyone wanted. Piper getting pinned. Oh but he would've losty his heat? Hell Hogan Hall and Nash did nothing but lose in the WCW and kept their heat. Flair could keep his heat. In fact Piper's refusal to allow the payoff by either pinfall or a beatdown probably ruined him as a heel. What face would work a program with Piper if he couldn't even do the most obvious and logical job in history at WM1?

  • MARCH 31, 1985

  • Piper likes to claim he is at least the equal of Hogan. What did Piper do after this? Not much of anything until he met up with Hogan in WCW. Sure Piper had some decent programs but nothing that could sell a PPV. Hogan went on to huge over the top programs with Bundy, Orndorff, Andre, Savage, Warrior, Sid, Taker, Flair, the Giant (Big Show,) Luger, Sting and The Rock.

  • @mongoose704 Roddy was busy trying to manage a singing and movie career and raising the family that he desperatly wanted. Can't fault him for being a family man.

  • @papillonaquatique I don't fault him either but it has precisely nothing to do with my point. When he was pushing his wrestling career, he didn't have a lot of success outside of Hogan after WM1. He had a decent program with Adonis but at best was a midcard feud. His buddy Bret gave him a token IC title run. But so many of his programs had great potential and simply faded out. Perhaps because Piper was tough to deal with when it came to jobbing.

  • @mongoose704 In fact here is what he did: Forgetable feud with Orndorff, The Hillbillies and Mr T. Decent fued with Adonis. Embarassing skit at WM5. Forgetable blown off feud with Rude. SHAMEFUL feud with Bad News Brown. Token IC title run. Big run with Hogan in WCW which Hogan quite frankly carried. Pipe was at best embarassing. Forgetable run with Savage where he whined about jobbing to Savage.

  • @mongoose704 Maybe he was. That is the story according to Scott Hall but I doubt it. He just doesn't come off like that kind of guy and considering some of the types of matches he has been in and things he has done after his peak I doubt that is the case. He did some stuff in WCW but I didn't start watching wrestling until 1999 and I stuck to the WWF. I tried WCW. Saw Kevin Nash beating up Ric Flairs boy. Not entertaining. Saw Jericho on the WWF and I was hooked. Enough said.

  • @papillonaquatique Not just Scott Hall. That's the story the simple facts show along with other wrestlers confirming it. Honky Tonk Man, Hall, Savage, Nash, and Hogan have. Many have also confirmed that Piper is the biggest bullshitter in sports entertainment history. I get that impression from him. Nice personable guy but he likes telling tales.

Yeah you caught on to wrestling when WCW was in free fall. However Jericho was better in WCW.

  • @mongoose704 The Honky Tonk Man I don't find credible. Hall, Nash and Hogan have always had an agenda against Piper and Piper wouldn't put Savage over so he probably doesn't like him either. However I do agree that Piper probably does like to tell a few tall tales. I think it adds to his legacy and mystery rather than detracts from it. I think Nash and Hall probably tell a few tales themselves. That is just business.

  • @papillonaquatique That's precariously close to saying: Well they are all out to get Piper so we can't believe it. Agenda? Every wrestler has an agenda and quite frankly Hall said he has absolutely nothing against Piper and even admitted he was drunk when he confronted Piper about not jobbing to savage. But the facts agree with Hall, Honky, Hogan, and Nash. Piper jobbed to Snuka once and Hart once during his entire WWE stay. Those are also the last clean jobs he ever did.

  • @mongoose704 I will admit I am a Piper mark but I do think that there is some shred of truth to Hall and Nash's side. Piper is not a saint and I am sure he probably has done some stuff but I wish there was another angle from the outside looking in. Piper I don't think lends himself well to jobs anyway because he is a heel who made his career out of not being so nice. It's not like Piper was the only person who could puts someone over.

  • @papillonaquatique Admittedly I grew up a Hogan-Flair mark. But I really liked Piper in his early days: His heel run and face turn while in Georgia was just brilliant and of course his work prior to Wrestlemania one was off the charts. Though he is never considered one, he is the best small guy ever in the business. And he made it without a spetacular workrate, moveset, or jumping off skyscrapers which is how so many of the smaller guys have to get over. And nobody was more hated.

  • @mongoose704 Piper was the perfect heel. People always talk about how Shawn Michaels was the small guy who opened doors but really it was Piper who made it possible. I have to disagree about the moveset because when I think of Piper right away I think of great sleeperholds, punches that are equal to Sting's and Undertaker's, eye pokes and charismatic and sudden changes in match direction.

  • @papillonaquatique Dynamite Kid , Benoit and Hart had a spetacular moveset whose execution looked absolutely stiff as hell. Piper isn't in their class. Given that he was a small guy that wasn't a great mat wrestler and definitely not a luchadore, he took a path that I haven't seen any small wrestler take. He was a small guy that made you hate him and take him as a serious threat all on the strength of how much of a dirty cheating asshole he was. Greatest heel ever.

  • @mongoose704 Glad to hear someone give Benoit credit where it is due! No one could do a German Suplex like him. Not even Kurt Angle. Which Hart are you talking about? Now that I think about it does it matter? All the Harts could wrestle anyone under the table. Literally. Piper really had that power of making you believe that he could and would get you if you screwed with him or you did something he didn't like.

  • @papillonaquatique Hey it's just a fact. Benoit was the best technical wrestler of the past 25 years. Piper? He was legitimately hated. I think he got stabbed by a fan once. triple H is another heel that has no redeeming qualities. In that character he will always be hated (that snobbish I am better than you pompous ass character.) he was so good he made Shawn Michaels look like a sympathetic character in their 2003 program.

  • @mongoose704 I ordered Piper's book so I can't wait to read about that incident. Triple H has legit heat. I can't stand him. I don't think he is a great wrestler either and I agree he outshined Michaels in the heat arena which is hard to do because Michaels has such great crowd control. Who are we missing here? How about the Iron Sheik? Never could stand him either.

  • @papillonaquatique My greatest heel list:

    Roddy Piper.

    Georgeous George

    Hollywood Hulk Hogan

    Ric Flair

    Triple H

Note that is tentative. So many wrestlers that doing a top five seems to shortchange a lot of great performers. Today it is hard for talent to make the majority of people hate them.

  • @mongoose704 sorry gorgeous george LOL!

  • @mongoose704 My greatest heel list

    Rowdy Roddy Piper

    Eric Bischoff

Shawn Michaels - DX era he really was a heel on and off camera and I am a huge Michaels fan and say that without hesitation.

Right To Censor - All of them. When their music hits you instantly get that feeling of hate.

Razor Ramon - How he never became champ along with Piper is beyond comprehension.

  • @papillonaquatique Right to Censor was a brilliant concept. They don't get much credit but man did they get heat. I doubt it would work today but back then, yes.

  • @mongoose704 I take my list back. The one guy in wrestling who you really dread to see, can't stand him and truly hate his guts kinda guy has got to be without a doubt Vince Russo. Not in a good heel way like a real scum of the earth kinda way. Not a single redeeming quality.

  • @mongoose704 I don't think my comment posted. Just in case. Piper is the best heel ever period. I disagree on his moveset because when I think of Piper I think swift changes of direction, sleeperholds, eye pokes and punches that match Sting's and Undertaker's. Piper opened the door for smaller guys and not Shawn Michaels.

  • @papillonaquatique Addendum: The last clean job until Mr America in 2003.

BTW I do agree Piper's tall tales do add to his mystique. No doubt he comes across like a personable, likable guy but I think as a businessman he could be very tough to deal with. Getting back to the original point of my first post: Piper says he is the equal of Hogan as far as impact on the industry and I say no. The facts do not support that.

  • awsome main event.

  • those were the best days

  • Holy crap, how much steroids did Paul Orndorff, inject into himself, in the months leading up to this main event?

  • Hogan and T the first real wrestlers in the world.

Piper and paul just do chicken fight

  • @ThePiroGrim

    Uh, right. *rolls eyes*

  • Hogan and Mr.T what a great tag team. Hulk Should Have came back to wwe at SummerSlam and help John Cena and Team WWE kick Nextus ass. Throw those Mother Fuckers out of the WWE for good.

  • Hogan and Mr.T what a great tag team.

  • Hogan and Mr.T what a great tag team.

  • Hogan and Mr.T what a great tag team.

  • There were no special moves etc, but it s awesome. RKO or FU or wat else are shit.

  • Hulk and Mr. T add Chuck Norris and they could rule the universe.

  • @TheStanleymgee

Wrestling is fake? Really? And all this time I really believed that grown men painted their faces, bought colorful outfits and called themselves names like The Undertaker, The Macho King, The Ultimate Warrior, Doink the Clown, The Dumpster, Papa Shango, etc.

  • @AntonBatey back then it wasn't as fake as you think it was back then ...it was legit until john fucking cena and rey mysterio came on which led to 9 yr old kids to start liking wrestling and watching it ...then that led to parents calling to complain on smackdown about cena's finisher FU and the violence so wrestling had to be changed to be fake

  • ffs if you think this shit is real you are more gay then justin bieber

  • @sokzo your mother is more gay than your fuckin prick ass!! in fact you have 2 fathers son of a bitch........

  • what do you expect? you're going against the T

  • man those were the days

  • A GREAT NUMBER OF HEROES WOW...CLASSIC STUFF

  • When people say Mr.T was a horrible wrestler, lemme tell you this, it was just .0000000001% of Mr. T cell. If 100% of T was there, the world would stop

    PS

also if you said Mr.T was a bad wrestler, lemme say that Mr.T is pitting each one of you fools....

  • FAKEEEEEE!!!!! 1:55

  • @autoromu REEEEAAAALLLL.....

  • Before people say that Mr. T sucked as a wrestler keep in mind that from experience it takes long serious training to get even the basics down.

  • This was an amazing match! It seemed really rough and was more like a big brawl then a wrestling match. Awesome!

  • Jesus, I used to watch wrestling as a kid, but I never knew Mr. T was in the WWF.

  • @Pinfeldorf It was cameo apperance. He was so popular back then they had to put him in the ring. Mr. T and Hulk tag team match? Are you kidding me? That was serious money in the bank.

  • All you E marks kiddies watching they are telling a story but you won't know that because the E do not tell storys in their matchs.

  • thease entertainers were SO MUCH BETTER then the wrestlers today

  • @TheMashwatcher585 I agree All the best wrestlers were back in the late 80s and early 90s.

Andre the giant, ultimate warrior,pa shango, machoman, british bulldog, hulk hogan.

  • @TheMashwatcher585 My thoughts exactly! It looks way rougher and unscripted too. It looks so robotic these days.

  • @TheMashwatcher585 how is this good........the finisher was terrible

  • @TheMashwatcher585 Totally right dude! To me it will always be WWF!!

  • you're a piece of shit the wrestling is real the winners aren't real!

  • oldschool rocks

  • he look s like 'little T' next to hulk~

  • you guys are dumb hulk hogan said in an interview that you can get seriuosly hurt but it is set up you train hard at wresling as well as take acting lessons he said that when he body slammed andre it was settup and andre allowed him to do it.

  • A nice fight

  • they do punch each other you're a moron i have seen guys badly bruised watch vader v..s flair 1993 and there are other matches guys get hurt bad it isn't fake!

  • that was 17 years ago, when fights weren't fake

  • @oldschool6804

dude, grow up, they might hit eachother, but its the art of making it look like they hit hard while they trie to not hurt the other as much as they can

if the punches, kicks were legit, they would be ko in a few seconds since they have no guard at all, if a heavyweight boxer goes down from one or a few punches, with gloves that is, a wrestler would go down after one big hit without gloves, and they dont, since they dont really punch eachother, live with it

  • i don't have to live with it you're misinformed idiot they hit hard i have seeeeen many guys with black eyes and bloody noses stfu asshole!

  • @oldschool6804

i'm gonna stop replying to ignorant ppl like you, you are the misinformed one, offcourse they have bruises and have the occasional injury's

but its not REAL its not a sport, its entertainment, i dont deny its very physical tho, they get hurt, and bad, its a hard business, but thats what it is, they DONT punch for real in a match

  • you're wrong i don't have to live with it being fake because you're liar they HIT VERY HARD! YOU DICK SUCKER

  • @oldschool6804

hehe, may i ask how old you are? if you are really young its ok to believe its all real, i did too when i was young, and i'm not saying it cant happen then hit for real, but only if the other one is stiff with them orso, but normally, no they dont

instead of calling ppl dicksucker on the i-net, try to check this with others plz, ask any wrestling fan, ask on wrestling fora, and come to the right conclusion

  • roddy piper is a fucking asshole

  • indeed Mr.T is best!

  • Thanks for posting the contents of this entire match! It was the main event of WWF/WWE's first pay per view!

  • FAKE

  • @Musicteil

Duuh!? Haha, I still love it!

  • dude ive been in a wrestling match and it is not fake trust me in tv it seems fake but when youre there you see the real punches

  • The story is scripted.

  • @rambatata124 i ken see if yo were a lil slooooow and or retarded you mite beeleeve it i is fur reel....

  • Before you Reply a comment; Please for all of us learn to spell and stop being a wanna be gangster

  • Superfly Jimmy Snuka

  • Hahahah so fake :)

  • In my opinion the 80's is the greatest wrestling era of all time.

  • thats good ld old classics =]

  • this fight is such epic..... love it!

  • You gotta love 80's wrestling! Thanks for upload.

  • i think the only injury there is neck injury or leg injury from stomping the ground and slammin onto their backs :p not really anything else

  • Do you really think this is for real? When the audiance thinks that they kick each other in tha stomach, they just stamp their leg in the floor. You stupid patriotic americans

  • You thinks it's so fake, erikssonator?! You think it's so fake?! Get in the ring!

  • @erikssonator

everyone knows that they dont kick or punch for real, hardly hit eachother, and trying to NOT hurt the other, but falling from the top rope surely does hurt, or hitting the rails, true a table, even tho its not hard material, serious injury's happen all the time

  • you say everyone knows they don't kick or punch well you're misinformed because they do hit each other read flairs book the punches are mostly legit the winners are planned though! you're an ignorant person if you feel otherwise!

  • THEY HIT EACH OTHER hard you're ignorant read flairs book the contact is mostly real you stupid mother fucker!

  • @erikssonator For the record, there are some Americans that aren't as ignorant and insensitive towards other countries and cultures, or ignorant of our world history as you try to paint us. Are you blind in your hate as to promote a double standard? Eat shit and and have a nice day.

  • @eyou're wrong they really hit and kick each other you stupid wanker!

  • Mr T and hulk hogan r amazing !!!

  • @ 0.58 the viewers didn't see the tag, but it is according to the man that matters.

  • I love Mr. T but man was he awful in the ring or what. This match was terrible. This was the main event of the first Wrestlemania? They couldn't have done any better than that?

  • Well of course they could, but since it was the 1st Wrestlemania, I guess they wanted to attract the most people possible by bringing mainstream possibilities.

  • Hulk Hoooogaaaaan! xD

  • 3:42 look T's hand:p

  • That was the ultimate battle of all battles

  • Wow, Ive seen the A-team a lot, but Ive never seen Mr T. acting that great!

  • mr.t should be a legend of wwe like piper and jimmy snuka

  • Cool match! I wish I'd seen it back in the day...

  • Wonder how these people would do in an actual fight, every one knows that wrestling is 90% theatrics, like an action movie. They do need athletic ability to take the throws, but the punching and head butting is fake. Oh and hulk/T won by pushing the one guy into the "deathtrap" Bob Orton. Isn't that cheating?

  • And that pathetic pile of shit was exciting why?

  • wrestlemania 1 was in 1985

  • mr. t should have stayed in wwf i wanted him to beat up the warrior!!!

  • It's WWE now. WWf is a copyrighted logo. the World Wildlife Fund.

  • Piper is one of the few wrestlers to be on the first Starrcade (a year BEFORE WM1 in 83) AND Wrestlemania. Talk about a wanted man.

  • But was he on the first November To Remember?

  • ....no. :(

  • back when refs had muscle...

  • A little trivia for you: this was the ONLY WrestleMania where the WWE Championship was NOT defended!

  • That's Right.

  • haha, mr T and hulk hogan are legends

  • Patterson vs.Piper would have been a good feud!

  • I Pity The Fool Of This Match >:D

  • that was the best fking wrestling match i've ever seen

  • what is the name of the song at the very end

  • MR. T IS TOUCHING MR. WONDERFUL in a very gay manner from about 3:35 to 3:41 he was rubbing his body and then at 3:41 he smacked Mr. wonderful's ass....Mr. t is suspect

  • shut up you fool!

    MR.T will kill you!

  • YOU'RE RIGHT LOL!!!

  • MR: T RULEZ!!!! xD

  • I remember Cowboy Bob Orton had that cast on for like 3 years, or so it seemed.

  • Lol is it me or do the special guests (not wrestlers) always win ....

lawrence taylor (rugbyer) vs bow bow gigalo (wrestler) Lawrene won! lol

haha their the biggest joke in WWE history if you get beaton by a not wrestler

  • that was AWESOME!!!!

  • 1:54 a total acting

  • Hulk Hogan? acting? never LOL!

  • check out the ass pat at 3:40

  • yeah mr t!

    100th comment!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 1. This is no actual answer :o, just my stupid webbrowser.

Argh, I really hate Wrestling D=

  • I kinda felt bad for Snuka, because after this , he was exiled from the WWF/E. Yeah he came back but still...

  • 1:44-1:55. Hulk Hogan went Nuts!!! P.S: I know wrestling is as coriagraphed as any ballet.

  • 1:54 lol i know wwe is fake but come on this one just makes it embarrassing

  • ahaha

  • lol

  • and the winners of the main event:

    Hulk Hogan and Mr. T

  • Mr T tapped that ass good at 3:40

  • LMAOOO!@@

  • That was pretty good. No wonder its considered a classic.

  • its a shame that hogan had to wrestle this match by himself. this is the main reason why celebrities don't belong in the ring.

  • wow how often do you see a tag match as a main event let alone a tag match at wrestlemania

  • BLARG!

  • Nothing beats the old school 80s Wrestle Mania. I don't care for the new WWF. The old school wrestling is the best!

  • So true! Every Saturday morning man.
