  • ok look everyone i had an uncle who flew b-17's for the us and a 3rd cousin who flew me-109's for the luftwaffe. My 3rd cousin wasnt a crazed evil person he only flew to protect his family from hitler. We all need to realize that war is hell no matter what side your on, so we all need to chill because no matter what side your for or where your from we are all HUMANS!!!

  • Incredible. Thanks so much

  • crueled but necessaryed

  • What nailed that 262 ?

  • @theinquiziter Almost certainly a P-51.

  • Amis und Tommy sind einfach nur Jämmerlich

  • Germany had their butt kicked, and will never be a military threat again. Ha, Ha.

  • Rule Britannia ^ ^

  • "The remnant of the master weapon, of the master race is being blown to bits." Bet you hated hearing that Holodenier! HAHA. And I agree with Panhead 55.

  • No doubt you are just another pissed arab Jew-hating sandnigger who is pissed that the Germans lost.

  • Show some videos of your own "invincible" USAAF fighters getting blown to pieces. The Luftwaffe shot down a few thousands of those, so show it, don´t be shy.

  • Yes but who surrendered unconditionally after getting their arse kicked on two fronts? In war soldiers, sailors & pilots on both sides get killed, thats inevitable. It's the final outcome that counts. We all know how this war ended so stop trying to salvage whatever small victories you think the nazi's acheived, it's a waste of time.

  • Why are you being a freakin dick? By saying that you have dishonored ever living soul that ever fought and died in that war. It wasn't about kills or who was the better pilot, it was survival. He is providing HISTORY! If you don't like it go read Lord of the Rings. There are more videos of b17's being shot down than any German fighter or bomber. But considering your country has never aided in a major conflict I guess you wouldn't know the meaning of sacrifice.

  • An amazing channel bomberguy, and this was some truly amazing imagery. First time I have seen images of the Mistel combination /Beethoven Geraet in flight. It appears that we see a flight of these being broken up. Could this be imagery from attempted attacks at the bridge of Rhemagen?

I wonder whether the guys were fully aware that they were shooting at multiple tons of high explosives from up close?

    Keep em coming bomberguy!

  • What dreadful losses incredible.

    So brave these Guys

  • hey pal, i think you got it wrong. first off how old are you anyways? how do you know what anyone was thinking or feeling back in these days? it always easy to critique something after it happens. if anything you should show "both" sides some respect no matter where you might stand on this subject.

  • you should probably jump off a really tall building

  • It is interesting to me that holodenier lives in the U.S. A country he obviously hates. The irony of this is that we are far more tolerant of his Nazi hate speech that if he lived in his homeland, Germany. There he would be arrested since they now recognize what a mad man hitler was and how ignorant they were to have followed him and how Hitler so devasted their own country. The U.S. kicked Nazi ass and he can't stand it!

  • @markleyg Yes you're right. There are so many Germans commenting on clips like this all over YouTube that proclaim how superior the nazi military was. They are in denial that:

    (a) they lost the war.

    (b) they deserved to lose the war.

    (c) they were not really courageous or smart. If they were they would have fought hitler instead of the allies.

  • It is because of blind ignorance, such as exhibited by people like Holodenier, that the freedom loving people of the world have to fight wars.

    Lightninglover

  • They were hung

  • And no the nazis were never gassed....

  • Rotterdam was a civilian target by the way,it was to be bombed because the Germans couldnt break trought Dutch defences,Other cities on the list were Amsterdam and The Hague..the reason why Holland surrendered was the government was not prepared enough for a war,it was concidered treason by the Germans because we were neutral.Anyway thats all a long time ago,the Germans got their asses kicked like they deserved and all bombing attacks on cities regardless of which country did them is a war crime

  • Those are pretty rare pictures,JU-88 remotely controlled bombs, nice to see.

  • holodonier you fucking suck ,go suck on nazi cock fag face, ill bomb you myself.

  • Only depraved cowards and criminals carry on like jonatha24. And he is typical of the many slobs who hired themselves as "assassins for the Jews."

    FPBerg

  • @holodenier

I think it was the Germans that started bombing civilians when they started bombing London after the Battle of Britain night and night killing many innocent people, so both sides did bad things just saying that America wasn't the only one. Oh and I don't have evidence gassings did happen but I'm pretty sure they did I've heard many Holocaust survivors says so unless they are all lying for some reason =\

  • So what do you say nazi-hun guy holodenier, you want to start another war .

  • A fascinating video... just don't forget that some of these bombs are still found in Germany and they are still dangerous.

Every year they have to evacuate large areas because another bomb was found on a construction site.... 60 years after the war.

  • They're also still being found in British cities such as London, Sheffield and most recently on Teeside so we're even. A large German bomb was recently found on the site of what will be the 2012 Olympics.

  • But it was the British who began the deliberate bombing of civilians during WW2 with the bombing of Moenchengladbach on May 11, 1940.

Get used to it. The ALLies were the worst war criminals in the history of the world until the Korean War when the UN Allies murdered at least 2 million Korean civilians with napalm.

    FPBerg

  • So the bombing undertaken by the Luftwaffe prior to that date was aimed exclusively at military targets? Where are your sources to back this up? Likewise, where is your source that states the RAF deliberately targetted Moenchngladbach as a civilian population centre?

How many civilians did the Luftwaffe, SS, Gestapo and Organisation Todt (through negligence) kill? Easily in excess of 2 million. Produce internationally recognised statistics and sources for your claims.

  • In "Among the Dead Cities" by A. C. Grayling page 32 he wrote: "Bomber Command's first large attack on German soil occurred on the night of 11-12 May, when thierty-six Whitleys and Hampdens set off to bomb the transport links around Moenchengladbach."

The "transport links" were civilian targets.

    Friedrich Paul Berg

  • Since the main German transport network had been designed primarily for military purposes, your conclusion is nothing more than a matter of opinion.

Besides, your quote is irrelevent unless you answer my first question, do you have conclusive proof that the Luftwaffe exclusively bombed military targets, prior to 11/12 May?

  • Still didn't answer my question about the Luftwaffe's bombing policy? Try studying the transcripts of the Nuremberg war trials when questioning Milch, Kesselring and Goering - if you can ever bring yourself to stomach the truth.

The German transport network was designed primarily for military purposes in the late C.19th, with the main networks radiating from Berlin. Anyone with an interest in the German tansport system could study the maps and come to the same conclusion.

  • Thank you for conceding my point, about the German military transport network.

However, you continue to avoid my Luftwaffe question. Did they know the difference between a civilian target, say Rotterdam and a military target?

As you have avoided questions from other posters on here, could this be because you are all attitude and no substance? Answer all the questions aimed at you on this thread and the others or prove that you are incapable of doing so by continuing to avoid them.

  • Rotterdam at the time of the German bombing had become a military target since there was ground fighting within the part of the city that was bombed. The ground fighting had preceded the bombing.

Wingdoss cannot understand the difference between "civilian" and "military" since he comes from a society which is criminally insane anyway.

The German railways were "civilian" until they would have been part of the ground fighting.

    "Nazi Gassings Never Happened!"

    Friedrich Paul Berg

  • So German railways exclusively carrying and storing military resources were not de facto military targets?

I'm not aware that all the bombs which fell on Rotterdam landed in an area reserved for fighting?

  • during WW-2 all of Germany was a military target of the RAF and the 8th AF. my dad flew with the 8th out of Polebroke, 351 Bg 911 Sq. i will not apologise for their action against the 3rd Reich. war is hell and the 3rd Reich brought the wrath of the Allies upon themselves....bockscar43!

  • Freedom? LOL! Freedom of the party members to steal everything they could get from the lowly, common citizen.

    Ignorance is truly bliss, eh?

  • @bockscar43 yes warcriminals thats rigth, only 1 way usa figth a war just pore in with all u got and thats alot, lose 1 and 10 others is ready to take off.

  • Bomberguy. You are a great person for posting this...

  • I hope my grandpa killed them all. He was a mighty *th hero you nazi piece of shit Freidrich Paul Berg

  • Was soll dieser braune, ekelhafte Erguss hier ?? Weg mit der Nazipropaganda !!

  • Toleranz! T-o-l-e-r-a-n-z!

  • write in english fucker im french andf i write in english so everyone can see unless your a fucking coward

  • why are You using the canadian flag when being french. Did not know Canda is a colony of France :o) No offence I am just asking why You dont use the proud tri-colore. Even if Charles De Gaulles said on a visit to the collected peoples " Vive le France" id does not mean Canada is part of the "Grande Nation". I like the french, I am living near the border of France, I even have french relatives but I think seeing the franco-canada as part of France is a bit overshooting the topic.

  • @LRotermund Wo jüdische US-Propaganda ist, da darf auch Nazipropaganda hin.

  • Auf dieses Video antwort

Like the german Wochenschau, the "mighty eight" is a worthless war propaganda, here from the other side. They show only the losses of the enemy but not the own.

  • your so fucking stupid when theres a war innocent will get killed thats why war is a bad thing dumb ass but when you are attack you have no choice but to responde with force nazi killed jews to instinct them ,i think its fucking worst fuck

  • Compared to how many millions innocent civilians murdered by the SS, Gestapo, the Todt Organisation (through negligence) and the Luftwaffe?

You're sore because the Allies beat Germany at their own game. They started civilian bombing in WW I with Zeppelins and Gothas. But in WW II they made the mistake (as admitted by Wolfram Richthofen)of neglecting to produce heavy bombers, the Allies didn't make the same mistake.

  • Very nice footage. All three of the videos

  • Can I offer you an explanation of the middle part of the film which emphasises American losses? You don't have to be a historian to understand that for every plane there might be over a hundred perfectly-safe ground staff; for every GI on Omaha, probably the same ratio, never exposed to any danger.

But these were the Americans the Brits saw. They seemed like rich tourists.

After civilian bombing and so many deaths in action, Britain needed convincing that the Americans were suffering too.

  • If a person who'd grown up poor in the Great Depression of the 30's found themselves with a relatively impressive wage packet but very far from the comforts of home, then retail therapy would appear to be just as good a way of coping as any.

  • Interesting this acceptance of segregation even in wartime as seen at the beginning of the clip. Anything on the Tusakagee airmen? Sadly Poles had the same sort of experience at the end of the war. They were not allowed to fly or take part in the victory parade. This started as a political decision as the UK had recognised Russian dominance but it fostered a lot of discrimination and 'Go back to Poland' cries afterwards.

  • As far as I'm concerned, how the UK treated the Poles at the end of the war was a national disgrace. Every comment I've read about Polish airmen from primary sources praised their fighting spirit as sometimes being beyond belief.

  • This is the best Ive seen of the piggyback project. What a program of desperation!! Notice the excellent sound effects - the camera of course had no sound.

  • once again Bomberguy mate you have found a real bit of history... what brave lads to have flown these raids during the day light hours...that takes real bottle.. god bless them all.
