Every time i watch this clip i have a different reaction, The first time was nothing, then i saw the comedy, then i saw the sadness, and now i just love this clip.

First & foremost Woody is a pervert from what I've read that the State attorney in Connecticut investigating his child molestation case found that probable cause existed for prosecuting Allen, but it was not worth subjecting the child to the possible trauma media frenzy court trial. And he has court orders not to see his children he adopted previously. And the judge said his behavior was very inapropriate. So nothing he does makes me laugh.

For Woody Allan to protest seems to bring more weight to the table than most; there is no reason for a writer/director/actor to feel the pinch from a writer's guild strike (naturally, I assume he has co-writers and editors, but if he were forced to make a film I'm sure he could still make it happen). This is a true sympathy strike and not just some self-serving complaint.
