There is criminal mischief here. The toxic wells remained in use providing drinking water for years. Why weren't the wells shut down upon the first abnormal test?

My husband was stationed in Camp Lejuene for 2 years. During those 2 years, my husband was exposed to toxic levels of benzene.
My husband was diagnosed with Acute Mylogenic Leukemia.
Why is the Marine Corp allowed to cover this up?
