Welkommen to the NWO komerad. They might do better to spend this money on terrorist recognition software and maybe a little politically incorrect profiling of those on watch list's. Leave your freedom at the gates folks.
lol, I was very curious when I saw so much dislikes on a simple demonstration on a machine like that. It was obvious that it was mistaken for something else, lol.
Watch a Pre-January 8th copy of Inception. Listen closely when the actors say imagine, reality, and safe, or point pistols. You'll hear the words, Loughner, offin' her, part of the word Giffords, and much more. Some even say they hear, do it.
1)- There is no law stating the TSA can't touch you. They can put you into a room and shove their hand up your ass and then shoot you(luckily they don't have guns) They are allowed to do anything deemed necessary
2)- the radiation of the scanners only goes 1/10 of an inch into your skin. cell phones radiation goes 1 1/2.The scanners aren't that bad you just put your arms up stand there for a few seconds and then go.The bad thing is the scanners wont pick up bombs in places where there are ones
We are being acculturated to scanners of all sorts - so whether this one is harmless or not - it’s all a part of the process of dehumanization. Chips and retina scanners are on the way too...
This truly proves the ignorance of some people. This has NOTHING to do with the X-RAY scanners that TSA uses. This is a reflective light (non-intrusive) like Infra-red light (white light though) that measures distance light travels to computate a render of vectors of your EXTERNAL measurements. Please Marena, accept my personal apology for the ignorance that some have showed about the technology you have created. This is a true asset to technology and thank you for sharing your work with us.
They try to make this seem so benign yet the radiation levels are astronomical. Experts say that many will develop cancer within 4-5 yrs just from one scan. They can't just steal our freedom; they need our cooperation through willful ignorance. The young lady in this video exemplified how to submit perfectly.
@ericjaynelson our body scanner uses white light. It is as harmful as standing next to a light bulb. Goverment or airport scanners don't read the outer "layer" as ours does, their penetrate the subject. I can understand your concerns though.
@MarenaGroup: Do you mean to tell me that the scanner used in the video is harmless as compared to the stuff homeland security started rolling out a few months ago? In other words you're saying these are 2 completely different systems? If that be the case I owe the young lady in the video an apology.
@ericjaynelson Your right. Two very different systems. I can't tell anything about what the person has under their clothes with a white light scanner. I can only get the measurements of the shape in the scanner.
@MarenaGroup: My apologies to the young lady in the video and to anyone else who read my previous comment! The young lady is not guilty of showing US how to act like brain dead sheeple and surrender our dignity, privacy and humanity to the tsa.
a CT scanner at the hospital is harmful to your health and can cause cancer because it is an xray scanner. an MR scanner at the hospital is totally harmless. the scanner in this video just uses visible light and is totally harmless. the scanners at the airport use millimeter wave light and is also considered completely harmless.
not all scanners are dangerous. same as a photocopier isn't dangerous.
@DanFrederiksen: It's been awhile since I commented on this video but I did make other comments acknowledging that I now understood that the white light scanners are not dangerous.
@ericjaynelson seems I owe you an apology. at least in part. it does seem that most airport scanners do use xray which can be harmful. they do however claim that it's so faint that it's no more than you get from a few minutes of normal daily living from the environment. I would be against any use of xray on principle.
@DanFrederiksen: No problem at all! At least you are concerned enough to be involved & enough of an adult to even offer an apology! The cat is indeed out of the bag; the airport scanners are the equivalent to human microwaves. I knew something dastardly was up when the tsa stated they weren't saving the images but then they got caught doing just that. They also announced that Muslims would not have to be naked body scanned. Yet this is for national security? And the borders are still wide open!
@ericjaynelson This is a 3D modelling scanner, not a radio wave device that penetrates matter. They just pick-up coordinates on object surfaces. Normally used by car design firms to export clay models into CAD for manufacturing. Totally harmless.
@kopial: Thanks for the info! I'd like to know why they don't just use these scanners at all airports instead of those dangerous human microwaves if this is all being done for our safety? And why did TSA announce that Muslims would not have to be naked body scanned or have anyone run their sadistic anti freedom fingers up their collective butt cracks? Or why are the borders still wide open if this is about our so safety?
@TheDano1947: I don't blame you for being skeptical at all. It's been a while but it seems like I remember researching that white light is healthy and harmless. Having said that, I would still opt out and if I'm not mistaken michael chertoff the former head of homeland security is not making any money off of the white light scanners yet he's making billions off of the scanners that take 3 dimensional images of your naked body while pumping you full of harmful radiation.
It really shows your shape. We do not take the reference data and re-map the scan with a skin like the security scanners do. The scan is a bunch of lines and reference points, fine details are not visible at the point we use it.
You would be very hard pressed to be able to tell your own scan from someone your same size unless you knew your exact measurements and had the data from each scan in hand. Privacy is very important to us. Thanks for the comment.

All Radiation damage is cumulative.
Even sunburns.
Your body can only tolerate a certain amount.
It varies from person to person, but not by much.
Once you hit the point where your body cannot tolerate any more your organs start to fail.
One exposure too many can trigger long-term illnesses, including, but not limited to, Cancer.
A full body scan delivers almost a full body lifetime dosage of Radiation.
It's like standing in fire...you are being burned.
The results ALWAYS show up eventually.

@hammerogod
Millimeter Wave Light scanning is relatively safe.
X-Rays are not.

It can't be any worse than an M.R.I.
MrWmf483 4 months ago
@MrWmf483
MRIs do not use Radiation.
They use the differences in MAGNETIC fluctuations between the density of body mass components to create an image.
The are FAR less likely to cause any long-term damage.
In fact, they are unlikely to cause any damage at all.

@ericjaynelson This system scans the outside of the body to create a 3D model, not penetrative vision like the new airport scanners.

@ericjaynelson Yeah... just like everyone who gets XRayed develops cancer in 4 or 5 years right?
WaxItYourself 5 months ago
@WaxItYourself
No, not everyone.
But the number of people who develop Cancer as a direct result of exposure to Radiation is staggering.

@ericjaynelson Some guy told me that these scans produce no more radiation then an X-box. So naturally I didn't believe him either.
