The 3rd element: The Batwa Community is part of Rwandan history but as Hutu and Tutsi go on messing around as if we are the only Two Rwanda families, we just forget that Batwa are also Rwandans! Shame on me ... and us! They dance so well ... I like them. Thanks for the vid, though!
I am glad 2 hear that u are helping these people; it is commendable. And I am sure many ppl wish were in yr feet 4 the joyous experience u had with the Batwa. I harbor no hatred towards u or the Batwa--on the contrary I wish both of u the best of luck. My only question is: which is better 2 teach someone how 2 fish or spoil him/them with gifts of loads and loads of free fish? Best of luck in yr missionary work.
Hi thanks for your reply. BTW my yesterday's middle comment was directed to haliphaqx and not you ;-) And in answer to your question teach someone to fish definitely.
I was very priviledged to be with such people last October in Rwanda for one week. It was very humbling to be among such people many of whom had lost everything and been through hell and back yet can still smile and have joy in their hearts.
Hi they aren't showing off to the "tourists" it's a welcome dance to visitors one of whom is Denise from Solace Ministries Rwanda she is in a black top with white trousers and back to camera she starts been seen on camera about 0.29 into video. She was widowed during the genocide the "tourists" are actually guests and compatriats of Denise. Speaking of eating Solace Ministries helps with purchasing of goats and cattle. Solace Ministries is Rwandan ministry by Rwandans for Rwandans.
Regardless of whether they are in Rwanda or Congo, the Batwa need help. True they are having fun and showing off 2 the tourists but u don't eat fun or traditional dances. They seem very poor. That part of the country should be developed by the govt responsible.
wow to all rwandan I had changed my citizenship from congolais to rwandan and I am so proud of doing that. I lives in the Atlanta Georgia USA, to who ever posted this video you just remind me back home Rwanda!!
That is my "RWANDA". thank you so so much....
It's so good.
I'm rwandaise not Umutwa but from Rwanda the same country with this people. I love to see this because it is nothing but the truth.
manehajeh sorry thats the best i can do im a canadian rwandise batawas are so happy even tho alot of them dont live well that shows u dont need money to be happy

That looks like fun! I would love to be there... Great to see such a positive portrayal of Africa, Rwanda, and the beautiful Twa people.
