No-one can descredit the fact that Dante is a good man; not an easy thing to raise. Micheal is a spoiled rich kid headed for the mob and Christina is a sex slave for an abusive boyfriend. If Olivia had told Dante the truth would he have abandoned the case? Its highly possible he would have stood his ground and followed through. If Olivia would have told Sony , he would have tried to claim Dante, making Dante look like a crooked cop and ruining Dantes credibility as cop Hindsight is 20/20.
i love watching maurice play sonny, but i hate that character sooo much. he's the asshole that shot a good man, who saved his life and his son's life, at point blank range, but somehow that's olivia's fault. he didn't have to know that dante was his son to know that murdering him wasn't right.
