Even though for this power level I'd normally recommend safety glasses, he is not doing anything in his videos that I would call dangerous or risky.

Pointing a laser at a window though is definitely very dangerous and should only be done with safety glasses.

It is a classification issue. The highest power level is 200 so that laser even though it is averaging 250 is classified as 200mW. that means you get 50mW plus for free

No. This is a very common misunderstanding. All the normal lasers such as green, blue, red and IR have no relation to cancer causing radiation.

The light emitted by a green laser is no more dangerous radiation wise than a normal light globe. It is just concentrated green light.

Hard to say because the nearest reference points are planes (not good) and satellites (too far). To give you a better idea, I've used this model to reach the bottom of clouds and go higher.

You need at least a few seconds before any damage is done to your skin because skin has a high moisture content and can absorb a lot of heat.

A 5mW laser does not have enough power to burn anything.
